I read some reviews, both positive and negative Saw on the negative how poorly packed the product arrived. Did not have that problem AT ALL! I must not be the only one reading them. Great job packing team! Everything is so nice when new I assembled the unit very easily I live in NorCal, so I purchased some ethanol shield to protect my investment (why not?, it’s just $$$ on top of the still high price of Eco friendly fuel, right?) It fired up first pull, nice!! I ran it and it does a great job! Makes ya not wanna put it down The thing started vibrating pretty loudly, so I quit for that day and after it cooled, I checked it out Apparently someone forgot to tighten the flare nuts on two of the motor mounts. 43 cents later, I had a nice running pressure washer, and have had ever since Thanks Simpson

I purchased this unit recently and used it for a couple days. It is very powerful and exceeded my expectations. The engine started with a couple pulls and I had no operational issues. The hose is very heavy duty but is somewhat cumbersome to use. The wand was great and nozzles met my expectations. The one area of improvement could be the hose.

Purchased a couple of weeks ago and just used the unit. I have only used with the Turbo Nozzle and must say Unit started on the first pull, had plenty power and worked perfectly. Would and have already referred to a couple of friends to also purchase. I had quite high expectations and it is always nice to buy something and it works better than anticipated. I am sure I will have many years of Operation!

I’ve been pressure washing houses for about 10 yrs. This is the best washer I have bought. It also comes at a good price. I have had no problem with the Simpson motor. I couldn’t pay for the overpriced Honda motor. From my experience Honda makes a good motor but the pressure washer usually wears out before any motor I’ve ever had. This washer has so much power it is hard to hold onto if you have it at full psi. It does adjust, but does not have a gauge. I just bought a new gauge to see how much power it actually has with my 150 ft hose. Great product, easy to start.

After 3 straight weekends of failures on my old pressure washer I ordered the PS2338-S to replace it. This thing is awesome. Assembly instructions are very well thought out and written. I filled it with oil, filled it with gas, and pulled the cord very lightly and slowly a few times to get the oil and gas flowing inside. On the fourth very light very slow pull the engine started! The engine does backfire when you release the trigger on the lance for the first few uses but after the second or third use it stops doing it, so don’t worry. The included hose that everyone complains about in reviews is in fact stiff, but not in a way that makes it hard to use. I immediately went out and bought the Simpson 50ft braided hose just to have a longer length, nothing wrong with the included hose. My only complaints would be: 1: It’s needs a larger fuel tank for longer jobs. 2: The pressure adjustment knob is too close to the water inlet, it’s not very easy to adjust when the inlet hose is attached. If it was longer, pointed up, or was farther to the left it would be perfect.

Upon opening the box the pressure relief valve was bent with no packaging damage. No problem, Simpson sent one in a couple days. I assembled it and ran it no load (hose connected and flowing) for a half hour. Then changed the engine and pump oil after this period. There was some particulate in the pump oil and the expected silver sheen to the engine oil. Ran it under intermittent loads for a half hour then changed the oils again and now it's good to go. I like the adjustable pressure relief valve feature as it'll come in handy for cleaning more fragile areas that high pressure would tear up. **Buy a 50 foot hose for it as the 25 is too short.

I had previously purchased another version with my neighbor but decided to get my own unit and the P3228S model has a comercial rated Honda GX200 Engine.While it cost more but I believe the eninge and the pump are better and this unit has a better warranty. I had to pay extra for the 15" surface scrubber but it works great for drives, patios and sidewalks. So far I have only used it for about 1 hour but I found it easy to use and to start it. The only problem was the S/N label was missing entirely but Simpson has promised to fix that issue with a proper S/N label.

I am really happy with my purchase although this is the replacement that was sent to me when my first one arrived damaged. I was worried that this one might be a reconditioned one when I smelled gas in the tank. It had also had oil in the engine. But so far it really does the job.

I purchased this unit for my home needs: driveway/patio cleaning, brick siding, deck cleaning etc. This thing is a powerhouse! Assembly was easy and starting is almost a breeze. The PSI and GPM may seem to be a bit much for residential use, but I was concerned more with time in getting a job done. Definitely quicker than a smaller unit and variance in price. Very happy with purchase.

Fantastic pressure washer, only problem is that the needle/seat doesn't seal so it drains the tank into the cylinder and I had to remove the plug and pull the rope to get all the gas out then from that point on I have to close the fuel shut-off valve every time I stop the engine.
