[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the gillette fusion proshield razor with flexball technology and lubrication strips before and after the blade that i received free from gillette is a very good razor.thin blades provide a very smooth,close shave.the flexball makes facial curves much easier and the lubrication strips provide defense against irritation and razor burn.when you pair this razor with gillette fusion sensitive shave gel you are in for a super smooth shaving experience.the gel plus skin care leaves skin feeling super smooth and refreshed.the clean dispense container prevents waste of product,and the rust free bottom eliminates rust rings on the sink or shower.the gel gauge allows you to see how much is left in the container.i am very pleased with the razor and shave gel and will definitely be purchasing both products in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this was an awesome razor. It gives a real close shave and was also a quick shave. I shave my head as well and usually about once a week and it didn't take long at all to shave my head and my face. All in all this is a great razor.

Lives up to it's Gillette history. I have my Dad's Gillette razor abd blades as a keepsake. It is a great product, has improved smoothness of use, which is good for sensitive skin. And it handles easily and is well built. I would definitely give one to each of my three sons! This is a dependable American company, one I want to support.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are the best razors I have ever used. First off they are weighted, by far the best feel in a disposable razor I have ever had. Second they are very sharp, they cut through my thick beard with ease. Third, they glide. The razors may be sharp but not a single nick or cut did they produce even after a weeks worth of shaving. The partnered shave cream lathered up so well and helped to make it an awesome shaving experience. I did receive the products for free from Gillette, but would have gladly paid full price for such a good shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor is a great manual razor, but depending on how you shave, the ProShield may work better. The difference between the two razors is that the ProShield has a 1/8" strip added to the bottom of the cartridge to apply gel before the blades, not just afterwards. Performance with gel: I found very little difference between the two razors when using a gel. In fact, I'd give the win to the ProGlide just because it is an 1/8" shorter so it was more manueverable. Performance with hot water/soap: This is where the ProShield razor shines. It gives the benefits of using gel to most of the face. Due to it's extra length, it is nearly impossible to shave in such a way under your nose or other tricky areas to apply the lube. For that reason, I deducted a star. Overall, the Fusion ProShield is a great option for those of us that don't always prefer to use gel or other treatments. I received this product in addition to a can of Fusion ProGlide sensitive gel in exchange for my honest opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the years I've had trouble finding a good razor that can deliver a good shave. I shave everyday and sometimes twice a day. Many times blades only last for two to three days before they start feeling dull and begin pulling out the hair. Gillette sent me a free Fusion ProShield to try. I was impressed at how comfortable the handle was to hold and it was shaped just right to use it without discomfort and without it slipping in my hands. The five blades did a wonderful job of giving a close shave and I didn't have to go back over any areas again. It left my face feeling smooth and refreshed without any stubble or irritation (a very important thing for me!) On day two I was pleased to experience another great shave. The flexible head works better than any I've seen on any razor and moves the way you would want it to along the contours of your face. Another great shave on day three, four, five, all the way through day ten. On day eleven I could tell the blade had dulled a good amount from all the shaving I'd done and I had to go over some areas again to get hairs that were missed. It still gave a really good shave and didn't cause irritation like some other razors will. I used the same blade for 16 days which is 3 to 4 times longer than other razors I've used. I would highly recommend this razor, especially for guys that shave everyday, because it gives a close, great shave every time you use it and for a longer period of time.

The shave: This razor is advertised to not tug or tear at your hair while you shave, so I thought I'd test it out by shaving/trimming my beard that was about 3/8"-1/2" long. I shaved my neck and cheeks and skipped my normal trim with my electric trimmer first. I used Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive shaving gel + skin care prior to my shave. As advertised, this razor gave me a close, comfortable shave without a single tug or tear despite going through long facial hair. The Flexball technology really does a nice job of helping to keep the razor following the contours of your face. Overall, this was the most comfortable shave I've had in a long time (maybe ever). While I was not in the market for a new razor, this experience convinced me to switch and I'll be buying refills for this razor when I run out of the supplied cartridges. Appearance: The first thing I noticed with this razor is its feel. It has a sturdy, metal frame that just looks and feels like it is high quality. At a glance, the razor itself doesn't look like anything out of the ordinary. Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive shaving gel + skin care: While this review is specifically for the razor, I liked this gel enough that I thought I would include it. My main comment is that after I shave I (always) use aftershave to help reduce skin irritation. After shaving with this gel, I did not feel any irritation and skipped the aftershave. Even the next day, I had no skin irritation. Summary: If you are in the market for a new razor, I have yet to try a razor that gives a better shave than Gillette Fusion® ProShield™ Razor with Flexball™ Technology. You won't regret it. If you're not in the market for a new razor, I'd still put this on your list when you use up your current supply of razors/cartridges.
