[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this razor for a couple of weeks now. It is an excellent razor, as I would expect from Gillette. I have used it for daily shaves as well as a couple of times with multiple days' worth of stubble. The updates since the Fusion Proglide, my current razor, seem to be the addition of a lubricating/moisturizing strip under the blades (see picture, comparing the two) and a pivoting ball in the handle. It is the same size as the Proglide and the shave is very similar. The blades are interchangeable with other Fusion handles, so you could use the new blades with your old handle or use your old blades with this handle. Bottom line, I don't see much of a difference between this razor and the older Fusion razors. However, since I do have some tricky spots, like under my jaw bone, the pivoting handle makes it a tiny bit more agile, which is why I will continue to use this handle with the rest of the proglide blades I have at home. Also, I like that they kept the single blade at the top for hard-to-reach areas- I use that under my nose and a couple of other tricky spots. I typically have to use two because they quickly dull from the thicker hair and cause razorburn. With the Fusion Proshield (provided for free by Gillette), I was able to quickly and comfortably shave without changing blades. The extra trimming razor on the back made it easy to get the hair around my ears. This one's a keeper. I don't always shave, but when I do, the Fusion Proshield with Flexball is what I'll use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi all, I received the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor from Gillette and was impressed by the looks and feel of the product. The first time I used it, I loved the single blade on the back side for precise trimming on my side burns. Its hard to do straight lines with 5 blades! Using the five blade side to shave was real nice. It cut through the thick part of my beard easy. The flexball was working but I guess it depends on the shape of your face to really notice how it moves with your face. The only reason I gave it a lower score is for the price of refills. I think they are the most expensive refills you can buy! So this razor is a good product, but I don't like the price of refills. I think since you already own the main razor part, you should not be charged so much buying refills! That's my 2cents! :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the opportunity to review the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology. I received this product free from Gillette to try out and give my opinion. This new razor from Gillette is about the same razor head that is on their other products (fusion, fusion power, etc). The razor head features a single blade on the top of the head for precision shaving as do the others, which i find a necessity for shaving under my nose because of the very wide guards around the blades. They tend to not get 1/8" of my upper lip below my nose, so the single precision blade is perfect to get up there and give me a perfect shave. The metal hand is well balanced and feels rugged and tough. Doesn't feel like it will break at all. It has a little weight to it which is a plus. It feels like a tool for your face like a wrench does when fixing a car. Fits well in your hand and is comfortable to use. The rubber grips keep it from slipping. This particular razor features a flexball which allows the razor to pivot left/right along with the normal forward/back pivot. I have used this razor for 5 days and while it performs just as good as the fusion razors, I did not see the use for the left/right pivot of the flexball. I shaved slowly and watched what the razor head was doing as it would glide over my face and chin. I noticed that the flexball really didn't do much side to side action. I, like most guys, shave straight from top to bottom on my face. The razor's front/back pivot works very well but i did not see the need for a left/right ball pivot. Now, for anyone who shaves down and may move the razor left or right while going down, this pivot might make a difference. As for my shaving style, the pivot did nothing to gain an advantage over their other razors. If you happen to shave in any direction other than top to bottom, this pivoting head should be an advantage to you, it just wasn't for me. If you are a fan of Gillette razors like I am, I am happy to see them trying to improve their product constantly. This one though, is not something I see myself needing over what i normally use. I love my Gillette Fusion Power razors, can't live without them! This one I would pass on solely based on how i shave and having no advantage to my shaving style. The razor itself performed top notch and gave a great close shave. Gillette razors are the best on the market today. I wouldn't use any other brand. I was excited to get to try this razor and it didn't disappoint in its performance. Like i said, i personally do not have a use for the pivoting ball technology. Other than that, its a great razor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying that I received the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball to sample from Gillette. This is the first razor that I have used with the Flexball and I definitely had some doubts about its effectivenes prior to using the razor. Those were quickly put to rest after seeing how quickly I could shave without having to redo any areas. The razor provided an extremely close shave and the whole process was certainly quicker with this razor. I have always used Gillette razors and this is certainly in my opinion, the best one yet. I have very sensitive skin and often end up with razor burn, even with a relatively new razor. After shaving with the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball for over a month on the first razor, I never had any signs of razor burn. I attribute this to both the Flexball razor and the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive Shaving Gel. The shaving gel is by far the best shaving gel I've ever used and I've tried many different kinds. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor is very similar to other recent models, but I admittedly did not experience any razor burn or small cuts after shaving off a three day growth. I noticed that my shave was much quicker and comfortable. The blades appear to work with my platinum stick and I'll be making the switch.

I went from shaving my face maybe once a week to shaving 5 days a week and it was rough on my skin. The Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor gave me a super close shave without razor burn. I was really surprised at how easily the razor glided across my skin. The Flexball Technology really helped to shave the more difficult areas, like the neck and chin. I also shave my head and was really happy to find a razor that can work for both my head and face. Included with the razor was Fusion ProGlide shave gel. This gel had a combination of shaving gel and skin care was designed for sensitive skin. It made my skin soft and eliminated the burning I experienced with other shaving creams. The only negative I found was at timed the razor would feel clunky and difficult to maneuver. However I feel the positives for outweigh the only negative. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a close shave without razor burn or other discomforts.

What I mean with a close shave is that it really does cut down all the hair, even the little stubborn hairs that are so hard to cut. It just leaves your skin feeling smooth and moisturized. Also the FlexBall™Technology really does allow you to remove hair from difficult areas like your neck or jaw. It also comes with two blades that are super easy to work with. Taking the blade off just requires an easy click of a button and to place it back on you just snap the blade back onto the top of the FlexBall. All in all, this was a great product that I really enjoyed using and honestly this is one of the best, if not the best razor I've ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mixed reviews after using the Gillette® Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball for a month now. First of all, I was impressed with the ease of the packaging. Not very often that can open a package without any tools let alone on a razor. Very smooth shave overall. Allows for a quick transition from the neck to face without much effort. Also found the blade held up well for the entire month with little notice of dulling out. Pre and post moisture strips even held up very well. The only issue I had, which is one I can't overcome is the size of this razor. I found even with the precision blade on the top, I could never get a smooth shave under my nose. I found myself reverting back to my dual blade razor for this area. It then seemed silly to me to be using 2 razors for shaving. I gave it a month but I have gone back to my dual blade razor for good. Yes I miss some of the feature but 2 blades just seem to fit me better.
