Not a good purchase

This bird tasted like it walked across the desert for days to the processing plant! Tough, dry, and absolutely no flavor! Ended up throw up ing away almost half, and that has never happened in my house Going back to a Butterball Turkey for Christmas

I’ve been roasting turkeys for over 50 years. l thought I had done something wrong in preparing the turkey. I just read the reviews and quite a few have the Same complaint. The turkey was very dry and tough.😩Was very disappointed with this turkey Even in soup it was dry hard and tasteless.

One day before Thanksgiving I purchased two 20 lb turkeys. Cooked the first 20-pounder Thanksgiving Day on 350 for 4 and 1/2 hours till the internal temperature was 165. Had to throw the turkey away it was that tough couldn't even cut into it. Put the second one in the next day. Injected it with butter and brined it overnight. It came out even worse than the first one. Not sure how this happened I've never had to back-to-back turkeys come out this tough.

I will never buy a Turkey from Sam’s again!

Cooked it as I always have cooked a turkey. Meat was tough as shoe leather.

This was the worst turkey I ever cooked, It was tough, no taste.
