[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking forward to trying this new razor given to me as a sample to test by bzzagent. I have given it about two full weeks of use and I don't have any complaints about it. I actually cant really tell much of a difference that what I was using before other than the flex ball. I got the same shave as my old razor gave me. I didn't find that the ball made much of a difference with the curves of my face or jaw line. I do however really like the shaving cream which I already had a can of and was using. I have sensitive skin and tend to break out in razor bumps easily. I will continue to use this razor until I eventually find the right one or one comes out in stores that I would prefer more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about all the blades, but it gives the best shave I've ever had! No razor burn. No tissue to soak up the leaks. Just a smooth clean shave in minimal time. The pivoting head works well to follow the contours of the face and neck.

One slight problem was that I had trouble removing the little hairs at bottom of my neck. I still had to use an electric razor for that part which only took 10 seconds. Overall, great razor. It has been more than 20 years I am using Gillette and couple of times give the chance to some others but nothing can beat even get close to Gillette when it comes to blade and razor. and now using this specific type for 3 years. very soft on skin and easy to cut all the hairs without scratch or bleeding

I purchased the new Gillette Fusion 5 "Proshield" razors for my Gillette swivel razor and without a doubt this new Fusion 5 Proshield is the best razor I have ever used - Bar None. Stay in Business and keep selling the new Fusion 5 Proshield razors!!!! They are the very best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a the Gillett Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology free from Gillette in exchange for an impartial review. The first thing that I noticed about the Fusion ProShield Razor was the Flexball. I had not seen this before and it was intriguing. The Flexball allows the razor to pivot from side to side which is quite nice. The second thing that I noticed was the strips on either side of the five blades that are to help lubricate your skin before and after the blades pass over it. The third thing is that the razor comes with a precision trimmer on the back. I was excited to try this razor out as it quite a few more bells and whistles on it than your average razor. I have been using it for a few weeks now with and without shaving gel to get a good sense of the razor. I found that the strips allow the razor to glide over your skin easily even without any shaving cream or gel. I did find that I felt less pull on my skin and less irritation on my skin, especially on those areas that I had to go over more than once. No nicks or cuts in the three weeks that I have been using it. The Flexball allowed the razor to follow the contours and curves of my face easily. I am not a person who takes a long time to shave and I found that I was able to get a close shave both quickly and efficiently. The precision trimmer on the back of the razor is also nice to be able to trim my sideburns straight and even. I would have to say that this razor gives me a better shaving experience than the one I was using before I received this one from Gillette. I would recommend this to others if they asked me about it. The only thing keeping it from having five stars is the price. But besides that it is a great razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd like to start by mentioning that I received the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology along with a can of Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive Gel as a free trial. However, my review is unbiased. The razor is fantastic. The lubrication and new blades combined with the shaving gel resulted in the smoothest shave I've had in years. No nicks. No resistance. Aside from the obvious benefit of not cutting myself, it was also quicker. It was so easy I found myself looking for other things to shave just so I could keep using it. Additionally the flexball technology made it so I could shave the harder to reach areas with just one pass, instead of having to go over them repeatedly to make sure I got every hair. The shaving gel was also impressive. I know you're thinking, as I was, "It's shaving gel. There's not much to it." But I believe Gillette did a few things here to improve it. The gel lathered up into a cream much easier than other gels I've used. And because of this I was able to get a smoother shave with no pulling. Gillette also improved the can itself. It has a turning top that locks closed. It also has a gauge so you can tell how much gel is left. And the can is rust free, which may seem like a small thing, but if you shave in the shower you know that the rust can become a nuisance. I was very impressed with the combination of the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology and the Fusion Proglide Gel. So much so that I actually gave my father the razor in his stocking for Christmas. If you're unsure, it's worth giving it a shot and finding out for yourself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Gillette Fusion Proshield Razor directly from Gillette, I was pleasantly surprised by the construction and sturdiness of the razor. I had often looked at the Gillette ProGlide razors and was impressed with the FlexBall technology and how it would move with the various contours of your face. I hesitated making the purchase as I strictly use razors to trim my neck and cheeks since I typically have a beard year round. Now that I have been using the Proshield razor for over a week now, I wonder what I was possibly thinking. I tend to grow course hair on my neck fairly quickly and can give myself some rather uncomfortable razor burn using a cheaper and substandard disposable razor. With the combination of the ProGlide Sensitive Gel, this razor smoothly "glided" over my neck and course hair. Whereas I use to nick myself with other razors, the Proshield didn't pull on the course hair or cut me. The precision trimmer on the edge also allowed me to get a cleaner look around the beard line. Since these blades provide lubrication before and after each stroke, I have not suffered any razor burn and have noticed that the initial blade I have been using has suffered very little degradation in the lubrication layer. As far as the main razor is concerned, it is made of, what looks like, a sturdy metal and is very attractive compared to other manual razors on the market. It has a good weight to it that is easy to handle and makes you confident in it's grip. The FlexBall moves to every contour and I expect that this razor will last for years. After using this razor and seeing the benefits with how it prevents irritation, I expect to make this a regular fixture in my household and look forward to using it for the foreseeable future.
