So old fridge gave up after 20 years. Sticker shock on prices of new one's. I was going to cheap out with a basic side by side. Wife went withe me and we ended up with this LG for quite a bit more money. After three weeks and learning all the features the extra $$$ was well worth it. Works well and is awesome. Would buy again

Our previous refrigerator was on its last legs, so we were excited to get a new LG one. The best feature is the depth and capacity, as there is plenty of room for what we need for our family and with the design, it’s easier to find and grab items. We also love the dual ice makers in the door and in the freezer. Another cool feature is being able to link to the LG ThinQ app which allows us to monitor temperatures, be alerted if a door is left open, and program energy-saving features. We arranged delivery, removal (of old), and installation through LG and were very satisfied with the service. The team was professional and friendly, installed fairly quickly, gave us some quick tips (e.g. replace water filter every 6 months and dump the 1st 2.5 gals water for best results), and answered all of our questions. Smart Standard Depth MAX French Door Refrigerator with Duel Ice Makers in PrintProof Stainless Steel, I love the the overall design, large double doors, the fruit crispers, and meat keepers, the large ready tray drawer. But.. I wish It had come with the “folding “ shelf. But I did figure out how to adjust the shelves on the right side, so all is well. As for the in door ice maker it’s supposed to be craft ice! It is not it is mini ice so I would say this is false advertising! The freezer ice maker is as expected.. the freezer is large, the top tray is easy to slide, the big bottom tray, has a divider.. Overall a fantastic Refrigerator again except for the fact it didn’t come with the craft ice as advertised! LG should make this right by changing it out in all the Refrigerators.it’s one of the main features I purchased this model.

It has compact bins where I am able to organize and even includes an ice dispenser where my children are able to access cool water immediately. The sleek, modern design not only adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen but also seamlessly fits in with my other appliances. The energy-efficient LED lighting inside makes it easy to find what I need, and the adjustable shelves provide flexibility for larger items. The temperature control is precise and reliable, keeping everything fresh and perfectly chilled. Plus, the door alarms are a great feature for ensuring it’s always closed properly. After the first few days, this refrigerator greatly exceeded our expectations for our refrigerator upgrade. After waiting a few hours from plugging it in, we already had ice in the freezer compartment and our water was flowing freely. The refrigerator is extremely spacious and the freezer compartment is just as spacious. Although it’s not a necessity, we also connected the refrigerator to the ThinQ app to help monitor the status of our fridge and update for all energy saving modes. The water dispenser is user-friendly (for those not used to having a water dispenser on their fridge) and set up was a breeze. We also greatly appreciated the advice from the install team to be sure to replace the filter every 6 months for the water dispenser. I would highly recommend this product to anybody looking to invest in a quality refrigerator for their kitchen!!

Just got this today and right off the bat I didn't realize that it was much deeper than a standard depth I had before. It was about 4" deeper than my last 36" wide LG standard depth. It just barely fit down my hallway to the kitchen even with the doors removed. Overall I am loving the look of the fridge and interior space is good. However the door bins while deep aren't that adjustable in that I cannot fit taller ingredient bottles except for the lowest bin where it's meant to fit milk jugs. Connect features are cool and it's good to get door ajar notifications in case some didn't close a door and left. Biggest peeve so far is the light for the water and ice dispenser is really dim. I hope something is wrong there because it's so fun that it's barely noticeable even at night. Is it possible it was installed incorrectly after they removed it?

Ice machine - Our last one took a long time to make ice and did not make very much, but this one makes ice very quickly! The kids love the crushed ice setting AND the additional ice machine in the freezer section has been great during this very hot summer. 2. Lots of Storage - With a family of 5, space is always needed and with this fridge, there is plenty of space for snacks, fresh produce, and beverages. The storage bins are large which is helpful with the amount of fresh fruit and veggies we purchase and there is plenty of shelf space for all of our condiments. 3. Look of the fridge - I love the look of the fridge. It is sleek and fits in very nicely with our other appliances stainless steel appliances.
