I am going to experiment with making my own detergent, however, as the one Bissell sells is pretty expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i absolutely love this product! the directions for set up are easy to follow and took me less than 30 minutes total. it's perfect for small trouble areas as well as some bigger surfaces (like my couch). i've had a stain on my carpet for over 10 years and within one use i saw a major difference with the stain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty good cleaner for car interiors. It takes a lot more time than I had originally thought, and a lot more cleaning solution as well. I used the entire sample bottle that came with the cleaner and I had only finished half of my SUV interior. Luckily I found a DIY recipe online for the solution that I find works better than the sample solution. It also is much cheaper than the sample one (sorry Bissell).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to clean my 10 year old couches, which unfortunately it does not work great on. I think this is more due to my couches having loose fabric rather than the cleaner itself. Only true downside to the design is the drainage hole for the clean water reservoir. It is on the side and quite small, thus you cannot pour all the water out of it after use and takes forever to dry for putting it away.
