Purchased this last month and have given it a workout. I am gonna have to call it a Workhorse. Arrived with oil for Honda engine. Triplex pump filled with oil. Added gas and 2 pulls later, it was washing out a mud trailer with extreme prejudice. Tried the soap spayer configuration and it cleaned a metal barn to look like new. I am not the easiest person to impress with water pressure, as I own a truck wash and know what a great pump is all about. Thanks Simpson!

Bought the Simpson 4240 at Lowes along with a Surface Cleaner. First use was our front driveway and side walks - the combo did a GREAT job. Between the Simpson's high pressure/high volume output with a stainless steel 15 " surface cleaner - the job went quickly with wonderful results.

Bought the PD4240 for may 500 feet of concrete driveway and also the many retaining walls I have. Was afraid it would be big and cumbersome and hard to store but it was not, not any more difficult than my old 2100 PSI machine. It starts easily and is surprisingly good on gas. I love the adjustable output pressure, and it works well with the attachment for driveway cleaning, also a SImpson product.

I previously owned a 3600 PSI unit from a different manufacturer; while it performed well, there is no comparison to this 4400 PSI unit. If you need a strong cleaning capability, along with a high-reach stream, this is the unit for you. Most impressive.

Since purchasing this pressure washer approx. one month ago, I have used it 4 times. Of course the Honda engine started after 3 pulls and runs flawlessly. Just as you would expect from a Honda engine. The washer provides plenty of pressure with minimum vibration and no issues, what so ever. Totally satisfied thus far.

Only used it once so far after setup. Incredible power difference from my old 2550 psi unit. It’s quieter too. Easy to operate, stable platform, and started on the first pull. Large capacity fuel tank and variable pressure control makes it more versatile around the house. So far, very happy.

Have not owned product long enough for a thorough review. The motor is strong, easy to start at this point. The wand functions and various pressure tips allow a lot of adjustability with use of the product. The mobility of the entire unit is.....not good. The wand constantly falls of when in holder and the hose holder is useless when moving this "portable" unit. If you are looking for a product that is easily portable in one package, this is not it.

3300-psi/2.5-gpm and works great right out of the box with a very simple prep. I put it to work immediatly on the driveway, very pleased with the results. The Honda GX200, 6.5hp engine is easy to start (3-year warranty) and the AAA Triplex Plunger Pump (5-year Warranty) for years of dependable service. This is a good set-up and I believe it is well worth the price!

Powerful unit, yet compact and easy to use. Love the simple pictorial instructions which will make it easy for my spanish speaking dayporters to use the unit correctly. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a power washer rather it be for commercial or residential use.

First time using this washer with surface cleaner on our concrete driveway, it was a breeze to use. I was able to clean several years of mold and dirt off our driveway. Washer started easy and is a solid built unit. Has plenty of power for our residential use.
