[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best shave I ever had so smooth and you get a clean shave the shaving cream is nice too. I've used Gillette for years but this one tops it. Great smooth shave overtime. The kit is nice even for a gift for someone who is just starting to shave maybe like a teenager this way they have it all. The blades last a very long time compared to other razors I've used this way you get a great value out of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starting with a brief history. I am a 41 year male that has been shaving with blade razors for 20 years. Gillette has yet another great product here. I have been using the fusion proshield razor for a month with ten shaves on a single cartridge. I have very sensitive skin that is prone to razor burn. The razor has left very little burn even after shaving against the grain. Not sure if I see what the flexball technology has done for me, but by far one of the smoothest shaves I have had in awhile. The handle has great weight distribution to it as well. Gillette has been my go to razor since turning 18 when they sent me a free one in the mail on my birthday. Great marketing technique that should be continued today. I have been using the fusion proglide blades on an Art of Shaving handle and was glad to see the proshield blades will fit. Gillette keep up the good work.

I have been using this shaver for 1 month now without replacing the blade. I find it gives a much smoother shave that other razors including other Fusion blades. No cuts, no nicks even 1 month later. They may be more expensive that the 1 use disposable but it is well worth it. I highly recommend this blade and plan on switching to it myself from the standard Fusion blades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette was nice enough to send me their Fusion ProShield Razor along with a can of their latest shave gel in exchange for an honest review. Now that I have been using it for a couple of months, here are the important points: 1. Easy to open. They perforated the plastic packaging so I could open it with my bare hands - seems really obvious, but clearly the competitors haven't gotten the message yet. 2. It works with your existing Gillette Fusion razor system (razors and handles are interchangeable). 3. It is better (slightly). The two main improvements over other Gillette razors are a) it has those moisturizing strips before AND after the blades, so shaving is a little more pleasant and b) it has a "flexball" so it is easier to shave the contours of your face. 4. I work from home, so my shaves are all different - different times of day, sometimes daily, sometimes shaving a week of stubble or more. This razor doesn't care. It can handle any length of stubble. One other thing - the new Gillette shave gel is awesome. Why? Because the bottom of the can is plastic, so it won't leave rust-rings on my bathroom counter. Seems obvious, but Gillette seems to be the only one with a plastic shave gel container.

Let me first be clear that I like the razor and the shave. But, I do not get the life out of the blade that I had hoped. I’m also a head shaver, so I adjusted my expectation down to 2 weeks per blade. I’m not getting that. I’m probably closer to 10 days, which I could normally get out of many other blades.

When you first apply it, it comes out blue , then when you rub it your hands it turns white. Goes on nice and thick, (which I like). My skin did not break out from using this product. And in fact, I did not have to use after shave. My skin was soft and scented. Has a nice grip at the top of the product, so you finger will not slip. Has a swivel round top to lock it when you are not using it and to lock it from curious children. The bottle is made a plastic, so no more metal rings in the counter tops or showers. Now, lets talk about the Razor. This razor has a flex ball in the center of the razor. Meaning that it glides along your face, using thinner blades, giving you a clean close shave. This razor has 5 blades total, for a perfect cut. Leaving you with no nicks or cuts. You can also purchase refills for this razor. The razor is not light weight either. It is a pretty sturdy razor. Has a good design to it. I am sold that this Razor by Gillette is the one for me. You will not be disappointed, when you purchase this razor and use it. Plus your female friends, will love to touch your face. I recommend this razor for every man on the planet

Im glad I received the chance to test this razor out as it has become my new go to razor. The razor is cool, and gives you a very smooth feeling while you’re shaving. I recommend using Gillette shave gel which was included with this razor. It really allows you to get a better shave than a standard razor as the blades hug the curves of your face. I still have a little trouble getting the hairs on my lower neck. Overall, its makes me feel very smooth and clean after use. I will continue to purchase this razor in the future.

I have used the Gillette Power ProGlide since it first became available. Former Mach III user and switched over to get 5 blades. My beard is coarse and I prefer a smooth clean shave. I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't ever tried it. Best shave ever since the barbers straight razor.
