So much hype around shaving; I was skeptical but bought one anyway. BEST SHAVE I HAVE EVER HAD. The photo is I now. The shave was ten hours ago. My wife noticed, just by looking at me, not touching!! How the razor manages it doesn’t much matter. The point is, it delivers on on its promises!

The only thing holding me back from a 5 star review is the fact that it didn't seem much different than what is currently on the market. Sure the swivel blade is a new idea but didn't seem to add much of a benefit. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.

There are very thin blades and there is a lubricated part to the razor, which makes the shave very smooth and comfortable. I have a square chin, and the ability to bend due the flex ball ensured I didn't miss any spots. Great technology for my needs. I will be buying this razor when it's available at the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a hairy guy with European ancestry, I've had to shave since the eighth grade! My typical go to has been the Gillette Fusion for many years now. I've tried some of the newer upgrades they've had, but the newest ProShield is definitely an improvement. It has lubrication strips before and after the blades, and I can feel the difference. Another new item with these razors is the powerball flex head that moves, so the razor moves left to right along with the contours of the face. I'm not quite sure that I'm sold on the flexing head as I think I can get a better shave with the stationary head. However, I totally miss the vibrating razor as the one I used does not have the battery. So going forward, I'm going to get the ProShield refill blades and be sure to use them on the vibrating Fusion body. Five stars for the blade, four stars for the body. I highly encourage anybody with sensitive skin like myself to give the ProShield blades a try. I received this razor for free from Gillette but these are my honest opinions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am difficult to impress where shaving is concerned. It has always been difficult to get a great with sensitive skin like mine. That said, the Gillette Fusion ProShield razor most DEFINITELY impressed me!! I took some time to test this razor, shaving at different intervals with different gels/creams/soaps. The ONLY downside I could find is trying to shave a heavier beard proved to be a little uncomfortable. Shaving on a daily, or every other basis, produces such a smooth shave that I'm still having a hard time believing it. When I opened the package, I thought "oh here's a gimmicky looking toy". But I quickly changed my tune when handling it. the handle has an EXCELLENT weight and grip surface that leads to very easy control. The head took a little getting used to, but having that extra axis of flex really does lend itself to keeping the right angle of contact with the right amount of pressure. To top it off, the trimming edge is a nice touch, allowing me to get difficult spots, like under the nose. So in total, KUDOS to Gillette for surprising me with a razor that not only does a great job, but will likely have me buying replacement cartridges for it. WELL DONE!

I just received the new Gillette Proshield Flexball as a gift from Gillette and can honestly say it works better than anything I've tried. The razor moves smoothly with minimal resistance either with or against the grain and leaves you with an extremely close shave. The Fusion Proglide Sensitive 2+1 gel left my skin feeling cool and refreshed. The only downside is that the razor got clogged easily (I due have a thick beard) and due to the movement in the head its not ideal for edging.
