I signed up for this do I would not have to worry about running out of blades. After my 4th deliver, they stopped. No free razor kit. I contacted them and they said a software glitch messed it up and they sent the free razors. Since then, nothing, I’ve had to go buy them in the store.

And shaver is easy to handle .

I was skeptical about using a traditional razor because I'm so used to using an electric razor but after using the Proshield Razor that I received free from Gillette, I'll never go back to using an electric razor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a razor, and a can of shaving cream for sensitive skin from Gillette. Chances are if you're looking at this product, you have an interest in how the swivel head works, and it works well. I will go into detail about that, and some of the very interesting things about the shaving cream can and use. I feel that this razor has made a substantial improvement that all other razors have been missing. That improvement being the swivel head, before my chin was a tricky area, and I would occasionally cut it, or have to go over it a second time. With this new razor I can see it swivel into spots that a normal non swivel razor would not do on the first go around. Also the first time I used it I noticed a closer shave than I normally get, repeated use of course will slowly dull the razor out which I have noticed, as with any razor I use. The one thing I wish it had that my other razors do, is a powered "vibration", this makes shaving feel much smoother, I don't know why but I instantly missed it when I tried the razor. The shaving cream provided has a very well thought out can, I know people don't normally think about the can but they did a great job. The cap can be twisted on the can to "close" it for travel, which is a very nice detail. I also noticed the can is rust proof, not sure if this is done with plastic or something else, and the can has a gauge on the side which tells you how full it is. I thought that was a great touch also, all three were big hitters for me. The shaving cream itself, a little goes a long way, and I can definitely feel it on my face, I don't know if it's a hot sensation or a cold sensation though. Once I wipe it off any sensations I did have go away. Overall I really like the razor, and the shaving cream can was quite possibly over engineered but I love how they did it and was really quite impressed. The one thing I miss in the razor is no battery power for that "vibration".

Cuts like a charm without knicks and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and mousturized. Definitely worth it, specially as a present, I know I loved getting mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this razor for a couple of weeks now. It is an excellent razor, as I would expect from Gillette. I have used it for daily shaves as well as a couple of times with multiple days' worth of stubble. The updates since the Fusion Proglide, my current razor, seem to be the addition of a lubricating/moisturizing strip under the blades (see picture, comparing the two) and a pivoting ball in the handle. It is the same size as the Proglide and the shave is very similar. The blades are interchangeable with other Fusion handles, so you could use the new blades with your old handle or use your old blades with this handle. Bottom line, I don't see much of a difference between this razor and the older Fusion razors. However, since I do have some tricky spots, like under my jaw bone, the pivoting handle makes it a tiny bit more agile, which is why I will continue to use this handle with the rest of the proglide blades I have at home. Also, I like that they kept the single blade at the top for hard-to-reach areas- I use that under my nose and a couple of other tricky spots. This razor gives by far the most forgiving, smoothest shave I've ever experienced, especially when paired with the Fusion shave gel. I have super sensitive skin and often end up with razor burn blemishes all over my neck. But I felt like this razor, with the Fusion sensitive skin shave gel, cut down on that considerably.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing about this razor is the flexball. It really does help when going around tough places like the chin. I shaved once and trimmed another time. I guess I'm not too impressed because I usually keep most of my facial hair. If you like to stay clean shaved then both the Gillette Fusion Proglide and Gillette Fusion Proshield are as good as anything else on the market. Or even a little better because of the flexball. But if you rock a beard a cheep disposable will do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I received this product from the manufacture Gillette to review and all thoughts and opinions are my own. After opening the packaging on the Gillette Fusion Proshield I could tell right away that the razor was made of high quality materials. The Body is made of metal and feels like it would handle some daily heavy duty usage. My Fusion Proshield came with two cartridges/blades each having a strip of lubrication both before the blade and after. The cartridges also have a precision trimmer on the back for accurate edging. The cartridges are easy to change with just a forward press on the yellow button at the top of the handle . Shaving with the Gillette Fusion Proshield was a great experience! Just slathered on my favorite shave cream/Gel and noticed that the flex ball technology really helped the blades follow the curves and contours of my face. The result was a very smooth shave and a huge step up from my old disposables. This will most certainly be my new razor of choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this free from gillette and when i saw it i was amaze it look nice but as i used it just kept pulling the hair (mustache) and it was new . The middle ball did make any wow difference to me i got the regular fusion to finish the job. I did not like this product its not what i expected from gillette.
