[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited when I first got this product. However after using it I prefer the previous model. The Flex Ball Still works great but I think the extra moisturizer strip is a waste. Anytime I would put this on my bathroom counter the yellow moisturizer would rub off on the counter (and sometimes stain the counter). Also the blades feel like they don't feel like they get as close to my skin compared to other fusion razors. I think this product is a good idea but I think it still needs some improvement.

It really gives me a clean shave, I have also began telling all my friends about how great this razor is. I would definitely recommend this razor to other people. This razor practically did all the work all I had to do was move across my face.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Gillette Fusion ProShield razor from Gillette and I am enjoying having a clean smooth shave. They also sent me some of their shave gel and I like it a lot. The shave gel leaves my skin with a cooling sensation. I have not used manual razors in years because they always caused me to breakout, but so far so good. I have not had any breakouts. Overall I think this is a good product and all hairy men should try it. I will definitely be purchasing more refill blades in the future and I have already told my family and friends about this razor.

I had seen the commercial on TV and was skeptical about well it worked. It exceeded all expectations with the smoothest shave I have ever had. Thanks Gillette.

I signed up for this do I would not have to worry about running out of blades. After my 4th deliver, they stopped. No free razor kit. I contacted them and they said a software glitch messed it up and they sent the free razors. Since then, nothing, I’ve had to go buy them in the store.

Has a great trimmer on the backside that worked great around my ears... And the extra lubrication really kept the friction minimal... Great product I'll definitely keep using

The Gillette Fusion Pro Shield with Flex ball is top of the food chain providing the smoothest shave you're going to get outside a straight blade razor at the barber shop. No nicks or cuts and a baby bottom smooth face is what I get every time. No missed spots and my wife loves it. I recommend no other. I am a verified BzzAgent and received the Gillette razor and shaving cream for free to try and review. As mentioned, I've been a Gillette man for years and this version of their razors is the best. Would have bought it myself once my other kicked the bucket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like a legendary, flannel-clad logger felling trees, Gillette's Fusion ProShield razor cleaves hair, leaving nothing behind. And that's a good thing. I've used Gillette for a while, so I'm familiar with their products, though I usually tend toward their lower-priced items. As such, it was nice to explore something new from them. Process: As always, I shaved right after a shower. This has always seemed to make for a better shave for me. Also, I used the Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive shaving gel that was provided in my BzzKit. Positives: This razor worked as well as I'd expect one right out of the box should. With five blades, one expects a close shave, and it was very smooth. It'd been a while since I last shaved, and sometimes that means a snagged hair here or there; I didn't have that issue with this razor. Also, my Adam's Apple, as some men might relate, has always been a tricky area for me: thinner skin, bumpy ridges, potential for knicks. I didn't have any problems, though, which was nice. Negatives: At this point, it's hard to point out any blatant negatives. The only thing I didn't care for much with this razor is the swivel head. I understand their point is to help contour to the skull, but they've always seemed to swivel in such a way that they don't always get as close as a non-swivel head would. Also, I wasn't completely sold on the provided shaving gel. It seemed a little thicker than the foaming gel I've used in the past, even when applying it to my face; imagine the consistency of soft-peaked meringue. The smell hasn't bothered me, yet, though, and since it's wafting into my nose all day, that's an important factor to keep in mind. Conclusions: As of right now, I have no real reason to stop using this razor. Everything new takes time to adjust to, so I will try to re-review after some more use, to see how well the razors hold up over time. Part of that long-term testing will also include my wife. She likes to use my old razors for her armpits. Maybe weird for some, but she prefers men's razors over the women's stuff. Once I get a few more uses, and she gets a chance to see what she thinks, I'll reevaluate where I stand. Four stars. Good product, but it hasn't yet convinced me to switch to it for life.

After trying this new shaving gel and new proshield razor, I will never go back to any other razor. This the closest and smoothest shave I have ever gotten at home and is comparable to a professional hot shave at the barbershop. I followed my normal routine and scrubbed my skin with hot water prior to the shave and then applied the gel and began shaving. Not only did I not have any cuts at all even though I was shaving against the grain but my skin felt soft and lubricated following the shave and didnt even require any aftershave. I would highly recommend this razor to anyone that enjoys a very close and clean shave.
