No bumps or irritating skin. the razor is a great buy. it has the flex ball which really helps to get a smooth shave, or and don't forget to get the shaving cream as well, compliments the razor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first razor ever was by Gillette. However, for the last 10+ years, I've used the 'S' competitor because I felt that I got a closer shave. I have to admit that before receiving my free sample from Gillette, I never thought I'd have anything positive to say, but I was very wrong: First, as far as the closest shave goes, the competitor still has the edge. However, I quickly discovered that there is more to a good shave than closeness. I found that the Gillette Fusion® ProShield™, while not shaving as close, caused much less skin irritation. I always use a Neutrogena face wash after shaving, which normally causes a significant burning sensation. With the Gillette Fusion® ProShield™, that irritating burning sensation was significantly and almost completely diminished. The lubrication before and after the blades definitely seems to makes a difference. Furthermore, my wife actually commented that my face feels smoother/softer. So the Gillette Fusion® ProShield™ trades extreme closeness for smoothness, because there is much less skin irritation. The only downside I found with the Gillette Fusion® ProShield™ vs. the competitor was that I have to shave slightly more often. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Flexball™ Technology. Although it makes little difference in most areas, it definitely helped my navigate around my chin. In the end, my very positive experience with the Gillette Fusion® ProShield™ Razor with Flexball™ Technology will not cause me to throw out the extra cartidges I still have from the competitor, but once I run out I'll definitely be looking to Gillette.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Gillette Fusion razor with Flexball that was provided to me for free with the company of their shaving gel for about a month now and this is the detail about my experience: First time shaving it was a bit awkward, first off because the gel has a silly string-like appearance which threw me off until I started spreading onto my face and realized it leathers like foam, but it is very very smooth; the gel instantly made a difference and it is now my choice product for shaving prep. The most awkward part was the razor. It felt really different -compared to the disposable Gillette I always used before. The five blades gave a really clean shave with fewer strokes, and it did not irritate my skin at all (I've never suffer from irritation with any razor, however) but I did cut myself because I wasn't ready for the full motion this razor has with the flexball so I was treating it like s disposable. By the second and on shaves my experience is really smooth and quick too! I don't spend as much time shaving yet I get a cleaner and smoother feel after. I recommend this razor and saving gel combination to any guy and girl out there who really want to experience a smooth shave and really get every area covered.

The razor works like a barber and the cooling sensation of the gel was like those of a spa!!! It left my skin so soft just a baby's bottom! I'm hooked! Thank you Gillette!!!

I suffer from acne & sensitive skin so I'm hesitant to try new razors. I got this razor for free from Gillette along with a can of Gillette's Fusion Proglide Sensitive shaving gel. I've used it a couple times and I'm very impressed with the results. I haven't had any irritation and the flexball technology makes shaving the chin & neck easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've now been using the Gillette Fusion Pro Shield with Flexball for a few weeks and am absolutely loving it. I'm still using my first blade and it's working just as well as it did on its first shave. The razor is giving me a clean, crisp shave without razor burn and without causing annoying nicks. And I do really love the way the flexball moves with the contours of my face. This is a great razor. I'm coverted and am telling my family about it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me start by saying that I did receive this product free from Gillette in return for my honest review. Second, before trying this product, one should ask themselves, "Am I not happy with my current razor?" My personal experience after trying this razor was not a pleasant one. They claim lubrication before and after the shave, which is true, only it left my face feeling uncomfortabley greasy. The razor itself is also bulky and a bit heavy for a razor. The handle is rather slippery when wet. As for the Flexball Technology, it does what it says, contours to your face better than other razors, although I could not line myself up with this razor, it does not seem to get the edges that smooth. The only pro I found is the fact that it shaves off more hair with one stroke due to the five blades it has. Overall I do not think I would switch from my current razor to this one. I currently use and will continue to use my Gillette Mach 3 Turbo, so I am fond of Gillette products which is why I was surprised to find the Gillette Fushion Proshield Manual Razor with Flexball Technology unsatisfactory.

After many, many years, I tried a new razor and company for several months. One day, after realizing the "new" razor wasn't getting as close I like, I went back to Fusion. I call it the yellow beard beater. Even with just soap and water, the closeness of my shave is awesome. Hooray, I'm back with what consistently does the job! Oh, by the way, I get a minimum of 3 weeks a blade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette sent me the new Proshield Razor to try . I thought maybe just another gimmick but that was not the case . This razor was smooth with the two lubricating strips in any direction I pulled! This is definitely an "edge" on the competition as Gillette has delivered consistently over the years. The new shaving gel dispenser as well has a new twist that eliminates the old mess associated with the old design and locks with the same twist. I love both and will continue to use .

I want got this item and was so excited to use it for my vacation trip. On vacation day I begin to shave and this razor is working poorly to remove the hairs on my legs. It almost felt like it wasn’t sharp enough. I definitely will not be purchasing this item again and I would not recommend this item to friends or family. I spent an hour and a half trying to shave my legs with this item and ended up having to use a cheap razor from the dollar store which was more effective then this “branded” razor.
