[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this to try before the holidays to really give those final touches to my home before our guests arrive. Assembly wasn't the easiest, even though they include step by step picture instructions. The pieces don't fit perfectly together, so k spent a good bit of time second guessing myself. The cleaning power left something to be desired. Our carpets were cleaned about 6 months ago professionally, but we do have a 13 month old, so accidents happen. However, this did not seem to get up basic entry way marks. I will continue to try it & see if there maybe is something that can be tweaked & make it more effective, but for now, I have to leave it at "nice to have, but not something I'd recommend."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't my first carpet cleaner so I know what I like. It was fairly simple to set up. The biggest issue is making sure everything aligned so it has suction. The handle was a little tricky to get into place. It required a little effort to push but once I got going it wasn't so bad. I loved that my carpets were 90% dry after I was done. I wish the water tank and solution could be separate to allow you to do a rinse of the carpet without dumping the tank. Overall this is a great entry carpet cleaner but I prefer the Hoover Smartwash better.

I had no idea there was so much crud hidden in my rugs either. This thing was like upgrading to a Cadillac from a yugo! Definitely worth the purchase.

The powerscrub was very easy to assemble out of the box. We have a dog and cat and the deep clean setting worked great cleaning up their messes. We had a 10 year old Hoover carpet cleaner that worked great too and we really liked and it got a lot of use. But it was time for a new one. The improvements made in the powerscrub cleaner are noticeable in every way. From the high quality materials to the powerful motor and suction of the unit. It was easy to use and clean up afterwards. I had an older model and thought that I had something good already, but this new one decimated my old one in terms of cleaning capabilities. The unit came in parts and was really easy to assemble. I did not think it would be so simple and easy to pit together but it was 4 screws and done. That was all it took to get started. I cleaned my entire house in 2 hours and the water and dirt that came up was astonishing. The water was so dirty! This unit has set new expectations of cleaning for me. I don't think anything can even compete. 13/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my fair share of carpet cleaners. They break, they leak, they clog.. basically they don't last. So far, this one has proved me wrong. This is one of the best ones I have owned. I have cleaned all my floors and with a cat and dog that never stops shedding, this is the best carpet cleaner around. I have not had any issues with this machine getting clogged, and the best part, its extremely easy to use and clean when I am done. I am small and sometimes these machines can be hard to use. This is easy! It does take strength, but again, not like others I have used. This has picked up more hair and cleaned more dirt out of my carpet than I have ever seen. I love the extra tools it comes with. I have also cleaned my furniture with this and my couch and chairs look brand new. They look so clean and fresh. My furniture hasn't looked this good since I brought it home and then had it professionally cleaned. Overall, I am so impressed with this Hoover carpet cleaner. Its been a dream and my carpets and furniture look fabulous. I highly recommend this over any others!

The only thing I see as problematic is how much solution is required. I will probably just make my own. Overall very pleased with this product. Our animals also were not afraid of it and it seems to pick up pet hair.

The attachment is awesome and the cleaner that comes with it did miracles on my stained carpet. I am definitely buying more cleaner soon. Never again will I be on my hands and knees scrubbing floors. This machine does all the work in no time. I would definitely recommend this product to all my friends.
