I bought this to pressure wash my house and driveway. Using only the green tip it works great. The best thing about all this power is time. My son in law has an 1800 psi electric pressure washer and if I would have used it on my project I'm guessing 12 hours. With the 4400 psi I did the entire project in 4 hours.

This machine is more expensive than the one it replaces but has some better features like a chrome or maybe it's SS gas cap. My old machine had a cheap carbon steel one that rusted very soon after purchase. This one runs well I just hope the pump doesn't explode like my last one.

Purchased this last month and have given it a workout. I am gonna have to call it a Workhorse. Arrived with oil for Honda engine. Triplex pump filled with oil. Added gas and 2 pulls later, it was washing out a mud trailer with extreme prejudice. Tried the soap spayer configuration and it cleaned a metal barn to look like new. I am not the easiest person to impress with water pressure, as I own a truck wash and know what a great pump is all about. Thanks Simpson!

I’m having a great experience with my new Simpson. Easy to start and plenty of power for general pressure washing and my surface cleaner. Only one small problem that was easy to fix with the friendly help of customer service. The throttle was very tight but loosened up with a tweek of the nut that secures the throttle arm to the engine. Easy to locate between the air cleaner and exhaust right next to the spark plug. Highly recommend this unit.

Bought the PD4240 for may 500 feet of concrete driveway and also the many retaining walls I have. Was afraid it would be big and cumbersome and hard to store but it was not, not any more difficult than my old 2100 PSI machine. It starts easily and is surprisingly good on gas. I love the adjustable output pressure, and it works well with the attachment for driveway cleaning, also a SImpson product.

I had previously purchased another version with my neighbor but decided to get my own unit and the P3228S model has a comercial rated Honda GX200 Engine.While it cost more but I believe the eninge and the pump are better and this unit has a better warranty. I had to pay extra for the 15" surface scrubber but it works great for drives, patios and sidewalks. So far I have only used it for about 1 hour but I found it easy to use and to start it. The only problem was the S/N label was missing entirely but Simpson has promised to fix that issue with a proper S/N label.

I bought this washer because it is similar to a unit I have with a Honda GX390 engine. The PS60843 has the same features and is more powerful. I saw negative reviews because of starting issues. Mine popped off first pull and first pull in subsequent uses. My older unit with the Honda engine requires me to pull wand trigger to relieve pressure prior to pulling the cord. I tried pulling cord with no pressure relief on the PS60843 and it popped right off. Don't know why some reviews said it was hard to start. It's a big engine you need some muscle. All in all very happy with unit and price.

Brace yourself before you pull the trigger, this baby will knock you on your butt. I am able to rinse 3 story gables from the ground with just the 30” extension. My 12’ extension wand and the soap nozzle applies the solution to that height. I added a 5000 psi gauge and, sure enough, I get 4400 psi with the Simpson motor using a 100’ hose. The pull cord location is a little awkward. The entire unit wants to turn as you pull. I put my foot on the wheel to hold it still but watch that you don’t damage the valve stem like I did. I wish it had an optional battery starter, I’m in good shape and I have to pull real hard for a one-pull start. When shutting it off, bring the wand back to the machine with you because you need to pull the trigger to release pressure if it doesn’t start on the first pull. The unit is well balanced and easy to roll up a ramp into my van. This unit paid for itself with one job. Of corse it was a big place...

So far so good, got it home and put together with no issues. Came with motor oil so we could go right to work. I only use non ethanol fuel in all my small engines and it ran fine. I was disappointed that I had to download the manual for the washer but glad the engine manual came with it. Not a fan of the hose connections, I prefer quick connects hoses. Initial impression is good I am not sure I am getting the pressure I should have so I will be checking it with a inline gauge. With all that said it is a residential pressure washer and not commercial and works well.

Purchased for home use and unit is great. Commercial Honda engine and triple piston pump are perfect combination. Starts easy and has very good pressure. Purchased the 15" surface scrubber attachment recently and it makes cleaning driveways a quick task.
