I bought an open-box item which made it affordable and worth it. It was like new! Have no fear of buying open box items, this was like it was never used. Installation was easy. Hardest part was getting the old seat off! But does it work? Yes, but also no. The Woman says it works fine in back but not in front. Spray is almost too strong, angle is odd, and water ends up on the seat in back and in front. Moving around on the seat helps but then the seat detects no person and shuts off. BTW I am of average height and weight. But the main point is washing the back, and for someone with hemorrhoids it’s really great. The Man says it doesn’t work great in back, but he did not read the directions so take that with a grain of salt. Also the dry function is weak. Paper is still needed, use the dryer for a final dry if you want. I would buy it again for the price but would get a model with a greater reach and more options like programmable settings if I could.

Skeptical at first, now I cannot imagine using the toilet without my Swash 1000. I bought the Swash in preparation for shoulder surgery and six weeks to six months of diminished capacity and difficulty trying to clean myself with my off hand because that shoulder is injured as well. The Brondell Swash 1000, the Cadillac of bum washers, definitely gets me 1,000,000 husband points because, during the recovery from surgery, my wife will be relieved of the unpleasant task that the Swash 1000 does so perfectly. I’ve lived with a porcelain bidet before, and the Swash is much easier and works just as well, if not better; as an added bonus, it cleans itself. I bought it 3 months before the surgery to be sure that it was the correct solution and I could not be more pleased. I have learned to wiggle a bit to get total coverage, and I sit and let the entire operation run as programmed. I use warm water and let the wash program run until it stops, I deodorize, and then dry off with warm air. As a quality control measure, I use a few folded sheets of TP and gently dab to make sure that I am clean and dry; I always am if I let the program run to completion. It is perfect; I rise from the seat confident that I am clean and will remain fresh during the day. It’s relaxing to spend a few pleasant moments on a warm seat with a warm water wash and a warm dry. I use the time to read the news on my iPhone, or catch up on email. As it happened, I suffered a case of hemorrhoids the week that I ordered the Swash and, boy!, was I happy to have the swash to clean up. The gentle washing and the air drying helped tremendously. There was never any pain since the only thing that touched me was a soft spray and air. I even used cold water and drying for some much wanted relief. I believe the Swash was instrumental in the speed of my recovery. The swash was extremely easy to install and I had it ready ten minutes after delivery. The controls and the operation are simple and straightforward. It’s built well and built to last. Now that we have it, I cannot imagine being without it. I plan accordingly and make sure that I am near my Swash when nature calls. My wife and I both love the Swash 1000 and will never be without it.  My only regret is that I waited to buy it for several years after I had discovered it. I highly recommend it and it is worth every penny.

Super easy to install. Electric is easier to install than hot water so went for this model. simply "T"'s into the toilet water line. If you can change a toilet seat and change a toilet flexible water line you can install this bidet seat. Works as advertised. Sure the water flow is not as great as a stand alone bidet but it easily does the job. If I had the room to add a separate bidet, yes I would, but I don't in this house. I miss not having a bidet and this is the perfect solution. All nozzle adjustment, water pressure, stream width, stream movement, self rinsing, all work as advertised. Dryer probably won't dry completely unless you intend to finish the Sunday paper, but it is forceful and very warm. I am very happy with this item and would recommend it to others. I am glad I didn't go for the lower end models because the added features are nice to have. Granted I have never used a bidet seat before but have had several traditional bidets in other houses and this will do nicely. Again the install was much easier than I expected, truly 15 minutes.

I first purchased the Swash 1000 a few years ago and absolutely loved it. I've just purchased my second. It's easy to install, well-made, easy to use and looks great! It's something I just don't want to live without. Visitors have loved it as well, after the initial embarrassment and instructions on how to use. It makes you feel so clean. I also like that it's an elevated seat especially now that I'm in my 60's. And also love the heated seat, slow close seat/lid, and oscillating feature. The one feature I find I don't use much is the dryer. But again, it's a product I have found I don't want to live without and the quality of my life has definitely improved with the Swash 1000!! I was scheduled for a multi-level spinal fusion and had a lot of anxiety about toileting after surgery as I was not supposed to bend or twist for 3 months. A coworker mentioned that her brother in CA uses a Swash because of hemroids. We checked it out on youtube and inbetween falling off our chairs laughing, I was convinced this was going to be the best option for me after surgery. I ordered the Swash 1000 for the newest features, like the dryer and move feature. What a relief to a person who has mobility problems or has had surgery. No one wants to have to ask a spouse or family member to do that for you. The Swash 1000 works so well that I even shared my find with my surgeon's office so they could let other patients know that they have opyions yo keep their dignity

After surgery for colon cancer, it was imperative I find a way to gently and thoroughly clean my behind without additional irritation. The Brondell bidet was perfect. Using the remote control at first was a bit confusing, but practice made perfect. Adjusting water temperature depending on how I'm feeling for the day, and also being able to adjust the amount of water in the spray, as well as three spray settings, made all the difference. Why bidets are not default installations in US bathrooms is still a mystery to me. Delay the purchase no longer!!

I wish I had bought one of these years ago. As an older man, I spend more time on the toilet than I did years ago. It feels as if I had showered after every use and it took only 4 minutes with no squeegee of glass or towel needed. For those who have had skid mark problems, consider yourself emancipated with this seat.

When I recently observed shoppers fighting over TP at the grocery store like chickens fight over a worm I decided to finally make the move away from paper. Yes, the China Virus was the motivator that got me moving "butt" glad I did and the Mrs. is happy too! Had it all hooked up in 30 minutes, great design say's this retired aircraft machanic. Wished I had installed it sooner, life would have been better while I was recovering from shoulder surgery, that was a challange.

ever since I saw something like these in Europe my goal is to have these but because every time I look around around the prize are expensive and I couldn't afford it when I saw it on sell @costco I grave the opportunity purchase it and installed I'm very happy with my purchase comfortable very sanitary I cant ask for more thanks Brondell for your nice product

Just purchased our second Brondell Swash 1000 for our guest bathroom! My husband has a bad back and I had female surgery this past year, the Brondell saved our lives! How did we live without it? The heated seat is a dream and the warm water front or rear wash is perfect! It is so hygienic and comforting. The Europeans have been using bidets for centuries for hygiene and health. The Brondell Swash 1000 does not disappoint. We will never be without it again. The price was perfect and the unit is extremely well made, with very high quality components. The unit looks sleek and clean. We have ranted and raved about the Brondell Swash 1000 to all of,our friends and family. Now our daughter and son purchased one, and they love it! . All surgeons should recommend them as well!! We are DEFINATLEY converts and will never go back to a regular seat! It is extremely easy to install and sets up in minutes. Overall a 10 star rating!!!
