Great basic washer

My wife bought this. She wanted a basic model without all the bells and whistles. She likes the agitator and quiet motor. She has been happy with the purchase.

Quiet washer. Good features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with my purchase of this washer. My previous washer was verry loud and made all kinds of weard noises. This LG washer is much much better.

Super Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great. Gets the clothes cleaner than before. A few too many options so I haven't tried all of them yet. There was an installation issue but that wasn't the washer's fault.

If you order this be ready to put up with 3rd party delivery non-sense. the date of delivery is not the date of delivery. they text the day before and ask you to confirm the date by scheduling it on a calendar that is grayed out for the day and day after it was supposedly supposed to deliver. Then when you call Sam's customer service they can't do anything until after the delivery date misses. If you accept a later date just to get it scheduled then it is no longer late because it is the date that you chose. This is a very deceptive practice.

Trying to like it but not winning

I've had this machine for almost a year now and I cannot figure out why it doesn't wash well! The amount of powder residue I have on clothes is unbelievable. I switched from my front loader to a top loader with agitator because of research, thinking I was doing the right thing, but this machine does not. Clothes don't get wet enough, everything gets pasted in a bundle and residue no matter how I add the soap, shows up on everything. This machine has become more work for me than anything I've had and I really would like a replacement. I have tried everything. Help me out LG I'm trying to be a supporter.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the WT6105CW. We’re sorry to hear that the washer has not been performing as expected and understand how frustrating it must be to deal with residue and cleaning concerns, especially after trying different methods. For this type of concern, we recommend ensuring that the load size is appropriate and evenly distributed, as overloading or tightly packed items can prevent proper water circulation. Using the correct amount and type of detergent (HE detergent only) is also important, as too much detergent can lead to residue buildup. You may also try selecting a cycle with a higher water level or using an extra rinse option to help improve rinsing performance. If the issue persists despite these adjustments, a service inspection may be helpful to further assess the unit and ensure it is operating properly. We truly appreciate your feedback and your willingness to continue supporting LG—it means a lot to us. Extremely POOR design!!

When you allow the machine sensor to determine the water level, shine of the clothes do not even get completely wet. I have to use the deep wash on every load. Each load takes an entire HOUR! That is double the time of my old washer. It also requires that three tub be put through a cleaning cycle periodically which means you have to buy product to clean the tub(if you don't, your clothes will start to smell bad!) Horrible washers in the market today. The older models are SO much better

Look for something else

This is the absolute WORST washing machine I have ever owned. About all it does is get the stink out of clothes (and that is probably because I use a vinegar rinse to cut any remaining detergent residue left after it rinses). If an item goes in with dirt on it, it will come out with a stain -even if pretreated. It is suppose to have a "smart" water level detection but I have found if I use anything but the deep fill, this machine does not put in enough water to get the whole load wet. I have had this machine for less than 1 yr and I am looking for a replacement (front loader next time). I am more than willing to take the hit for what I paid for this LG machine. So disappointed.

Worst Washer I've Owned

If you love sorting laundry, doing multiple small loads, and replacing your knits frequently, then perhaps this washer is for you. The glass lid is key - you can see the problems. The tub spins at the start of the cycle, making clothes bunch at the edge of the tub. This means that the Normal water level doesn't rise high enough to even wet all the clothes in a small to medium load. The fabric wicks water, so if you're not watching, you'll think at the end of the cycle that all the garments were actually washed in soapy water, but no. Same with a load of 4 towels. The agitator action in Normal mode pulls hard on knit sleeves and hems, stretching the garments. Knits need to be washed on Delicate but with Deep Fill water to wet everything, which means extra time. In the Deep Wash cycle, water covers a load of 4 towels because the entire tub fills with water, about twice what's needed. Clothes in any cycle come out wet, which increases dry time.

Hi. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG Washer. Your detailed description of how the tub spins at the start of the cycle, how clothing bunches along the edges, and how the water level doesn’t always rise enough to fully wet the load gives a very clear picture of what you’ve been seeing with the LG unit. Your notes about knit garments stretching, the need to use Deep Fill for proper saturation, and the longer dry times also help highlight how the cycles have been performing for you. To allow us to properly investigate the details of your specific product model and to see how we can assist with your wash‑performance‑ and water‑level‑related issue being encountered, please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com if you need further assistance. Not enough water. Or too much!

As other users have found, the dishwasher does not add enough water to cover the clothes on the normal cycle. If I use deep washer bedding, the washer fills to the very brim and that’s a waste of water. My particular machine does not have an add water feature. Also, the soap dispenser cup fills with water and it never drains. So I’m left with nearly a cup of water sitting in the machine after a cycle. There’s no easy way to remove the container and dump the water. It ends up dumping into the bottom of the basket, which can contribute to mold. It also makes a strong chugging sound, even when the load is still in water is draining. It’s almost like a recording so we feel the washing machine is doing a vigorous job. I’d look for another washer if I were to do it over again. no problems with the dryer.

Terrible Delivery Experience

I purchased this on May 9th. It was scheduled for delivery Friday May 24th. No communication from Sam's. I called the morning of scheduled delivery. I was advised by the online support line that if it doesn't show up in 3 days...call back. The price point matches several competitors. The advantage is the inclusion of delivery, installation and hauling the old one away. I am now at Monday Memorial day...with no washer, and no idea when they think they might be inclined to deliver it. It appears that as far as the added bonuses of being a Sam's Club member....you get what you pay for.
