The flexball is the key to keep your razor to your face around those uneven areas of the face especially around the chin and jawline. I have never had a closer shave than this blade Plus I got this Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor from Gillette free to try it out.

Having used many of their previous razors, I felt confident in the Flexball. I must say this particular razor just shaved the most thick hair with ease and minimal effort. I was really pleased with how well it works and how long the blade has lasted. The included shave gel was on par with others in the same category. Overall it's one of the best razors I've ever tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor for over a month now, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed! Yes, the same razor for over a month! The ProShield, which I received free from Gillette, has surpassed all of my expectations. The look and feel of the handle has not diminished with use, it's still quite sturdy, and untarnished. The FlexBall is very effective as it maneuvers across my skin without little resistance leaving a continued smooth shave minus razor bumps or rash. I have sensitive skin, so I was very concerned that after continued use I would start to feel the effects of a dull razor, not the case. Although I reported in my earlier review that the lubricating strips lost its potency, I have discovered that lubrication is still intact. As noted in my picture I am currently growing a beard, and the edging blade is still sharp enough to give me a clean-cut shave. Once again, I have used the same razor for a month and the edging blade, as well as the razor are still capable of giving a complete, smooth shave. The Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor is the only razor you will need for your shaving needs. I would still highly recommend this product to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Gillette Fusion ProShield razor for 23 days now with the same original blade and i must say i am definitely impressed. I do not use the traditional razor everyday i use an electric razor about every other day (which leaves me with a 5 O'clock shadow by the time i leave for work), which is how i have used my standard Gillette Fusion razor for years and i figured it would give me an accurate comparison. I have used the new Fusion ProShield razor that i received free from Gillette a little more frequently than i had used the standard razor in the past. The blade is still functioning as well as it did the first time of use and i have not had the razor burn that i used to get has not shown up from the use of the manual razor. The FlexBall technology has been working very well for me as i do not have to make multiple passes multiple times to get a clean shave on the curves of my face and i have not nicked myself at all with the new Gillette Fusion ProShield with FlexBall. I have also been using the Gillette Fusion Proglide sensitive Gel +Skin Care 2 in 1 in the rust free container. It has worked very well for shaving seeming to use less than the other gels i have used in the past and it lathers very well. One of the big things i have noticed is that there isn't the "overflow" that used to run down the side after every use on the old gels. It provides a great feel after the shave and is very refreshing. I also love the window on the side so you don't run out at the most inconvenient time. I am extremely pleased with the performance of the Gillette Fusion Proshield manual razor and the shave gel and highly recommend it to other with stiff facial hair like i have. Now if i could find an electric razor for those same "timbers" that grow on my face i would be set!

was using Dollar Shave club in the past. Figured I would give Gillette another go (been years). I love the feel of this razor, the blades are amazing. one pass and done. I let a couple days go before trying (DSC pulled and hurt) just to compare. I was sold and will not go back to DSC. I Do not dread shaving any longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item as a free sample for my candid review. The first thing I noticed is how the razor sits nicely in my hand. It's balanced well and easy to hang on to during my shave. The flexball technology went against everything I thought I knew about shaving. Initially I was used to altering the position of the razor and my grip to manage my facial curves so it took me a little while to realize that with just the right amount of pressure applied, the blade and shields pivot to get a close shave at every angle. Here's what I couldn't get used to: the blades felt thinner than any razor I've ever used. They felt flimsy against my coarse manly beard hairs and if I was shaving body hair it just didn't rinse out between the blades as well as some of my other razors with thicker blades. Interestingly, it was my wife who ended up loving this razor. She liked using it on her legs, underarms, and bikini area because the flexball allowed it to followed her curves without needing to reposition her grip and made for a faster shave with zero nicks due to the ProShield. Also, the thinner blades gave her a closer shave and had no trouble removing her finer hairs. For now, I'll probably stick with my Gillette Fusion Proglide.

I have been using Gillette blades for a long time, the pro shield blade system is the best, but I have to admit that I cringe when I have to buy more because they are very expensive. The blades are so thin and close to each other they tend to get filled with beard stubble and soap pretty quick. Even running under water does not help. Gillette please design these blades with the push cleaning system you had years ago. These are the best blades while they are new and clean.

For years I've been using Schick and Gillette razors, used them interchangeable, because they all felt the same. However the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology is definitely a notch above the manual razors. The one thing that stood out for me, is this razor gave me less cuts compared to all the other razors. Usually when I start with a new blade, I always have cuts in certain areas of my face, but this razor reduced my nicks and cuts by more than 50%. This means the ball technology really works and the blade moves to the contour of my face. I've been using the blade for a 1.5 weeks so far, and the blades are still sharp, given that I have a thick beard. In addition, the lubrication all around the blade is still holding up well. I really like this razor, it holds well in the hand, and after shaving, the face was smooth. If you are looking for a razor that will glide across the different and difficult areas of your face, and razor blade that will out last a normal razor, this razor is for you. Gillette has finally outdone all the other manual razors in the market.

I only had to do one swipe or two swipes to shave and I didn't have a red face after having to over skin multiple times like I would with a different razor that only had two blades. I would buy the razor heads the next time I need them. It will only be the razor I use going forward.
