[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of the standard Fusion ProShield Razor from Gillette. The first thing that I noticed about the razor was the FlexBall. Pushing on it, you can move it back and forth. I have never had a razor that could pivot from side to side and I found it to be very unique. When I used the razor I didn't feel the razor catch on any hairs and it slid over my face easily. The shave was very close and after I did not feel any irritation on my skin. I also liked the trimmer on the back. I was able to get my sideburns straight and level. After using the razor a few times my skin is still smooth and without irritation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure: I received this product for free from Gillette in return for my honest review. Another disclosure, I am terrible at shaving. It doesn't matter how careful I am, or what shaving cream I use, I inevitably wind up with about half a dozen little cuts every time I shave. That having been said, the Fusion ProShield Razor and Flexball Technology might be the solution to my terrible shaving ability. The addition of another lubricating strip helps the razor glide more smoothly along the skin while the Flexball handle seems to compensate for my natural tendency to subconsciously move my head just enough to nick myself as I go along. On the whole, I would say that the product is a solid improvement from the standard razors I have used in the past, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to new customers, or those just looking for a closer, and more gentle shave. That having been said, I do need to note that I noticed some loss of maneuverability of the razor due to the addition of the second lubricating strip. This was largely not an issue, but the razor cartridge is definitely noticeably thicker due to the second strip, and it did make it a little tougher to run the blade over rough angles and in tight spaces (like where the nose meets the upper lip). All things considered though, this is easily the best razor I have ever used and even with the slight drawback I am very happy with the quality of the product.

I love the flexball technology, it helps to get all the hairs around the jawline. No irritation left on the skin after shaving. Usually razors leave me with itchy skin, but with this razor it seems that problem has gone away. I've used it 3 times already and will continue to buy more blades for this razor. Overall very satisfied with the product. Thank you bzzagent and Gillette for helping me find a great razor.

Really close shave and comfortable - I’ve been shaving for 40+ years and this is the best, easiest, most comfortable blade - but the blade on the back is worse than useless for me - when I try to get up close under my nose, if I’m not careful it cuts into my nose. If it weren’t for that, I’d use these more, but I only get them every once in a while, then tend to give them up after a few of those cuts.

I suffer from acne & sensitive skin so I'm hesitant to try new razors. I got this razor for free from Gillette along with a can of Gillette's Fusion Proglide Sensitive shaving gel. I've used it a couple times and I'm very impressed with the results. I haven't had any irritation and the flexball technology makes shaving the chin & neck easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Fusion Flexball is a fantastic disposable razor system. The fusion heads give an easy smooth shave without roughing up my skin and the Flexball handle noticeably improves the razor's ability to follow the contours of my skin. With my old Fusion handles, certain areas of my neck would require multiple passes from multiple different angles to get every stray whisker. The Flexball handle seems to twist just enough to keep the cutting surface flat against my face and neck at all times, eliminating the need for extra passes. I received this product for free!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Gillette for a review, but I want to give my honest review. First, I think this overall is a good razor and stayed sharp for a good amount of time. A little background - I am a 3 day per week shaver and I shave my head and face. I shave my head by choice, so its quite a lot of hair that is being shaved during each session. The Gillette ProShield lasted me about 5 full shaves before becoming dull. I could probably get 7 shaves out of it before becoming painful. The new strip definitely made a difference and has added comfort to the shave. Much more smooth going through the shaving cream, and even going against the grain on the first attempt instead of with. Flexball is another added advantage. Over 4.25 out of 5 and I would probably buy again.

This is not the razor I hoped for...I've got and use a Mach 3 turbo and it works great. This new one...man, I don't know...the first blade, I thought well, maybe it's just this one...tried a new blade...it was worse. I had my wife pick up a different razor today....I don't know how you can screw up a razor that bad in a couple of years. Bad shave, and when I used it, I had to make sure to put it on the shelf blades up or the lube strips would glue themselves to the paint! Very disappointed
