[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the built in water heater .... It has amazing suction.... You can take this little machine everywhere. We used it in the camper as well as the house . We have two dogs and the carpets get stained and dirt deep down .... I was amazed at how well this machine cleaned all the carpet and rugs. It also worked very well on the small stain we had on the couch. It had been there for a couple of months. NOW ITS GONE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace my trusty 10+ year old little green. First impressions were great - really good spot cleaner, with good suction. But... took it out a couple of weeks ago to address a pet mess. As I sucked up, there was suddenly an unusual amount of water coming out of the hose at the nozzle end. The hose had failed, and had a 1/2" split. Quick check of the failure location showed why - the hose length is just slightly less than it should be. The had always made seating the hose nozzle in its storage spot slightly frustrating, but I always got it back in eventually. However this created stress where the hose bent slightly (the bend location is intentional.) - very clear design flaw. (Quick search online confirmed that other users had encountered the same issue.) I probably used in no more than once a month in the 18 months I had it. Extremely disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only used this once so far on my car seat. Spilled buffalo sauce in the seat. Car smelled of it. Putting it together was easy. Water and cleaner measurement is fail proof. It worked beyond what I expected. You can see all the dirt from the lower part of my car seats (driver and passenger) going into brush and into tank. When spring rolls around I will use it on all my car seats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used it for car mats and dorm room spots. I bought it because it said "Pro Heat" right there on the front. I should've know better as I am in the cleaning business and a heated extractor will cost no less than $700.00 but it's a Bissell and I needed something right away. Pure disappointment when I saw it wasn't a heated unit. It's also a lie that it keeps the warm water warm. This isn't going to happen without a heating element. C'mon Bissell, don't say it's "Pro Heat" and there is no heat.

The product does not heat the water at all. I do not know why they call it ProHeat. I am disappointed, because I could have bought buy any cleaner and this one has a misleading name. I filled it with room temp tap water and it is spraying perfectly cold water. I would not recommend this to anyone else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. The hose has always been stiff but today it snapped. I cannot find a replacement hose. If I'm able to find a replacement hose or replace the machine for a decent cost, I would definitely rebuy and recommend the machine. If I'm not able to do either, then I wouldn't recommend it. It was handy to have for when our cats would get sick or when he wanted to detail cars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cons first because there are far far less: 1) It sprays everywhere - but I've decided this is more of a pro since I can clean a larger area much more quickly. It essentially fans out. Once you know this you can prepare for it which makes the cleaning time faster. 2) The shampoo that comes with it is pricey - it certainly works well but you do have to buy it. I'm not sure if I would have thinned it out with some water if it would have worked as well. 3) The heat element works better some times than others, I think the second time was the time it didn't work as well - the first and third time it worked great. 4) Cleaning the tank can be difficult - it makes me feel gross to see all the debris, but sometimes I have to rinse it several times to get it all out. 5) the sprayer can get clogged and you have to try a few times to jimmy it out. Pro: I have a dog and three little kids but also want a very clean house. This has made life much easier. I have used it in my car and on carpets. Sometimes I would advise putting a towel under it while you are cleaning, to prevent the water solution getting everywhere. All in all, my house is much cleaner. Some pets spots are gone and places that I used to use spot shot are much much cleaner. The spot shot could at times discolor the area and smelled so chemically. This has made life much less of a concern in that I can just get this guy out and take care of it. It doesn't take too long, either -just spot treat it in less than 5 minutes and things are good as new!

It is light and compact so it's pretty easy to carry around and up and down stairs, not clunky nor bulky. Also, it feels very sturdy and well made, more like a reliable tool than a piece of tech, even though it doesn't lack tech advantages like heatwave and a bunch of different accessories and specialized tools for all kinds of situations, angles and places to get clean. Perfect for cleaning small carpet areas and furniture, especially when having pets or kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this product. So I can only speak to first impressions and so far I have only used it on my cream colored couch. So first things first, I will try this on carpet and maybe it works a little better but I think Proheat should be removed from the name. There is no heat, no warmth, the water is cold/lukewarm at best. Most of the reason I wanted this product was due to that factor. Your essentially spraying on cleaner then using a wet dry vac to suck it up. The suction is also extremely poor. You would think a vacuum company would at least be able to do that. The design is also poor. Either wheels should have been added or it should have been designed to be less bottom heavy. Every time you move it slightly while cleaning it topples over. Not a big deal, but definitely a design flaw that could have been easily corrected. I have been cleaning since the age of 8. I have cleaned professionally and take great joy in cleaning personally. I would not recommend this product to anyone. They were almost there but not quite.

I have been meaning to buy one of these for years and don't know why I put it off for so long! The day I got it I cleaned just one section of my couch and was AMAZED and what came off of it. In the past week I've finished my furniture, my van (I have 4 kids plus babysit, so that was no small feat), and the carpets in my kids' rooms. I'm so happy with this purchase! #sweepstakes
