I have bought this several times . compare to $13.50-$15.00 per pound in the deli. Slow cook on LOW for about 5 hours with the fat cap up in an inch of water or beef stock with included spices. I flip the brisket half way through personally. I let cool completely and slice as thin as possible with a sharp knife, keeping the slices in a ziplock bag. cooking on low minimizes shrinkage. If you cook on high, you will end up with something closer to the consistency of canned corned beef, which is not appealing to me personally.

Nothing but Fat. Sams has let their quality go severely down. I have relied on Sams for almost 15 years to buy corned beef and have gotten nothing but far the last several times. This is my first review ever and I'm so tired of seeing my money go to waste. You can't see anything through their package. They pack their meat with inly the non fatty parts visible. Buyer Beware. You will waste your money. I bought a 4 lb corned beef and got 3lbs of fats. GROSS. I had to give this product 1 star in order to post my review. This product deserves 0 stars.

Got wrong product

Ok taste. Somehow the spices are off from traditional corned beef - missing a key spice or the ratio is off? Extremely salty compared to other brands.

Historically, we loved using this package of meat for Reuben or corned beef and cabbage. But NEVER again. ☹ Our 3.9lb $25 purchase this week was 50% water, 16% fat and 34% meat. We had to go back to the store to purchase enough meat for dinner.

Best corned beef I’ve ever bought. I cooked it with the provided instructions.

This product was stringy, fatty, and the worst was the chemical preservative taste , almost soapy.

Sam's Club corned beef. I don't think I will be buying is any more as they are extremely salty .
