Ground turkey sounds like a healthy alternative.....until there are bone fragments in every bite. I've bought JennieO turkey before and had bone pieces in my spaghetti sauce, but thought I'd give the product another shot....NOPE! My turkey chili is ruined due to this awful company who obviously doesn't care about its product quality or the people who consume their food. Well, NO MORE! I will no longer be buying anything related to JennieO or Hormel and will tell everyone I know to do the same.

Buyer beware!!! It says lean, but is actually a high fat food. Check the label when you get home. It isn’t 2.5g of fat per serving. It’s actually 8g (the label photo is wrong) and this product has almost 50% of it’s calories from fat. You might as well eat beef.

So I usually LOVE Jennie-O products. I recently bought two batches because I'm on a strict diet. 99% lean ground turkey. Each meal I've had I've chewed on at least 1-2 tiny pieces of bone that were ground into the turkey. It makes me sick thinking I have to eat this and knowing there may be a bite of bone in it. I do feed to my kids sometimes, and now I feel like I can't.

Weight has always been very consistent, but my latest purchase of two 2-packs (total 10 lbs) was short by about 1.5oz on each 2.5 lb package for a total shortage of 6oz. This was using the same scale as I have for some time, and the weights have always been almost exactly as listed on the label. If you expect to make 40 burger patties, you will be disappointed and have overpaid by $1.19

I have even had people eat my food that say they don't like ground Turkey and I tell them they do cause that's all I use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never had ate ground Turkey until my son brought me Jennie•O after I had vsg surgery. I haven't stop buying it. It stay juicy and not dry. Best thing you can create so many different dishes and and not worry about the fat because it does behave no fat.

I buy 12 lbs of ground turkey a month and can not use this product because of Rosemary. The only reason to add Rosemary is to try to disqiuse that the meat isn't fresh and prolong the shelf life at the grocer. Rosemary ruins most recipies and can not be used for pet food. Sadly the only store here that carries fresh ground turkey without Rosemary is Sprouts. So every month I have to make a special trip there. I have to say it is worth it because it always tastes fresh and they don't need to disquise their ground turkey with rosemary.

I buy this brand frequently at Publix so I was excited to see it at Sams club. I bought two packages and they both tasted awful. No matter how much I seasoned them and what kind of meal it was, the meat still tasted off. I had to thrown away full dinner meals because of this meat. Very wasteful and disappointing.

I have used ground turkey for tacos, meatballs, hamburgers, chili and all are delicious . My family loves Jennie-O!!
