[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this razor free from Gillette. I've been a Harry's Shave Club subscriber up until I received it. The Gillette Fusion ProShield is a heck of a good razor. It provided a smooth shave and a close cut. I would definitely use it again and recommend the razor to my friends. The Flexball technology allows it to contour to your face for an incredibly close and smooth shave. Easily beats out the Harry's razor.

I bought 4 four pack razors totaling 16 blades. These were the dullest blades. They were pathetic! I have forced myself to use them because I paid for them. I usually will shave twice and throw the blade away hoping the next one is good, not so! I have used Mach 3 for 20 years. This last batch of blades were pathetic!

So if you don't have one,go buy one and try. You won't be disappointed...thanks again Gillette for a really great razor yet!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a hairy guy with European ancestry, I've had to shave since the eighth grade! My typical go to has been the Gillette Fusion for many years now. I've tried some of the newer upgrades they've had, but the newest ProShield is definitely an improvement. It has lubrication strips before and after the blades, and I can feel the difference. Another new item with these razors is the powerball flex head that moves, so the razor moves left to right along with the contours of the face. I'm not quite sure that I'm sold on the flexing head as I think I can get a better shave with the stationary head. However, I totally miss the vibrating razor as the one I used does not have the battery. So going forward, I'm going to get the ProShield refill blades and be sure to use them on the vibrating Fusion body. Five stars for the blade, four stars for the body. I highly encourage anybody with sensitive skin like myself to give the ProShield blades a try. I received this razor for free from Gillette but these are my honest opinions.

It has been more than 20 years I am using Gillette and couple of times give the chance to some others but nothing can beat even get close to Gillette when it comes to blade and razor. and now using this specific type for 3 years. very soft on skin and easy to cut all the hairs without scratch or bleeding

It seems like there are is a new technological breakthrough with razors every quarter and I have tried some of with mixed results. Like most guys when I go to pick up a new razor I am overwhelmed with the sheer number of options and get easily frustrated and grab the cheapest razor and go on with my day. Unfortunately my cheapness leads to razor burn, cuts, and ingrown hairs by the end of that razor’s life. So when I received the new Gillette Fusion ProShield manual razor with Flexball technology and a nice can of Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive shaving gel for free from Gillette I was curious to see what they had to offer. The razor itself has a nice futuristic look to it and the weight and construction are solid. It comes with five blades that help cut through stubble with ease on a single pass and leaves a nice close shave. The Flexball is a nice feature but I am most impressed with the spring loaded blade. The spring loaded blade allows you to shave from your neck to your chin and barely move your hand to navigate. The can of Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive shaving gel is rust resistant and does not leave any rust rings on your bathroom vanity unlike other traditional options. The way this bottle is designed helps eliminate any overflow gel and gives you just the right amount of gel that you need. I really like this gel because it leaves you with a fresh feeling when you shave and helps lubricate your face as well. I have been using this razor for more than a month and I have to say that Gillette really hit the mark with this one. The longevity of this razor is just right and the blades do not get dull as quickly as other razors. No more razor burn, cuts, and ingrown hairs for me. I always try to be much more careful when I am shaving near my chin or jawbone since that is where the razor makes a big move. This razor was so flexible and just seemed to glide across with ease. The included lubrication is also very helpful and makes the shave that much more comfortable. I also love the convenience of the trimmer for my sideburns. Shaving for me has always been a dreadful task for me because I have such sensitive skin. The shaving gel was soothing and smelled fresh. I received this product for free from Gillette for a review. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a the Gillett Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology free from Gillette in exchange for an impartial review. The first thing that I noticed about the Fusion ProShield Razor was the Flexball. I had not seen this before and it was intriguing. The Flexball allows the razor to pivot from side to side which is quite nice. The second thing that I noticed was the strips on either side of the five blades that are to help lubricate your skin before and after the blades pass over it. The third thing is that the razor comes with a precision trimmer on the back. I was excited to try this razor out as it quite a few more bells and whistles on it than your average razor. I have been using it for a few weeks now with and without shaving gel to get a good sense of the razor. I found that the strips allow the razor to glide over your skin easily even without any shaving cream or gel. I did find that I felt less pull on my skin and less irritation on my skin, especially on those areas that I had to go over more than once. No nicks or cuts in the three weeks that I have been using it. The Flexball allowed the razor to follow the contours and curves of my face easily. I am not a person who takes a long time to shave and I found that I was able to get a close shave both quickly and efficiently. The precision trimmer on the back of the razor is also nice to be able to trim my sideburns straight and even. I would have to say that this razor gives me a better shaving experience than the one I was using before I received this one from Gillette. I would recommend this to others if they asked me about it. The only thing keeping it from having five stars is the price. But besides that it is a great razor.
