[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Fusion with Flexball is a hard product to review, mainly because I have some good things to say as well as a lot of bad things. First the good: it's a hefty, well built razor that feels like it has quality craftsmanship and is worth the $11 price tag. The five razors on the main cutting head were sharp and gave me a passable shave the first five times I used it. It also surprised me in that it was able to handle me shaving my head with it, a no-no for average >3 blade razors. Now the bad: after about 5 shaves in about 2 weeks, I noticed a dropoff in the sharpness of the 5 main blades. And, being that there are so many blades close together, they really tug your hair when they get the least bit dull. Also, the head of the razor is completely rigid, meaning no flex in the middle of the razor head, so there's a lot of razor off your face at a time meaning a longer shaving process. Not a bad point but a point of confusion: I have no idea what the flex ball is for. I shave in short straight lines with the grain of my facial hair. From what I can tell, the Flexball is only used if you shave in a serpentine pattern. Who shaves like that? For the life of me I cannot figure out the purpose of the flexball other than to look "high tech" and never once did the flexball even move while I was shaving. The shaving lotion that came with the razor was superb, clean smelling and lubricating. In the end, the Gillette Fusion with Flexball is the same product I swore I'd never buy anymore of 10 years ago, and the only difference is they've added on a useless gimmick. It'll give you a decent shave for a few times, but then you'll have to buy their exorbitantly priced refills for a semi-decent shave. I'll be sticking with my off brand, disposable, 3 bladed razors.

As you can see I am the one that have to shave at least 3 times a week because my facial hair grow really fast.. using this Gillette with Flexball was great the flexibility allow you to contour your face without any worries, I shave in record time and my skin was left soft and moist.

I can't remember the last time I had a smooth shave with a razor. I highly recommend this razor for anyone for looking to have a smooth and flexible shave . This thing is magical... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing about this razor is the flexball. It really does help when going around tough places like the chin. I shaved once and trimmed another time. I guess I'm not too impressed because I usually keep most of my facial hair. If you like to stay clean shaved then both the Gillette Fusion Proglide and Gillette Fusion Proshield are as good as anything else on the market. Or even a little better because of the flexball. But if you rock a beard a cheep disposable will do.

At first I didn't want to used it it looked to awesome Lol. The thing that got me when I used it was the clean shave all over tight edges it a all exclusive state of the art technology built in lubricant for longer use durable constructed to last with the interchangeable cartridges sold separately but my kit came with 2 extra for longer used. Really close shave and comfortable - I’ve been shaving for 40+ years and this is the best, easiest, most comfortable blade - but the blade on the back is worse than useless for me - when I try to get up close under my nose, if I’m not careful it cuts into my nose. If it weren’t for that, I’d use these more, but I only get them every once in a while, then tend to give them up after a few of those cuts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a razor, and a can of shaving cream for sensitive skin from Gillette. Chances are if you're looking at this product, you have an interest in how the swivel head works, and it works well. I will go into detail about that, and some of the very interesting things about the shaving cream can and use. I feel that this razor has made a substantial improvement that all other razors have been missing. That improvement being the swivel head, before my chin was a tricky area, and I would occasionally cut it, or have to go over it a second time. With this new razor I can see it swivel into spots that a normal non swivel razor would not do on the first go around. Also the first time I used it I noticed a closer shave than I normally get, repeated use of course will slowly dull the razor out which I have noticed, as with any razor I use. The one thing I wish it had that my other razors do, is a powered "vibration", this makes shaving feel much smoother, I don't know why but I instantly missed it when I tried the razor. The shaving cream provided has a very well thought out can, I know people don't normally think about the can but they did a great job. The cap can be twisted on the can to "close" it for travel, which is a very nice detail. I also noticed the can is rust proof, not sure if this is done with plastic or something else, and the can has a gauge on the side which tells you how full it is. I thought that was a great touch also, all three were big hitters for me. The shaving cream itself, a little goes a long way, and I can definitely feel it on my face, I don't know if it's a hot sensation or a cold sensation though. Once I wipe it off any sensations I did have go away. Overall I really like the razor, and the shaving cream can was quite possibly over engineered but I love how they did it and was really quite impressed. The one thing I miss in the razor is no battery power for that "vibration".
