I love to buy this for pizza. You can make several pizza's and the price of cheese doesn't run your bill up so much. I wish they did make one with the philidelphia cream cheese inside though.

I have bought this type of cheese for years. The last 2 packages the cheese just doesn't melt. I use it for pizza and it just doesn't melt. When using it in a casserole, it doesn't melt and combine. It just turns into a glob.

This cheese has a grainy, dry texture, does not melt well, and has a bland flavor. The other large packages: the 4 Cheese Mexican and also the cheddar Monterey Jack grated cheese are excellent.

This cheese tastes gross. It has the same consistency as dominos pizza cheese..... It's just like moosh in your mouth. It's going on a ride to the landfill.

Worst cheese ever. For so many years, I have bought Kraft shredded cheese... Since Sam's doesn't sell Kraft shredded cheese anymore, I tried Member's Mark shredded cheese. But it was the wrong decision ever. I put it on top of pasta. It was supposed to go in the oven and melt over the pasta, but it didn't. The cheese looked plastic and rubbery, and had no cheesy taste at all. I do not recommend it to anybody.

I have avoided buying this cheese because even I the bag it doesn't LOOK good. I broke down and bought a bag recently because they have apparently stopped carrying any name brand of "regular" (as opposed to "gourmet") mozzarella. Well I was right. This cheese is worthless. It won't melt properly because there isn't enough fat in it for proper melting. It doesn't brown for much the same reason. Because it doesn't melt properly, it doesn't blister. Because it doesn't blister, it doesn't brown. You need enough elasticity for blistering to occur but since it won't melt properly (because there is not enough fat in it) it can't blister. The only hope is to brush the top of the cheese with olive oil so there's enough oil to facilitate melting, blistering, and finally browning. I don't know that even that will help at all, but I'm buying some olive oil to give it a try. I'm not hopeful that it has enough elasticity given its obvious lack in all other departments. And I'm not kidding. It tastes like nothing. I would liken it to chewing rubber, but rubber has some flavor. This cheese packs down in the bag so you end up with a weird lump in the bottom of the bag. This is the worst mozzarella I can remember ever buying. I will NEVER buy this cheese again. It may be cheap, but so is Velveeta.

They changed the flavor, color and texture. Will look for another brand from now on.

Great price. Melts really well added to the top of pizza...ooy gooey :-) Great mozzarella taste.
