I would normally have some razor burn present on my face but this product has eliminated that issue. The flexball eliminates the need to repeatedly shave the same area since it follows the contour of my face so well. The straight razor, on the back of the blade, works well at controlling my unruly sideburns.

It even has a window to indicate how much gel is left! The best part was it was free! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a good precision trimming razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the pro shield razor for three weeks now. I shave just about 3 times per week and I am still on the same blade. I did have a few breakouts. Not sure if it was due to.the razor, however, it glided smoothly over the rough patches and did not cut me. I reccomend this product for anyone who wants a smooth, close, quick and frequent shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Gillette razors since I first could shave. They have come a long ways since the two blade cartridges that would clog up easily. Once the Proglides came out, I knew no other razor would do. Since then, Gillette has come out with variations of the Proglides, including fusions and now these Proshields with Flexball. I have tried them all, including the battery operated power versions. They're all great, but is an extra lube strip or rotating ball really necessary? I find generally not. You get a great shave with or without the Flexball. I've been using it daily for about a week and I get the smooth shave I expect from Gillette, but I find not much noticeable advantage to the Flexball. The only thing I can think of is the flexing ball might make it less likely to miss a spot, which I've been known to do when shaving in a hurry. So, I'm giving it a five star review since it is another great razor, but I find all the extra bells and whistles to be mainly for marketing and not really adding much to the shave.

It totally shattered my expectations, it's movement, lubrication strips, single blade edger wad all just about perfect. Easy to use, no effort needed when shaving around your chin or cheeks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the gillette fusion proshield razor with flexball technology and lubrication strips before and after the blade that i received free from gillette is a very good razor.thin blades provide a very smooth,close shave.the flexball makes facial curves much easier and the lubrication strips provide defense against irritation and razor burn.when you pair this razor with gillette fusion sensitive shave gel you are in for a super smooth shaving experience.the gel plus skin care leaves skin feeling super smooth and refreshed.the clean dispense container prevents waste of product,and the rust free bottom eliminates rust rings on the sink or shower.the gel gauge allows you to see how much is left in the container.i am very pleased with the razor and shave gel and will definitely be purchasing both products in the future.

The shave: This razor is advertised to not tug or tear at your hair while you shave, so I thought I'd test it out by shaving/trimming my beard that was about 3/8"-1/2" long. I shaved my neck and cheeks and skipped my normal trim with my electric trimmer first. I used Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive shaving gel + skin care prior to my shave. As advertised, this razor gave me a close, comfortable shave without a single tug or tear despite going through long facial hair. The Flexball technology really does a nice job of helping to keep the razor following the contours of your face. Overall, this was the most comfortable shave I've had in a long time (maybe ever). While I was not in the market for a new razor, this experience convinced me to switch and I'll be buying refills for this razor when I run out of the supplied cartridges. Appearance: The first thing I noticed with this razor is its feel. It has a sturdy, metal frame that just looks and feels like it is high quality. At a glance, the razor itself doesn't look like anything out of the ordinary. Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive shaving gel + skin care: While this review is specifically for the razor, I liked this gel enough that I thought I would include it. My main comment is that after I shave I (always) use aftershave to help reduce skin irritation. After shaving with this gel, I did not feel any irritation and skipped the aftershave. Even the next day, I had no skin irritation. Summary: If you are in the market for a new razor, I have yet to try a razor that gives a better shave than Gillette Fusion® ProShield™ Razor with Flexball™ Technology. You won't regret it. If you're not in the market for a new razor, I'd still put this on your list when you use up your current supply of razors/cartridges. While you're at it, you won't regret trying Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive shaving gel + skin care either! Thanks for reading!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item is sharp as well as perfect for sensitive skin. I did not nick myself and got a nice clean and close shave. The single edge on the back side made it easier to trim my mustache and clear the beard.
