I didn't really need it to improve, the shaving cream was great and the razor in combination was a VERY SMOOTH shave. But wait!!.... They came out with the fusion pro flexball and lotion bar all around the blades. WOW. I got one of these for free from Gillette for my honest review. I love the new flex ball. Very comfortable to use. I cut myself way less often. As for the shaving cream it doesn't dry your skin. They have a fancy new container for it that's kind of unnecessary, it's supposed to be mess proof and you close the top by twisting it ever time you want to use it

I love the ProGlide shield razor I like the way it contours my face and since I also shave my head i love the way it hugs the cur es and doesn't require a lot of going over the same area over and over again it cuts the hair the first time I shave in the shower without a mirror I use my finger tips to check my shave it is a great way to check your shave I have a goatee and I'm still able to keep it neat if you need a mirror you're either a new shaver and don't know your face yet or head if you're a l9ng time shaver you should be able to shave without a mirror I never nick my face and haven't since I first started shaving with a blade and the ProGlide.shield mak3s sure you don't have to worry about it ihave a sensitive face and head but have found that the provide shield protects you from not only from rocks bit allows you to use ant blade and keep your sensitive face from breaking out or any other you have issues with just use good shave cream wash you face with an exfoliating face wash b3fore applying a nice shave oil and cream or just a nice shavecream before you shave the wash you face again then adding a nice aftershave or aftershave cream to keep your face smooth and helps protect your shave where ever you shavef

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Gillette razors for a while. I had a Mach3, a Fusion Power, a Fusion ProGlide, and a Fusion ProGlide with Flexball. This, is easily, the best razor of all of them. But it is worth upgrading from a Fusion ProGlide with Flexball to a Fusion Proshield? My Fusion ProGlide was doing fine. Had I not received the Fusion Proshield for free I probably wouldn't have looked into purchasing one...and I would have missed out. Big time! I have very sensitive skin. The Fusion Proshield has lubrication before AND after the blades. Typically after shaving my neck is red and irritated; however, I just go with it. After using this razor the redness was seriously lessened. Nearly invisible! I wish I had a taken a before/after picture with my other razor and then a before/after picture with my Fusion Proshield because the difference is astonishing. If you're wondering if you should spend the extra money and upgrade to the Fusion Proshield...Yes. You should. Don't want to buy a new handle? No problem! The Fusion Proshield blades will fit in your Proglide with Flexball handle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Gillette fusion proshield from Gillette to try recently. Let me start by saying i shave on an average 5 times a week. My preferred razor is the mach 3. After receiving the fusion proshield i was anxious to try it because I'm a Gillette guy. After opening the package i noticed that the head of the razor was a little bulky. The shave it's self is top notch as always from Gillette. As for me i have a beard and it was a little tricky to line it up with the head size but what i did get was a smooth and non irritated shave. I would like to see this technology put into the mach 3. As for the flex ball i didn't get a real crack at trying it out since i have a beard. I would recommend this to someone who shaves there complete face.

After opening the packaging on the Gillette Fusion Proshield I could tell right away that the razor was made of high quality materials. I like the fact that it leaves a lotion before and after the shave. It was one of the closest, smoothest shaves I ever had.

I especially like the way it contoured under my chin and Adam's apple. Also the the prescision trimmer works really well. Thanks @gillette for the awesome free gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Gillette manual razors for the past few years now and the Proshield is by far the best I have used yet. The lubrication before and after the cut really helps with my sensitive skin and helps keep down razor burn. The flexball keeps it in constant contact for the smoothest shave from a manual razor I have had. Definitely my new razor of choice!
