[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd like to start by mentioning that I received the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology along with a can of Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive Gel as a free trial. However, my review is unbiased. The razor is fantastic. The lubrication and new blades combined with the shaving gel resulted in the smoothest shave I've had in years. No nicks. No resistance. Aside from the obvious benefit of not cutting myself, it was also quicker. It was so easy I found myself looking for other things to shave just so I could keep using it. Additionally the flexball technology made it so I could shave the harder to reach areas with just one pass, instead of having to go over them repeatedly to make sure I got every hair. The shaving gel was also impressive. I know you're thinking, as I was, "It's shaving gel. There's not much to it." But I believe Gillette did a few things here to improve it. The gel lathered up into a cream much easier than other gels I've used. And because of this I was able to get a smoother shave with no pulling. Gillette also improved the can itself. It has a turning top that locks closed. It also has a gauge so you can tell how much gel is left. And the can is rust free, which may seem like a small thing, but if you shave in the shower you know that the rust can become a nuisance. I was very impressed with the combination of the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology and the Fusion Proglide Gel. So much so that I actually gave my father the razor in his stocking for Christmas. If you're unsure, it's worth giving it a shot and finding out for yourself.

These are great in design and function for use in spaces as delicate, but less public facing area than your face. Fille has instructions on this website about this little spoken of "other" men's use for razors. And it shouldn't be secretive or shameful or whatever the issue is. Nobody ever told me as a young man this was even an option, and I wish they had. In my 40s, I only started this close of a non trimmer shave last year. I'll never go back. There's benefits that range from comfort to summertime freshness, to your other half being a guaranteed fan of a close shave, increased access, and cosmetic appeal. The tree out front looks taller once that mess on the ground was cleaned up, if you catch my drift. Guess what else? Know what nobody likes? A hair in their mouth. So act accordingly! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave up in using multi blade razors due to the fact that they are expensive and provided no real benefit over using a single blade safety razor. I guess I also just like to feel a little bit hipster as well :) When I got this in the mail i was a bit reluctant to try it, but I went straight ahead and ripped it open and let it glide against my face. I don't like using shaving cream much, so I shave after I shower with nothing more than a bit of water. The dual hydrating pads on the razor worked very well and kept the razor gliding without problem. I was very happy with the way that it handled my jaw line. It made my face smooth and left me with 0 razor burn!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Gillette manual razors for the past few years now and the Proshield is by far the best I have used yet. The lubrication before and after the cut really helps with my sensitive skin and helps keep down razor burn. The flexball keeps it in constant contact for the smoothest shave from a manual razor I have had. Definitely my new razor of choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't have any issues with this razor, I liked the multiple blades, the pivoting head,moisture strips, I especially liked the built-in trimmer I didn't have to switch to a different product just to trim my goatee. All around I was very satisfied with this product.

It leaves a clean smooth shave. It leaves me refresh and clean. No more double shaving or having scratchy skin. Wife is loving it. You won't regret getting one. Do I have any complains about it? Honestly none what so ever. Thanks Gillette for the opportunity on been able to try before you buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this was an awesome razor. It gives a real close shave and was also a quick shave. I shave my head as well and usually about once a week and it didn't take long at all to shave my head and my face. All in all this is a great razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So first, thanks to Gillette for providing the Fusion ProShield Razor for my to try out. I'll start with a few pros and then get to the cons. Pros: 1. The packaging is really easy to get into. I'm not sure if it's the regular in-store packaging, but I was expecting to need a machete to get into it but I was able to use my bare hands. 2. The handle feels really nice and grippy! 3. The 'before and after' lubrication strips feel very nice, makes shaving easy and smooth. So now the Cons: 1. The Flexball, in my honest opinion, isn't that great and seems a little gimmicky. My normal razor is of the standard fixed handle variety, and I don't get any different of a feeling of ease when using the Flexball. 2. I've used the same 'blade' now for only three shaves, and by the third shave I have a slight sandpaperish feel on my lower neck. Maybe these blades are good for only one or two times of shaving? So there you have it. While it's not a bad razor, and I don't know how much they cost, I don't think it's worth the extra money for a razor this fancy.

I didn't really need it to improve, the shaving cream was great and the razor in combination was a VERY SMOOTH shave. But wait!!.... They came out with the fusion pro flexball and lotion bar all around the blades. WOW. I got one of these for free from Gillette for my honest review. I love the new flex ball. Very comfortable to use. I cut myself way less often. As for the shaving cream it doesn't dry your skin. They have a fancy new container for it that's kind of unnecessary, it's supposed to be mess proof and you close the top by twisting it ever time you want to use it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive skin when it comes to shaving so I am hesitant to try new items. It has been a while since I have so I decided to give one a try. Gillette sent me their Fusion ProSheild with Flexball technology for free to give a spin and I have to say, "Great Razor!" It has passed my first test, comfort. I used it to shave under my neck and it was quick and easy. The multiple razors and Flexball allowed me to finish the shave quickly which is important. What I mean is less strokes, which means less aggravation and irritation. It was a clean and close shave. I will know in a few days how regrowth is and that will be the final test but so far so good. I would recommend this product so go get one.
