Returned

Broke within 1 month Very disappointed! The back was the first thing to give out, the the seat. Hardly used it. Not sure if La-z-boy has gone down hill or if this is a knock off but was returned within 1 month and glad that I had purchased the extended warranty. Shame because it is a very nice looking and comfortable chair

2 of these were purchased-don’t waste your money!

We purchased 2 of these chairs. 1 for my husband that works from home & 1 for our son that was a student. They both completely fell apart. Over $200 each & the leather is completely flaking off. They are horrible & leave super thin “leather” strips all over the floor. This cannot be leather. It’s paper thin finish that does not last. The arms start wearing first, then the seat & the back. Then to top it off the squeak & pop horribly. My husband will be in a conference call & they cannot even here him over this chair. We have a blanket in the chair now to cut down in some of the flaking. These are both going in the trash. So completely disappointed in these chairs & will not buy another office chair at Sam’s. They were so comfortable in the store, I do not see how these are the same finish.

Back doesn’t stay locked

I have been using the chair for a couple of months. It is comfortable but the back keeps falling back. It’s like the screws are not long enough. You can be sitting in the chair and just hear them pop out. I’m afraid it will cause me to fall or that it will fall on my small dog who likes to stay by my side while I’m working. Would like to know if there is a way to fix this issue as $200 is a lot to pay for a chair that doesn’t work properly.

Chair back flimsily mounted to arms

I bought this chair in Sept of 2020, it is comfortable but from day 1 I was skeptic of the "Tool-less" assembly. I use it sparingly and after about a month the seat back was starting to feel loose. I double checked the tightness of the screws that it pivots on and they were tight. It has slowly gotten worse (only because of the little use it gets) and is now to the point of falling apart if I were to lean into the seat back (which I rarely do anyway). Needless to say, this will be going back to Sam's for a refund ASAP!

Will see what service is received

Chair purchased 12/2019. Was fine up until 2 or 3 months ago. I had purchased this for my son who is about 250 pounds. The stitching in the seat is coming apart and the material is beginning to come out. I sent pictures of it to the email for customer service as well my Sams club receipt just yesterday. Reading the reviews I'm really leery that I will get any response at all from them. I will keep you posted if they actually respond or do anything.

I was disappointed the first day, the only reason I gave 1 star was because they did not have negative stars to give. The base of the seat wobbles side to side and is not usable. The hydraulics would just collapse out of the blue. I didn't however have any problems with the leather material. Would not recommend this chair ever.

Liked It So Much We Bought Another One

We bought this Lazy Boy chair in the brown color. Got it home, assembled it in less than 10 minutes with no tools. Absolutely comfortable to sit in and very supportive. Like the high back. The chair tilts and pivots as expected. Liked it so much that we bought a second in in the black color. We can't speak to longevity yet, but for the price, if we get a few years out of this chair it's a tremendous value at the current Sam's Club price. For those who complain that the synthetic leather wears out after a year or two, to get genuine leather would cost 5 times as much. We use this chair for hours daily, so the comfort alone is worth the price.

Did not last long

I purchased this because it was bigger, wider and seemingly more comfortable in the store. After only a few months the chair began to tile to one side. The frame was bending. Also, after 6 months the cushions began to fray exposing the foam inside. Also, I began to notice the seat was less dense and I could feel the frame after about half hour of sitting. Less than a year after purchase, I threw it away. It is a nice chair very cheaply made and did not last. I don't think I will ever purchase another La-Z-Boy china made chair

Not a good chair

The seat on this chair doesn’t angle back like most chairs. It’s very level, and actually feels like it pitches forward. I’ve had this chair since July, and the padding already feels likes it’s worn out, I can feel the frame under the padding. I’m also starting to get sciatic pain from sitting in it. Actively looking for a new chair. Wish I could return this one but i think I’ve had it too long. Would not recommend this chair.
