When I first started shaving at around 15 this was the first good razor I bought myself. After using it for about a year, I felt like I was being scammed because the blades were just so expensive so I started trying other brands and styles of shavers. I tried the one that starts with an H and ends with an 's, I tried disposables, I even tried a classic safety razor with (super affordable) old-fashioned double-sided blades. This journey brought me nothing but cuts, nicks, razor bumps, ingrown hairs, etc, etc, etc. After a few years of never having a painless shaving experience again (and after getting a better job), I finally decided to come back and spend the money on the Gillette blades... my goodness what a difference. First time I tried these again I got the smoothest, closest shave in YEARS, even shaving against the grain WITHOUT A SINGLE CUT! I'm not gonna lie I still don't appreciate shelling out my hard earned money to a company as annoying as Gillette, but at the end of the day the product is what I'm buying and in this case I'm going to put a good shaving experience ahead of consumer morals...

I am truly impressed with how well the razor works on my face. My face has been looking smoother and hairless, thanks to gillette. Finally i can say no more razor cuts or burns. I must say for me who had tried many other razors. I was truly impressed i found a shavor that wasn't cheap but also i knew my money will be going to a good product and not to junk. I have tried other shavers which weren't the best and some were cheap and even pricey and still couldn't do exactly what i expected. Until i came across gillette and tried it for the first time. I was so happy and amazed on how well this razor took all the hair off my face and left no razor burns or cuts. The best part yet no more irritation. What makes it even better was the free shaving cream i got with it. Which i must say made my face feel soft and easy to shave without having irritation or feeling burns on my skin. Gillette will be the razor i will be using from now on...bye bye to all the other razors. Gillette is the best and has done everything i expected a razor i pay for to do. My wife loves my face now and al she talks about is how nice my skin feels and love giving so much more kisses. Thanks to gillette my confidence is back and i look better then ever.

I can't remember the last time I had a smooth shave with a razor. I highly recommend this razor for anyone for looking to have a smooth and flexible shave . This thing is magical... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my Gillette Fusion for a few years and love it. I have seen advertisements for the Flexball but thought it was a gimmick. Now that I have actually used it I would have to say it is very smooth. It moves nicely around your neck, this is the only area i use it because i have a beard. So if you shave a lot this is a nice razor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like a legendary, flannel-clad logger felling trees, Gillette's Fusion ProShield razor cleaves hair, leaving nothing behind. And that's a good thing. I've used Gillette for a while, so I'm familiar with their products, though I usually tend toward their lower-priced items. As such, it was nice to explore something new from them. Process: As always, I shaved right after a shower. This has always seemed to make for a better shave for me. Also, I used the Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive shaving gel that was provided in my BzzKit. Positives: This razor worked as well as I'd expect one right out of the box should. With five blades, one expects a close shave, and it was very smooth. It'd been a while since I last shaved, and sometimes that means a snagged hair here or there; I didn't have that issue with this razor. Also, my Adam's Apple, as some men might relate, has always been a tricky area for me: thinner skin, bumpy ridges, potential for knicks. I didn't have any problems, though, which was nice. Negatives: At this point, it's hard to point out any blatant negatives. The only thing I didn't care for much with this razor is the swivel head. I understand their point is to help contour to the skull, but they've always seemed to swivel in such a way that they don't always get as close as a non-swivel head would. Also, I wasn't completely sold on the provided shaving gel. It seemed a little thicker than the foaming gel I've used in the past, even when applying it to my face; imagine the consistency of soft-peaked meringue. The smell hasn't bothered me, yet, though, and since it's wafting into my nose all day, that's an important factor to keep in mind. Conclusions: As of right now, I have no real reason to stop using this razor. Everything new takes time to adjust to, so I will try to re-review after some more use, to see how well the razors hold up over time. Part of that long-term testing will also include my wife. She likes to use my old razors for her armpits. Maybe weird for some, but she prefers men's razors over the women's stuff. Once I get a few more uses, and she gets a chance to see what she thinks, I'll reevaluate where I stand. Four stars. Good product, but it hasn't yet convinced me to switch to it for life.

Got the product straight from Gillete and they included a bottle of lubricant which was pretty good. I tried already a few times and just think it does not get close enough to give you that real clean shave. I could still feel some stubble after a regular shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two weeks in with the Gillette Fusion ProShield and I'm still a huge fan! My neck is definitely less sensitive after using this razor. For example, my wife is a big fan of essential oils. Typically, if I put them on my neck after I shave I get a burning sensation. Since using the ProShield I have noticeably less irritation - and no burning when I use the essential oils! I've been using my ProShield with the Gillette Fusion Sensitive shave cream and it's a match made in heaven. I'm going to try and take a before and after picture before the end of the campaign for you all to see, but I won't be going back to my normal ol' Proglide!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited that Gillette was going to give me the chance to try the Gillette Fusion ProShield Razor with Technology. The first time I took it out to look at it I couldn't believe how nice it was I gave it a go and was very confused about my thoughts of it. First of all the shave was very nice I really liked how the razor moved around my face for a very close shave, the shaving gel made it an even nicer shave it wasn't till toward the end that I started to very slightly notice the razor starting to get dull. 2nd shave was not as good as the first I was very disappointed for the price of the refills I was expecting them to last a lot longer than what they did. I'm glad I got to try it but with that being said I think I will stick with the disposable kind which also last just as long.
