Let me first be clear that I like the razor and the shave. But, I do not get the life out of the blade that I had hoped. I’m also a head shaver, so I adjusted my expectation down to 2 weeks per blade. I’m not getting that. I’m probably closer to 10 days, which I could normally get out of many other blades.

I only had to do one swipe or two swipes to shave and I didn't have a red face after having to over skin multiple times like I would with a different razor that only had two blades. I would buy the razor heads the next time I need them. It will only be the razor I use going forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an ardent user of Gillete Mach 3 and have not been able to find a replacement until recently. The overall touch & feel of razor is phenomenal, the grip is very good, the blades deliver a fantastic shave. The flex ball is a great feature and adjust according to the face contours and doesn’t leave any cuts and bruises, leaving the skin baby smooth. I am definitely going to stick to Proshield for a long time now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave up in using multi blade razors due to the fact that they are expensive and provided no real benefit over using a single blade safety razor. I guess I also just like to feel a little bit hipster as well :) When I got this in the mail i was a bit reluctant to try it, but I went straight ahead and ripped it open and let it glide against my face. I don't like using shaving cream much, so I shave after I shower with nothing more than a bit of water. The dual hydrating pads on the razor worked very well and kept the razor gliding without problem. I was very happy with the way that it handled my jaw line. It made my face smooth and left me with 0 razor burn!

I was definitely impressed with how effortless it made shaving. Very close and smooth shave. The shave gel was better than expected also. I was honestly expecting it to come with a tiny packet of shave gel or something but it was a full size can. I definitely would go back to this combo in the future. Gillette has always made good products in my opinion.

It has been quite some time since I have experienced the closeness of a shave that I got from this razor. I love the dual lubricating strips, they make the world of difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying that I received the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball to sample from Gillette. This is the first razor that I have used with the Flexball and I definitely had some doubts about its effectivenes prior to using the razor. Those were quickly put to rest after seeing how quickly I could shave without having to redo any areas. The razor provided an extremely close shave and the whole process was certainly quicker with this razor. I have always used Gillette razors and this is certainly in my opinion, the best one yet. I have very sensitive skin and often end up with razor burn, even with a relatively new razor. After shaving with the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball for over a month on the first razor, I never had any signs of razor burn. I attribute this to both the Flexball razor and the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive Shaving Gel. The shaving gel is by far the best shaving gel I've ever used and I've tried many different kinds. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To level set, I shave 2-3 times a week as my facial hair grows rather slow. I have extremely sensitive skin and the wrong combination of razor or shaving cream/gel can turn my skin into a red bumpy mess. I've never found a razor that I didn't have to perform a follow up pass with an electric razor after using. That being said, I found the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball to be a worthy upgrade to my old Gillette Fusion. Where the new razor excelled was area under my nose, the corners of my mouth and the soul-patchy area. This razor caught these hard to reach places a little better than my previous razor. Where it maybe wasn't as good was cleaning up on my neck. It left a few more hairs than my typical razor, but this was not an issue given my need to always do a final pass with an electric razor regardless of the traditional razor I used prior. I could not use the gel supplied with the razor. It left my neck bumpy and itchy. Once I switched back to my scentless, no additive based shaving gel, I was back in business. I gave the product 4 stars out of 5 because it couldn't eliminate my need to use an electric shaver post traditional shave. That being said, no razor I have ever tried alone has been able to achieve this. I would recommend this to anyone still using a Mach 3 or Gillette Fusion looking to upgrade.

I have personally used a lot of razors over the years and this Gillette Razor is near the top of my favorites list. The sleek design will draw your eye directly towards the Razor. Only concern I have with the packaging is that there are some sharp edges that may cause cuts. Once you finally use this razor there is no looking back. Very close shave to the skin without any pulling . The multi blade edges cut the facial hair with ease. I would highly recommend this razor to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor is a great product that was sent to me free from Gillette to trial. I also received a container of shaving cream, another great product from Gillette. The razor is the perfect weight and size. The lubrication before AND after the blades is a home run. I have sensitive skin and tend to end with red irritated skin, but that never happened with this product. I ended with a close, smooth, and comfortable shave. I have been using Gillette products since the day I started shaving and have never been disappointed with any of their products. I do have to admit I don't see the need for the Flexball, but it doesn't hurt anything to have it there and may have made a difference I just never noticed. I am curious as to whether Gillette is going to be selling a power version?
