A Sturdy Shower Chair

I purchased this shower chair in order to bathe my infirm wife. It is quite sturdy and the side arms make it easy for her to lower herself down and up, even when she is wet. No tools are needed for assembly; however, the directions for first step -- putting together the cross bars -- are a little confusing. But juggling them around a little should solve the problem. I feel the chair is well worth the money.

Great product for shower

Read the reviews stating that this chair was difficult to assemble. I did not find that to be the case. I felt I just needed to read each instruction several times and follow the pictures given in the instructions. My husband says the chair is very helpful to him. If I needed another one, I would buy this one. It was even delivered earlier than promised.

So happy I bought this chair.

I'm actually using this chair to sit at the mirror in my bathroom. The chair is perfect for that because I'm able to adjust the height of the chair. I'm preparing for knee surgery so it's hard to get up and down from a regular chair. I've even used the chair in my bedroom to help get dressed. At the highest height, I'm able to sit and put my slacks on. I'm so glad I decided to give this chair a try. It worked perfectly.

BEST SHOWER CHAIR!

Purchased this chair for my 88 year old father. He is 6' tall, and with the adjustable chair legs set at the highest position, he can easily go from sitting to standing. Very solid chair, the handles and back support are another added convenience. My Dad weighs 200 pounds, and the chair is rated for 350 pounds. Best shower chair!

Medline Guardian Bath ChairLightweight, perfect size. Arms come odd easily if you need to place in shower. Only drawback is arms fit a little loosely in sides so a little wobbly. I can put a toothpick inside the tube and should ,especially it from wobbling.

Simple assembly, seems very good

I just got my chair today and put it together in less than 15 minutes. It really is a no-brainer when you look at the parts. Although, I should have used my brain a little better as on the first go-round I put the back bars facing down instead of up and had to them off and turn them around. LOL A contortionist couldn't have made that work! I'm 65 and did it super simple. I gave it 4 stars simply because I haven't used it in the shower yet. I did sit on it and it seems pretty sturdy. I'm confident at this point it was a good buy. When I got it put together right it looks just like the picture. I like that it's adjustable height too. A word of caution if you are using this in a bathtub shower. You must measure the distance between the legs to make sure that it fits inside your tub. I almost made that mistake before reading someone else's review! It does fit in my tub with little room to spare, but that's okay. It works!

I ordered this for my Husband- Very sturdy and easy to put together- We have a very old, large tub and the sides slope a little but the chair fits perfect. We received it sooner then was projected. Husband is 6' and 200lbs works great Would buy it again!!

Feels secure. Easy to adjust the height. A little more complicated to assemble that I expected, but not bad. I learned that the tub was narrower at the bottom than at the top, but the chair still fits well enough. I also learned that the tub floor isn't completely level, so the chair wobbles a bit. Even so, I'm satisfied with the purchase. The chair is lightweight; easy to move in and out of the tub.

Back it goes

This chair is ridiculously small and I can see how would hold a 350 pound person simply because they would NEVER fit in the chair! Very disappointed and I will be returning this on my next trip to the club!
