I used to use Schick Hydro 5 and the place I bought them from stopped selling them and replaced them with the ProShield razors. I bought the regular ones in a kit and fell in love. Until I tried the ProGlide Shield. These give me the closest shave I’ve ever experienced and leave my legs so silky and soft. (Yes, I’m a girl who uses a men’s razor). Another pro, I cannot Knick myself with this razor. I can shave the most sensitive areas with no worries of cutting myself AND know I will be getting the closest shave possible. I already recommend these to everyone I know. Best razors ever!

I expect to get about a month worth of shaving with just one cartridge which makes the cost well worth it. Did not feel any friction it glides very smoothly and had no irritation the next day (which used to happen to me with previous Gillette razors). Overall a very high quality razor that does the job well and quite effortlessly!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] razor seems well built and feels nice. It is too much for med or less hair, if you have a think beard it is a good buy. I have a med thickness beard and it would dig too deep on the first path with even 3days of growth. I would not use this as an everyday razor but could use it as a once in awhile razor to knock down a thick beard. But it is not an item i would personal buy because of its excessive razor count and constant need to stop shaving and reset in order to not cut myself. overall a nice built and good option for thick beards. I also need to say that this razor would pull on my hairs as i trade to lift it from my face. If you are baby faced or med thickness don't buy and go with another razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a longtime user of Gillette's Mach 3 razors. Because I am such a satisfied customer, I have always been reluctant to try new products. Why fix something that isn't broken? However, I had the opportunity to try the new Gillette Fusion® ProShield™ Razor with Flexball™ Technology product free from Gillette. The product looked impressive when I opened the package. I liked the feel of it in my hand, and from the first use it did feel like the Flexball was more than a marketing gimmick - it did seem to hug the contours of my face better than other razors. The razor gave me a close shave, but initially irritated my skin. I wanted to give it a shot, so I have used it off and on with my old razor for a few weeks. I am glad to say that it only irritated my face on the first use. The blade has held up very well with repeated uses, and it compares favorably to the old Mach 3 product that I have used for so many years. I continue to get a close shave, even around those stubborn areas of my chin that other blades sometimes take repeated passes to shave properly. Will I switch? I will have to compare price points, but I would say that there is a good chance that I will. The Flexball is a winning technological innovation in my experience!

After being so used to using cheap, disposable razors, trying this product for the first time was truly a delight! When using this razor on my face, I never once cut myself and got a smooth shave every time. The product has some weight to it and feels very sturdy, however, with wet hands, the rubber gripping on the handle had little effect, causing me to grip the razor more to prevent it from slipping out and eventually leading to my hand cramping. But, this is easily avoidable by keeping your hands dry, unless you shave in the shower. The razor heads can be easily removed from the handle and replaced. After using this for the past few weeks, I don't think I would be able to go back to using disposable razors again.

was using Dollar Shave club in the past. Figured I would give Gillette another go (been years). I love the feel of this razor, the blades are amazing. one pass and done. I let a couple days go before trying (DSC pulled and hurt) just to compare. I was sold and will not go back to DSC. I Do not dread shaving any longer.

Second, before trying this product, one should ask themselves, "Am I not happy with my current razor?" My personal experience after trying this razor was not a pleasant one. They claim lubrication before and after the shave, which is true, only it left my face feeling uncomfortabley greasy. The razor itself is also bulky and a bit heavy for a razor. The handle is rather slippery when wet. As for the Flexball Technology, it does what it says, contours to your face better than other razors, although I could not line myself up with this razor, it does not seem to get the edges that smooth. The only pro I found is the fact that it shaves off more hair with one stroke due to the five blades it has. Overall I do not think I would switch from my current razor to this one. I currently use and will continue to use my Gillette Mach 3 Turbo, so I am fond of Gillette products which is why I was surprised to find the Gillette Fushion Proshield Manual Razor with Flexball Technology unsatisfactory.

It gives you a nice and clean shave. I usually had issues with most of the other Razors as they cause an allergy due to the scratching of the skin. But with Gillette Fusion Proshield Razor, I never had that issue. It seems like, it has not even touched the skin and not a single scratch. I will surely be investing in some refills of razor. And for the Shaving Gel, it gives a smooth and refreshing smell. When you apply it initially, it comes out as blue , when you rub it your hands it turns out to be white, nice and thick. And it is worth mentioning that, I never had to use any after shave after using the combo Gillette Fusion Proshield Razor with Flexball Technology and Shaving Gel.
