[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology is the best manual razor I've used to date. I received the razor free from Gillette to try out as well as a sample of their new shave gel. I have to say from the first use I'm hooked and will only be using this razor from now on. I have used the normal Gillette fusion and other various disposable razors but have never used one that gives such a smooth result. I have pretty coarse facial hair and generally have to shave daily for my job. Using this razor felt like cutting through butter against my facial hair. It gave me the closest shave I've ever had and even got all the little hairs that the other razors seem to have problems getting. It worked going with and against the grain when shaving. You can really tell the difference that the Flexball makes as it contours to your face while you shave. This was without a doubt the most effortless shave. I told several of my friends and family members about it all ready, and even let my friend try it out because I got 2 blades with my sample. He went out and bought his own that night. I will definitely being using this as my go to razor from now on.

After trying this new shaving gel and new proshield razor, I will never go back to any other razor. This the closest and smoothest shave I have ever gotten at home and is comparable to a professional hot shave at the barbershop. I followed my normal routine and scrubbed my skin with hot water prior to the shave and then applied the gel and began shaving. Not only did I not have any cuts at all even though I was shaving against the grain but my skin felt soft and lubricated following the shave and didnt even require any aftershave. I would highly recommend this razor to anyone that enjoys a very close and clean shave.

The flexball is the key to keep your razor to your face around those uneven areas of the face especially around the chin and jawline. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Gillette Fusion razor with Flexball that was provided to me for free with the company of their shaving gel for about a month now and this is the detail about my experience: First time shaving it was a bit awkward, first off because the gel has a silly string-like appearance which threw me off until I started spreading onto my face and realized it leathers like foam, but it is very very smooth; the gel instantly made a difference and it is now my choice product for shaving prep. The most awkward part was the razor. It felt really different -compared to the disposable Gillette I always used before. The five blades gave a really clean shave with fewer strokes, and it did not irritate my skin at all (I've never suffer from irritation with any razor, however) but I did cut myself because I wasn't ready for the full motion this razor has with the flexball so I was treating it like s disposable. By the second and on shaves my experience is really smooth and quick too! I don't spend as much time shaving yet I get a cleaner and smoother feel after. I recommend this razor and saving gel combination to any guy and girl out there who really want to experience a smooth shave and really get every area covered.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Gillette Fusion® ProShield™ Razor with Flexball™ Technology to test from Gillette. I had let my beard grow for a full week before I tried it the first time, that was a bad idea. This razor seems to be meant for 2-3 days of stubble for optimal use. The initial shave took about 35 minutes, but ones after only took around 5 once I only let my beard go 2-3 days between shaves. The Gillette Fusion® ProGlide™ Shave Gel on the other hand was amazing. That would get 5 stars if that were what I was reviewing.

I subscribed not long after I heard about them, and chose the three month interval. Because I shave every couple days, and I can stretch my blades as needed. My only issue was the packaging. When it first arrived with the blades and handle, I was confused. Because the box it arrived in was blank except for the shipping information. The same can be said about the second box with the first blades only box. Six months later, I still have almost two packs of blades. So I am set for a while and I may extend my subscription to six month intervals.

After many, many years, I tried a new razor and company for several months. One day, after realizing the "new" razor wasn't getting as close I like, I went back to Fusion. I call it the yellow beard beater. Even with just soap and water, the closeness of my shave is awesome. Hooray, I'm back with what consistently does the job! Oh, by the way, I get a minimum of 3 weeks a blade.
