[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology is the best manual razor I've used to date. I received the razor free from Gillette to try out as well as a sample of their new shave gel. I have to say from the first use I'm hooked and will only be using this razor from now on. I have used the normal Gillette fusion and other various disposable razors but have never used one that gives such a smooth result. I have pretty coarse facial hair and generally have to shave daily for my job. Using this razor felt like cutting through butter against my facial hair. It gave me the closest shave I've ever had and even got all the little hairs that the other razors seem to have problems getting. It worked going with and against the grain when shaving. You can really tell the difference that the Flexball makes as it contours to your face while you shave. This was without a doubt the most effortless shave. I told several of my friends and family members about it all ready, and even let my friend try it out because I got 2 blades with my sample. He went out and bought his own that night. I will definitely being using this as my go to razor from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Gillette Fusion® ProShield™ Manual Razor with FlexBall™ Technology for about a month now. I thought it was fantastic when I first started using it and it's held up. I'm still getting the smoothest shave I've probably ever gotten. The blades cut through easily which leads to fewer passes with the razor and no irritation. I'm still as excited about this razor as I was the first day I got it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] razor seems well built and feels nice. It is too much for med or less hair, if you have a think beard it is a good buy. I have a med thickness beard and it would dig too deep on the first path with even 3days of growth. I would not use this as an everyday razor but could use it as a once in awhile razor to knock down a thick beard. But it is not an item i would personal buy because of its excessive razor count and constant need to stop shaving and reset in order to not cut myself. overall a nice built and good option for thick beards. I also need to say that this razor would pull on my hairs as i trade to lift it from my face. If you are baby faced or med thickness don't buy and go with another razor.

This is not the razor I hoped for...I've got and use a Mach 3 turbo and it works great. This new one...man, I don't know...the first blade, I thought well, maybe it's just this one...tried a new blade...it was worse. I had my wife pick up a different razor today....I don't know how you can screw up a razor that bad in a couple of years. Bad shave, and when I used it, I had to make sure to put it on the shelf blades up or the lube strips would glue themselves to the paint! Very disappointed

It gave me a very close shave without any nicks at all.. I use to use a fusion power and will definitely be purchasing a powered version of this if Gillette makes one!!! It seems like there are is a new technological breakthrough with razors every quarter and I have tried some of with mixed results. Like most guys when I go to pick up a new razor I am overwhelmed with the sheer number of options and get easily frustrated and grab the cheapest razor and go on with my day. Unfortunately my cheapness leads to razor burn, cuts, and ingrown hairs by the end of that razor’s life. So when I received the new Gillette Fusion ProShield manual razor with Flexball technology and a nice can of Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive shaving gel for free from Gillette I was curious to see what they had to offer. The razor itself has a nice futuristic look to it and the weight and construction are solid. It comes with five blades that help cut through stubble with ease on a single pass and leaves a nice close shave. The Flexball is a nice feature but I am most impressed with the spring loaded blade. The spring loaded blade allows you to shave from your neck to your chin and barely move your hand to navigate. The can of Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive shaving gel is rust resistant and does not leave any rust rings on your bathroom vanity unlike other traditional options. The way this bottle is designed helps eliminate any overflow gel and gives you just the right amount of gel that you need. I really like this gel because it leaves you with a fresh feeling when you shave and helps lubricate your face as well. I have been using this razor for more than a month and I have to say that Gillette really hit the mark with this one. The longevity of this razor is just right and the blades do not get dull as quickly as other razors. No more razor burn, cuts, and ingrown hairs for me. Thank you Gillette for an outstanding package!

So, when I got a chance to try out the new Fusion ProShield for free, I was super excited. This razor did not let me down at all. Because it has 5 blades I was able to shave everything in less strokes and there was no additional irritation or anything. Love this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically have a pretty rough face when it comes to shaving, and often finish with uncomfortable razor burn on my face. Even using the sensitive skin shaving cream does not always help the cause. For this reason, disposable razors definitely do not work for me. I was offered to try the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor for free from Gillete, so I took the opportunity! This is a very high quality razor out of the packaging - it is quite heavy and sturdily built. The removable razor cartridge stays on perfectly when in use, but is also very easy to remove when necessary. After the first shave, I could tell this was a great razor! The razor ran smoothly over all of the jagged surfaces of my face, without causing any cuts or burning. It only took about 2 passes over to get all of the hair off, which usually takes much more than that. I used this razor every day for about 2 weeks, and the original blades showed no signs of needing to be replaced. Although replacement cartridges can be expensive, it seems like these will last long enough that it is worth the cost. Overall, I definitely recommend this product to anybody needing to shave!
