To my surprise I accidentally ordered a Thanksgiving Rooster from the farm and not a turkey. A Thanksgiving Capon if you will. My families an “OG, never steer from tradition type family” so to my dismay, it was a no go on the farm Rooster “Al Capon” Now, out of sheer panic the night before the big day- I had to run to Sam’s- found this turkey and left it on my brothers door step for him to cook up. This was actually really juicy and tender. I’d buy this every year. It did have a bruise on its breast the size of a nickel, but that could’ve been from me punching it out of excitement that I actually find a turkey.

I knew when it said 16-24 pounds I was risking both a 16 or 24 lb bird lol I got a 23.3 pounder! My husband deep fried it with love and Cajun goodness and it was devoured and adored by all!

This turkey was the centerpiece of our Thanksgiving meal. I am not a fan of turkey but this bird was excellent. Great price and great taste! I did soak it in saltwater for several hours and my wife seasoned the outside. I made the stuffing and stuffed the turkey. Was a fine meal for sure.

The turkeys were a great value, which enabled us to serve over 45 people who may not have been able to celebrate Thanksgiving otherwise! They cooked up wonderfully, and tasted great too!

Two turkeys were cooked to be tender and moist in our NuWave cookers. Yum, a golden finish. I appreciated being able to pick the size of turkey as the NuWave holds a 10 lb. turkey best. We also bought a 16 pound turkey to spatchcock and cook in the oven. The spatchcock turkey followed Rachel Ray's guidelines and was also tender and moist. Preparation begins with a 24 hour marinating soak of our own special concoction. This ensures flavor and cooks deliciously.

I bought this turkey for Thanksgiving. There were six of us for dinner so I got a 12 pounder. plenty of meat for everyone of us, and it was one of the most juiciest and moist turkeys that we had ever had before. I got it because it was a young turkey and because it had no antibiotics. Was a very good buy. would definitely buy again. I’m buying another one for Christmas.

This was above the mass market brands. The dark meat was almost purple under the skin. However, even with brining, basting, and shielding the breast meat, the white meat was still dry.

I ordered an 18-20 lb turkey. All they had was 12 lb turkeys. Of course I was not told ahead of time. I got two, 12 lb turkeys. I cooked one only, thank goodness. It was terrible. Very dry and tough. Won’t be buying another turkey at Sam’s.

Was looking forward to a a spatchcock turkey for thanksgiving and luckily I had opened a couple of days early, bird was heavily bruised on both sides from slaughter and also had freezer burn smell. Return was not a problem but WOW! Not impressed and would not recommend this product.

This Turkey was the worst Turkey I ever cooked. It was tough and very hard to cut. Fortunately I had purchased a carving ham also to have with our dinner because the Turkey was pretty much inedible. Everyone was struggling to cut it and it had to be cut into baby bite pieces in our to try to eat it. It went in the trash.
