It was superb.

As an octogenarian this corned beef brisket is like what I remember to be the taste of steam table servers in New York and San Fransisco in the 1960’s. Fabulous. Do not overcook. Remarkably free of red dyes found in grocery store versions. A suggestion on the label indicated it was already seasoned and using the enclose seasoning package was optional. The suggestion was followed and it was terrific. This is a boutique cut and while good with cabbage, the stand alone for slicing makes for that classic steam table taste and texture on rye bread sandwiches.

There was literally not enough corned beef for two sandwiches it was completely fat. I purchased multiple times and lately this is the quality. Will not purchase again. I used to get the corned beef and it was good but no more!

Unlike other Corned Beef, this brisket when cooked properly actually flakes off like a pulled pork or beef brisket, which makes it a quality product.

Nothing but Fat. Sams has let their quality go severely down. I have relied on Sams for almost 15 years to buy corned beef and have gotten nothing but far the last several times. This is my first review ever and I'm so tired of seeing my money go to waste. You can't see anything through their package. They pack their meat with inly the non fatty parts visible. Buyer Beware. You will waste your money. I bought a 4 lb corned beef and got 3lbs of fats. GROSS. I had to give this product 1 star in order to post my review. This product deserves 0 stars.
