It really gives me a clean shave, I have also began telling all my friends about how great this razor is. I would definitely recommend this razor to other people. This razor practically did all the work all I had to do was move across my face.

I've used it after receiving my BZZAgent Campaign package, and found it to be surprisingly good. I usually think of many razor enhancements as gimmicky, but the flex ball allowed me to shave smoother than ever in areas like my jaw. I am very impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Gillette Fusion Proshield Razor gives a nice close shave, without irritating my skin. I waited until I had a full weeks worth of growth and put the razor to the test. It took a few swipes to fully rid of all the stubble but there was no pulling or irritating sensation from the 5 blades. With the precision trimmer, I was able to get a nice even cut for my sideburns, on the first try! The lubrication strips did such a good job, I felt that I didn't need to put aftershave on. The Flexball technology worked okay with my facial contours but I still had to re position the razor when shaving around my Adams apple to get all the hairs. The razor had a nice weight to it, didn't seem too heavy or too lightweight. It's been four days since my shave and no five o'clock shadow, I would've had to shave again with my old razor in that amount of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recently given the opportunity to test-shave the latest installment in manual razor technology by Gillette. I received the Gillette Fusion® ProShield™ Manual Razor with FlexBall™ Technology (and shave gel) for free from Gillette as a part of my participation in a product review campaign through BzzAgent.com. The following observations were made by me as I used this product for the past 4 weeks: (Before testing, my preferred razor has been the Gillette Mach3 disposable. I have used the Mach3 for the last 5+ years.) Packaging - I usually don’t pay much attention to this aspect of a product, but I was especially impressed with the ease at which I was able to free the razor from its case and begin my first shave. No scissors, utility knife, or chainsaw required! Aesthetics - As far as “cool factor”, this razor has it. The space-age look immediately attracted me. I could easily envision Han Solo reaching for this in the medicine cabinet aboard the Millennium Falcon. Construction - The razor seems to be very well constructed. It does not have a cheap feel to me at all. It is heavier than I thought it would be at first glance. Each piece is well engineered, especially the connection between the handle and detachable blades. First Shave - In order to get the “full experience” for this review, I used the included Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive shave gel, also received free from Gillette. The gel has the consistency of a stiff meringue and definitely looks and feels like it when applied. After taking the first couple strokes on my cheek with the razor, it didn’t seem to be working. All it did was smear the gel and clog the razor. It did cut some of the hairs, but I spent more time trying to clean the blades than I was used to with my disposable. The FlexBall did hug my face as I went from cheek to chin to neck, but I wasn’t very impressed, because I still had to shave “against the grain” just as much as the old razor. I really couldn’t tell a difference between a 5-blade or 3-blade shave. The area on the sides of my neck are always the toughest areas to shave. I was hoping that it would at least cut down on the amount of strokes it took to shave those areas, but unfortunately it didn’t. After I was finished, I noticed a couple cuts on my neck, which were quickly stopped by some hot water and aftershave balm. Overall, my first shaving experience with the Gillette Fusion® ProShield™ Manual Razor with FlexBall™ Technology was not very positive. Continued Testing - After 4 weeks of use (2-3 times a week), here are my observations: I had to switch blades after about five shaves. I normally get a month or more from my disposable. Razor nicks and cuts have stopped after that first shave. Maybe it was just user error? I still experience some razor burn on my neck. I believe it’s due to shaving against the grain a lot to get all those pesky hairs. One useful feature this razor has is a single blade that can be used for getting into that hard-to-reach area under the nostrils. Once the shave is complete, my skin is very smooth. However it’s taken just as long (usually longer) to shave with this razor than with my Mach3. This razor does the job, but I’m not sure it does it well enough (for me) to justify making the switch.

I am in my 70's now, have been shaving for many decades. I buy and try almost every new razor--I have used Gillette stating with Super Blue, Stainless steel, Track II, Techmatic, Atra, Mach 3, Proglide etc. I have also tried Dollar Shave Club and Harry's. Nothing comes close to this blade, best blade ever. I would like Gillette to fit this blade for the expensive heated razor--I will buy it then.

What an amazing shave so smooth and free moving what a change from the ridged cheap razors I normally use. The shave cream is too notch and my new favorite. Having tried what feels like an endless supply of shaving creams, butters, gels, oils and what not this is by far the best I have used. My face is so soft and smooth after shaving. And best of all having sensitive skin this made for anout of this world shave. Knowing I was going to receive this I decided not to shave my no shave November beard and this razor made quick work of it. What would I like to know before I get this product? Biggest answere I would want to know is where can I get replacement heads for this razor. And where can I get more of the 2 in 1 shave gel. Based on the quality of both of these I would consider paying a little more for them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit that I might not be the greatest person to tell you whether a razor is great or not as I have a beard and only use a razor about once a month to shave the bottom portion of my neck, but I have to admit that I was REALLY impressed by this razor. First off, it did a fantastic job doing my neck (which is a very delicate part and can often be a place of razor burns and cuts) and was as smooth as I can ever remember. However, the really amazing thing was how smooth it was. It really felt like I wasn't shaving at all and I was worried it wasn't working - it was that smooth. This guy is definitely my number one razor now and I expect to use it for a long time. It was really cool that it had 4 blades instead of 3 as opposed to my previous razor. Fewer strokes. Love it! I received this product free from Gillette.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Gillette Fusion Proshield about a week now and this has to be the closest shave I have ever had! I'm still on the first cartridge and it's holding up with no drag or pull and is still shaving just as smooth as the first day of use. I'll update later but as of right now I'm sold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I think that Gillette hit the mark dead center with this razor. The flexball worked perfectly. I've never had any issues with razors on my cheeks or face but my neck was always tough. Most razors cut into my skin as I go under my chin onto my neck. And that causes those terrible looking neck bumps. Thankfully with the flexball that didn't happen at all! The transition around my chin onto my neck was smooth and I got no irritation. 3 uses in and no neck bumps or red marks. The only down side I have found in my research into the flexball is its price. It's a little expensive for blade refills...that's the only thing keeping this product from being 5 stars.
