My son got this in the mail today as a birthday gift from Gillette for turning 18. It came with a $5 off code but I can't find refills anywhere on site. Wish the coupon was good for in-store too. He has just started his shaving adventure but we love the look of this razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor for a week now, which I received free from Gillette, and I absolutely love it! Upon first opening the package you find the stability of a blade handle that feels comfortable in your hand. The handle does not feel too heavy to hold. As a matter of fact the grip and feel is near perfect. In combination with a Gillette shaving cream, I found the feel of the blade against my skin to be rather smooth without much effort as it glides across my face. This is probably the smoothest shave I've had in years. The edging blade that came with the razor also worked very well. However, upon first using it it was hard to manipulate with my moustache and beard to trim. But once I figured it out I have found the edging blade to work well with shaving cream. The only reason I did not give this razor 5 stars is because the lubricating strips have finally lost their potency. I was very hopeful that the lubricating strips would last along with the razor, which seems to have a lot of life left in it. However the lubricating strips work quite well when they were fully functional. The razor blades, handle, and edging blade is the perfect combination for a smooth shaving experience. After 1 week of usage, I would highly recommend the Gillette Fusion Proshield Razor to anyone.

Yes, the same razor for over a month! The ProShield, which I received free from Gillette, has surpassed all of my expectations. The look and feel of the handle has not diminished with use, it's still quite sturdy, and untarnished. The FlexBall is very effective as it maneuvers across my skin without little resistance leaving a continued smooth shave minus razor bumps or rash. I have sensitive skin, so I was very concerned that after continued use I would start to feel the effects of a dull razor, not the case. Although I reported in my earlier review that the lubricating strips lost its potency, I have discovered that lubrication is still intact. As noted in my picture I am currently growing a beard, and the edging blade is still sharp enough to give me a clean-cut shave. Once again, I have used the same razor for a month and the edging blade, as well as the razor are still capable of giving a complete, smooth shave. The Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor is the only razor you will need for your shaving needs. I would still highly recommend this product to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] every time Gillette come up with a new product, I wonder what else left to be done. now I received a new Gillette Fusion proshield with flexball technology ( for free from Gillette ), my first impression was; does this really makes a difference, when I used it, I found it so efficient and convenient, the blades moves with the face in all directions and it is so thin, you feel that a light small surface touching your face(even though it is still 5 blades), most of the times I needed only one pass to get the results I need. it also move so easily, I think it is because of the lubrication effect on both edges of the blades, I totally recommend this product from Gillette.

Well after using the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology I have realized I have been missing out. The razor shaves so much nicer and does not leave behind any razor burn. 10/10 for me and would buy it 10 times over.

My beard is really think and most razors don't give me a clean cut or they get dull fast. I was really surprised at how clean of a shave I received with the Fusion razor. However, the only thing I didn't understand was the need to have the flexball. Overall, the shave was great and I will continue to use the Gillette Fusion ProShield.

The thing that got me when I used it was the clean shave all over tight edges it a all exclusive state of the art technology built in lubricant for longer use durable constructed to last with the interchangeable cartridges sold separately but my kit came with 2 extra for longer used. Really close shave and comfortable - I’ve been shaving for 40+ years and this is the best, easiest, most comfortable blade - but the blade on the back is worse than useless for me - when I try to get up close under my nose, if I’m not careful it cuts into my nose. If it weren’t for that, I’d use these more, but I only get them every once in a while, then tend to give them up after a few of those cuts.

I signed up for this do I would not have to worry about running out of blades. After my 4th deliver, they stopped. No free razor kit. I contacted them and they said a software glitch messed it up and they sent the free razors. Since then, nothing, I’ve had to go buy them in the store.
