Poorly made

As other people have written. Faulty shocks, chair leans right, push button lock system is a joke and has torn out on both sides. Lazyboy will not honor 10yr warranty except for the air shock.. which still leaves the chair useless! This chair isn't even two years old!

Back Locking Pins are Horrible

My wife purchased this chair yesterday 122019 as a Christmas present. It is a beautiful chair and seams comfortable. However, the back of the chair has two pins to lay the back down on the seat. After ONE DAY, the back does not lock in place and makes a popping sound when you lean forward or back in the chair. The pins are smaller than the hole, so it's tearing up the aluminum on the arms. This is a horrible design. Why would you need to lay the seat back down anyway? Chair is rated at 350lb. I'm only 230lb, so I can only imagine what a bigger guy would do to this chair. I do not recommend this chair and will be returning. Too bad to. It seams comfortable and has a great warranty. I just don't want to have the hassle of another noisy chair!!!

Excellent chair but..

This chair was great. It was comfortable, tall enough and sleek. A few days after using it, I noticed it started to lean to the right. I called the manufacturer regarding the issue and they informed me it would take 4-6 weeks for replacement parts. I ended up returning the chair. I wish it would have worked out.

Returned

Broke within 1 month Very disappointed! The back was the first thing to give out, the the seat. Hardly used it. Not sure if La-z-boy has gone down hill or if this is a knock off but was returned within 1 month and glad that I had purchased the extended warranty. Shame because it is a very nice looking and comfortable chair

Got less than a year out of it, poor quality

I bought this chair for everyday use. Arm material started deteriorating in about 6 months. Gas cylinder support post started giving out in a couple months, chair sinks to the lowest position. Manufacturer sent new post, couple months later started sinking again. Chair feels like it's leaning forward and you're going to slip out of it. Just all around junk. One of the worst chairs I've ever bought.

Don't waste your money

I purchased this at Sams club and unfortunately, as is typical of Sam's, there were no options not made in China. The chair is comfortable and fits my large frame. I was wondering what the "soft bonded leather" description meant. Now I know. This is plastic and "leather" is untrue. As you can see, the plastic is flaking off and I soon will be sitting on the fabric underlayment. A total disappointment as it looks terrible.

More like 10 Month warranty, not worth 1 star

I bought this on 4/9/2020, today the chair totally failed! I mean snapped off and I toppled over! Spent 30 minutes waiting on the phone only to get disconnected. The armrests were beginning to crack too. I'll let the picture explain. I weigh 275 lbs, so under the limit. ***DO NOT BUY***

Chair is good if you don't use it. Bad leather

La-Z-boy big & tall Executive Chair claims it is commercial quality. However, the leather is a joke. After 2-year working from home, the leather peel out at arm and seat. Chair becomes the picture you can see. The chair claims 10 year warranty, but not include the leather. This is a good chair if you do not use it. Don't buy it.

Defective design broke after 1Yr

After 1yr & 3 months the back rest mechanism that connects to the right arm rest fell apart through the leather. At least the comfort was solid while it lasted. 200dlls for a little more than 1yr of service. Lazyboy 10yr warranty doesn't work without a receipt :-(

A no go

This chair is about a year old and the gas shaft breaks off the base of the seat, hung up on by customer service of True Innovations 3 times after holding 30+ min each time when im calling # 19. emailed them several times no response or resolve. Stuck with broke chair
