I already have a full-sized cleaner, but so often found myself wanting something smaller to spot treat certain areas in between my full cleans. My favorite feature is how lightweight this unit is. It is very easy to tote around and get where I need it to go. My other favorite feature is how easy it is to clean once I've used it. My full sized cleaner is a pain in the butt, but this one is quick and easy. As far as treating stains it works just as well as my full sized unit and gets the job done. I definitely wouldn't use this for large areas, but it is great for spot treating, upholstery, and cars. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a portable option.

I used this to clean up pet messes, but within a year it had multiple problems. The hose isn't easy to take off and clean, even though I ran clean water through it after every use, and washed and dried every component before storage, it still had a bad smell. Then the water stopped spraying. Then the dirty water started leaking out of every crack, soaking the carpet underneath it. I am so disappointed that a repair would cost just as much as I paid originally.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Little ProHeat Portable Carpet Cleaner was easy to use. The powerful spray and suction was astounding for such a small machine! The extra long cord was an extra plus. The attachments that came with the Bissell made cleaning our cats chair easy, getting into the corners & small spaces. It also came with Bissell Pro Oxy Spot & Stain remover that stuff works great for stains! Cleaning the Bissell was easy but would recommend a small brush (I used toothbrush) to get any pet hair out of the bottom of the machine. Compared to other cleaners used I prefer the smaller portable Bissell because of easy access to furniture crevices, especially with pets. Never heard Of the Bissell Little ProHeat before receiving as a sample for review. I would purchase this product. I will definitely be recommending Bissell Little ProHeat to all my family & friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel Little Green Pro Heat carpet cleaner is a perfect size to carry from room to room or out to your car. I like that the water tanks hold plenty of water, and are easy to fill and empty. It has good suction for sucking up the cleaning fluid or even spills. It comes with 3 tools, one for the stairs, so you can get along the bull nose of the step and in the crevice. One for flat surfaces and one tool to clean the hose. Everything is nicely contained on the unit, which I like, so you always have the tool you need right at arms length. Overall I am happy with this carpet cleaner. I like the ease of carrying it around the house and the portablility to take it to my car. It does a good job of cleaning without having to lug out my large carpet cleaner for smaller clean ups. Although, I am confused by the name "ProHeat", because it doesn't actually heat the water, but says it "helps maintain water temperature. When I put in hot water it does stay hot for the amount of time I needed it to stay hot. The small size with all the pieces contained makes it easy to store on a shelf, in a closet or cabinet. The unit and the tools are also easy to clean up by rinsing under water when you are finished.

I have 4 kids who are always spilling some sort of liquid on my carpets and rugs, and I used to have to get towels out to sop up the mess, which never got it all up. Now, I plug this in, use the suction feature and suck the whole puddle up with ease. It also allows me to scrub up and clean any remaining residue so I don't have horrible little stains everywhere. It holds just the right amount of cleaner which will wash my whole area rug without having to refill. The tanks empty with ease and are simple to rinse out before storing back in the closet. It has been a pleasure to have and I'm never going back to dirtying up towels again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've known about the Little Green machine for years but I didn't realize they had an updated slimmer version until I got this model. Its so lightweight and compact that its not a burden to use or carry around. I stored it easily in a closet and it hardly took up any room. I used it to spot clean a spill on our bedroom carpet and it did a great job. It was easy to use and I have to say the hose rinsing tool is revolutionary! My only critique is that I wish the suction power was a little bit stronger but considering the machines small size, its understandable. I cannot wait to use this on my car's upholstery. I would totally buy this product again and definitely recommend it to anyone that needs a quick carpet cleaning tool. Its great if you have kids or pets.

After the first one broke, I wrote to the company and they sent me out a new one. But, this one also had the same issues as the first one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've have used this product for over a year to clean up after one of my dogs has an accident. It works great until the hose breaks. They don't appear to sell replacement hoses which is a shame. So basically when you buy one, you a renting it for a year and then would have to buy it again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit was very easy to assemble and the instructions were clear and concise. For my initial use, I used it on an upholstered chair that my cat likes to sleep on. I pre-treated the chair seat by spraying on the solution and allowing it to sit for 5 minutes. The cleaning solution was warm going on but had cooled quickly. While extracting the solution, I ended up spraying more on, as the place that is most comfortable to grip the cleaning tool during extraction, is right where the trigger is. The water I extracted was dirty and I had to keep going over and over the area in order to get as much water out as possible. The area was still damp when I finished which was most likely due to the pre-treatment which allowed the solution to soak in deeper than the machine could pull it out. The machine is loud, although the sound is muffled while sitting on the floor. Once you lift it up, however, it sounds like an airplane engine. Did it clean? Yes! I wouldn't recommend using it on big jobs like cleaning your whole couch, but it works great for spot cleaning and small messes.

We used it in the camper as well as the house . We have two dogs and the carpets get stained and dirt deep down .... I was amazed at how well this machine cleaned all the carpet and rugs. It also worked very well on the small stain we had on the couch. It had been there for a couple of months. NOW ITS GONE.
