[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel Little Green Pro Heat carpet cleaner is a perfect size to carry from room to room or out to your car. I like that the water tanks hold plenty of water, and are easy to fill and empty. It has good suction for sucking up the cleaning fluid or even spills. It comes with 3 tools, one for the stairs, so you can get along the bull nose of the step and in the crevice. One for flat surfaces and one tool to clean the hose. Everything is nicely contained on the unit, which I like, so you always have the tool you need right at arms length. Overall I am happy with this carpet cleaner. I like the ease of carrying it around the house and the portablility to take it to my car. It does a good job of cleaning without having to lug out my large carpet cleaner for smaller clean ups. Although, I am confused by the name "ProHeat", because it doesn't actually heat the water, but says it "helps maintain water temperature. When I put in hot water it does stay hot for the amount of time I needed it to stay hot. The small size with all the pieces contained makes it easy to store on a shelf, in a closet or cabinet. The unit and the tools are also easy to clean up by rinsing under water when you are finished.

We have a new puppy who is not fully trained so I bought this to clean up his messes. I cleaned a spot on the basement carpet and could not believe how gross the rest of the carpet is but more importantly how CLEAN the carpet was after using this little machine.

Literally every single one just dumps its entire contents of disgusting water all over the floor. Its due to the poor design of the valve that is supposed to keep the water in, but get a single hair or grain of sand in it and it traps it open allowing the water to flow out. There is no solution to this, the design should be scraped and this product recalled.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today I opened up the BISSELL Little Green Proheat carpet and upholstery cleaner and tried it out on some rug spots by my front door. When I took it out of the box, it was easy to assemble, and it comes with a few attachments. Even the 3 in 1 stair tool! Once I filled the container with water and the supplied formula, I just attached the 3" tough stain tool and pre-treated the spots for 5 minutes. I then cleaned it with the tough stain tool, and as you can see from the pictures, the spots are gone! I love how small this cleaner is too, because I don't need a lot of space for it. This is super easy to use, it cleans upholstery, stairs & more! It even comes with a self cleaning hose tool to rinse out the hose when done. Highly recommended!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need to clean the kitchen rugs and my car upholstery. Cord too short and not flexible so I have to turn the device so back faces me where cord is attached. Because of that you hear the loud vacuum sound directly in your face and directed at you. It is a bit loud. Also since a quarter so short and flexible it tipped over in my car and spilled the dirty water all over. Because they contain itself isn't tip proof from spilling. Cardoso doesn't wrap around like it should for storage like the photos. When removing the dirty container it's a challenge to safely dump without spilling all over. It's difficult for them to dry out because where you remove the water has Divet so the water doesn't fully leave the container . It definitely cleaned what I needed but it was a pain in the butt. All these problems it's obvious they care about how it looked and if it cleaned but didn't test it in live applications to see that the usability of it is awful. It's really not user-friendly at all. It's frustrating but it gets the job done.

Because of the high rating and positive reviews, I thought I'd give the Little Green Proheat a try on my dingy stairs. They have been professionally cleaned with mediocre results. To my surprise, they look amazing after just one cleaning. My off-white carpet looks 90 percent better and feels clean and soft again.. Though the suction is not incredible, with a bit of elbow grease, you can extract most of the water, leaving the carpet just a little damp. It was shocking but very satisfying to see the amount of dirt that came out in the water! I'm sure with another cleaning, the stairs may look close to new after 20 years. Note that this machine does not actually heat the water but retains its temperature. I started with hot tap water and it stayed hot for the entire cleaning (using the maximum fill line, which did six stairs). My only complaint is that the hose material is not very flexible, so I can foresee the problem that others have had with cracking at the base.

I have the pet pro heat wave cleaner that stopped maintaining heat. After a phone call with the customer service department, they agreed to ship me a replacement. I hadn't received an update on my replacement in a week. When I emailed Bissell to find out the status, William quickly emailed me back with a status update, tracking, and most importantly, empathy. It was great to get speedy service, but what really stuck out was the personalized care. Most big companies have gone automated, and I much prefer to work with companies with real people, serving real people. William was extremely pleasant and helpful and because of my experience, I will be more inclined to buy Bissell products in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They fooled me. It's called Proheat so I assumed the water would be heated. It's not. So it doesn't evaporate/dry or clean as well as if it would with hot water. I would not buy again. And it leaks. Heat shouldn't be part of the name if there is no heating involved. The instructions say fill with hot tap water... :(

Of course, it's portable so it's not suitable for an entire room, but for things like spot stains, pet stains, rugs and furniture, the Bissell little green proheat is perfect! What a capable little machine this is. Its super powerful for being so lightweight. This thing is a must have if you have pets or kids. Cleans up stains in a jiffy! Can't say enough great things about the little green pro heat. I would definitely purchase again and recommend it to anyone!

The Little Green Proheat is a small carpet cleaner, which makes it ideal for small stains or small areas - like for cleaning upholstery or stairs. We do have a full size cleaner that we use about once a year in the whole house, but this little guy seems to be a little nice addition to our cleaning routine since we can use to tackle small messes in a more frequent basis. In order to try it, I used it in the portion of the carpet where my dog loves to lay down. I was amazed at how much pet hair the brush caught, and the water came out completely dirty. So even though it looked clean, the area was definitely not clean. I was not aware of this product prior to trying it, but it's my new favorite carpet cleaner, and I would definitely recommend it, especially if you have pets (or small kids) that tend to make small messes around the house.
