[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received my Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor in the mail for free from Gillette as a Bzz Agent member, I immediately opened the packaged and took out the razor. It had a similar feel to Gillette razors I had used in the past, but I could also see several improvements. The first improvement I saw right away was the lubrication from the razor before and after the blades. This makes the shave much closer and smoother than in the past. The razor is as easy to clean as past Gillette razors I have used. Overall, I was very happy with the razor and I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to change brands or even upgrade their current Gillette razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as the Fusion Proshield razor from Gillette arrived, my wife took it from me and gave it a test run. She hasn't given it back since. I don't usually look for a close shave since I like some facial hair. She, on the other hand Loves the close shave and the pivot ability from this futuristic looking razor. No complaint here. It will definitely be the razor of choice in this house. Gillette did send me this razor for reviewing purposes for free and I am totally glad that they did. As seen in the picture, it has a permanent home in our shower!

I love the flexball technology, it helps to get all the hairs around the jawline. No irritation left on the skin after shaving. Usually razors leave me with itchy skin, but with this razor it seems that problem has gone away. I've used it 3 times already and will continue to buy more blades for this razor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I received this product from the manufacture Gillette to review and all thoughts and opinions are my own. After opening the packaging on the Gillette Fusion Proshield I could tell right away that the razor was made of high quality materials. The Body is made of metal and feels like it would handle some daily heavy duty usage. My Fusion Proshield came with two cartridges/blades each having a strip of lubrication both before the blade and after. The cartridges also have a precision trimmer on the back for accurate edging. The cartridges are easy to change with just a forward press on the yellow button at the top of the handle . Shaving with the Gillette Fusion Proshield was a great experience! Just slathered on my favorite shave cream/Gel and noticed that the flex ball technology really helped the blades follow the curves and contours of my face. The result was a very smooth shave and a huge step up from my old disposables. This will most certainly be my new razor of choice!

It's a win win for both of us, haha. What can I say about the Gillette Fusion ProSheild Razor? That it is the best razor that I have ever used. I am the type of guy that will shave with anything, 1 dollar pharmacy razors, single blade, you name it I've used it, mostly because I didn't think it mattered. If it got rid of my facial hair for a few days(usually 1 max), great. This wonderful piece of ingenuity is REALLY great. It has five blades, a trimmer for shaping, Flexball technology(so it will move with the contours of your face), and the number one best feature.....The lubrication bars on the top and bottom of the blades. This new feature makes all the difference. Normally after a shave I always get razor burn, not here. My face felt smooth, no irritation, I had no need to itch or apply a razor burn fighter, I was just done. And as a man who needs everything to go fast, eliminating the step of applying razor burn cream is a huge plus. To end this review, I'll tell a story about how my girlfriend felt about my face when she saw it. My girlfriend sees my newly shaved face, says, "Wow, did you use the new razor you got?" I said, "Yes, come feel my face". She placed her hand on my face and felt my skin, and almost instantaneously plunged her cheek onto mine rubbing it all over my face,haha. It was like a ridiculous commercial. She said, "Wow, you need to get this more often." With that reaction.....I will. You should try it too.

I purchased the new Gillette Fusion 5 "Proshield" razors for my Gillette swivel razor and without a doubt this new Fusion 5 Proshield is the best razor I have ever used - Bar None. Stay in Business and keep selling the new Fusion 5 Proshield razors!!!! They are the very best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having tried almost every razor available, I decided to give the new ProShield a go ... Plus, I received it free from Gilette on a trial basis. Going into it, I was skeptical of the new Flexball Technology, thinking it was going to be nothing special. Was I ever wrong. I experienced what came to be one of the most comfortable and smoothest shaves to this day. It lived up to everything it claimed it would do. I typically have to wait between 3 and 4 days to shave so as to not irritate my skin and get razor burn. However, I tried shaving 2 days later, and the results were just as refreshing. No razor burn ... no irritation ... No discomfort what-so-ever! Now, the single blade razor on the reverse side did not seem as sharp as other razors I have used with the same technology, but it did get the job done ... Nice, clean finishing lines around my beard. This will definitely become my new Razor of preference.

I signed up for this do I would not have to worry about running out of blades. After my 4th deliver, they stopped. No free razor kit. I contacted them and they said a software glitch messed it up and they sent the free razors. Since then, nothing, I’ve had to go buy them in the store.

I was WRONG!!! The ProShield with the Flexball is an incredible shaver. I have used other 5 blade shaver, like the hydro 5, and the ProShield significantly outperforms the competition. The Proshield reduced my typical neck irritationafter I shave (very impressive). I was so impressed by the ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology so much I have told many of my friends that this razor cause less irritation and gets a closer shave with few shaving strokes. The ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology is the BEST shaver I have ever used. It feels awesome to hold also the metal with rubber grips allows for a comfortable and secure hold while shaving. Gillette also included their Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive shave gel + skin cream. The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive shave gel is the thickest creamiest shave gel I have ever use. Even the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive shave gel was like WOW!!!! The Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology and Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive shave gel + skin cream have raised the bar for what I expect from a shaver and shave gel, because they have provided me the best shaving experience. I recommend the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology to anyone who is looking for the BEST SHAVE in LESS TIME.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this razor for free to review. I have been using this razor for about 3 weeks now. The first thing I noticed about the razor is it is very solid. It has a nice weight to it. I appreciate that it didn't feel cheap. The shave however was not as impressive. I experienced all lot of hair pulling while using this razor. I shave about twice a week on average, and my beard hair tends to be very thick. I wanted to give this product a chance, so i started shaving every other day. I still experienced hair pulling especially in the beck region. I will say that I have used the same blade this whole time and it is still sharp. I'm used to blades only lasting about 3 shaves. The lubricanting bands seem to help, but I think the hair was getting caught up in it. I gave this product 4 stars because the blades have remained sharp, and to me that's what i look for most in a razor.
