[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a tempur-pedic before and when it came time to replace the mattress I knew it would be another. The firm is spectacular and feels so nice. If you like the feel of the bed when it's cold out then that is how the firm is permanently. Highly recommend it! I fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer than I did even on my prior tempur-pedic which was a "medium."

I normally do not do reviews but this weekend, we visited the Frontenac store in Ladue,MO. Corinne- our sales associate was awesome. From the time we arrived and explained we were trying to learn about their beds, their bases, she took it from there. Had great questions from both of us, wanted to understand our sleep regiment and from there began demo process on various mattresses and bases. Great experience. We have never owned a mattress like this before and can't wait to experience it. Corrinne made this a great experience and it was a true pleasure working with her. We left there Saturday, talked about it and returned Sunday. Had a few more questions, tested bed again and guess what- made the purchase.Thank you for everything you did for us as I would highly recomend her to anybody in the St.Louis area that is ready to make a change in their mattress but maybe their sleep style to receive the best night ever. This mattress is very comfortable for back sleepers that don't move around. Laying on either side gives me sore hips and shoulders-which I never expected would happen with the coils inside-it feels like laying on a slab of solid foam that doesn't give enough to transfer away from pressure points. I have a split king and the two sides slide apart to easily always with a big gap between them. They're too lightweight and should have side guards to keep them in place like they do at the bottom

I had the tempurpedic-Adapt - in medium for the 90 days traded it in for the pro-adapt-firm. Well best thing I ever did because just the other morning over a cup of joe, I asked my wife if I have been complaining about my back and she said no. So it speaks for it self

We purchased this mattress after trying it out at the store and reading great reviews on it, my wife is a back and side sleeper and I'm a stomach sleeper and the salesperson highly recommended it. I have always had the standard plush pillow tops and never had an issue but we decided to try one of these out and it was a huge mistake. For stomach sleepers your lower back sinks into the mattress and cause the most uncomfortable sleep and lower back pain when you wake up. For back and side sleepers I'm sure this mattress works wonders but if you're a stomach sleeper I would highly recommend switching your sleeping position or find a compromise on a standard mattress with your significant other, this one is going back and getting exchanged for a standard pillow top again.

Purchased our Pro Adapt Firm to replace a Tempur-Pedic purchased in 2004 ...I had spinal fusion surgery then and bought it on my Doctors recommendation...my wife recently had a similar back surgery and we decided to retire our old mattress and get a new upgrade with an Ease Base...we continue to be happy and comfortable...especially our backs...Count us VERY SATISFIED Customers...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After sleeping on this bed for about a month now, and breaking it in, I must say that it was worth every penny. Both my husband and I were experiencing regular back pain with our previous mattress. That pain has been eliminated since the first night with the Tempur-ProAdapt Hybrid. I actually look forward to getting in the bed every night now!

We replaced a Tempur-Pedic Supreme King mattress set for the Tempur-Pro Adapt Soft TXL Mattresses with the adjustable bases for head and foot. While they are soft and fairly comfortable, I feel like I'm 14 again in my "Twin" bed. I find myself constantly on one side or the other, never in the middle often on the "crack" because I'm 5'10" and 200 lbs. To break up a great king mattress for two (2) twins just to have the ability to raise and lower the head and foot is not worth the loss of the big king. My wife loves it, but we seldom raise the head or the foot unless we are "Not Sleeping" but lounging and watching TV. It's a trade off that only a Back Sleeper might enjoy. I am disappointed and since my wife loves it so much, and I feel like I'm headed for the guest room to enjoy the comfort of my old mattress. We moved the Supreme King into our guest room. Great product but wrong choice. Having a King adjustable would not always be fair to one or the other sleeper who might not want the head elevated etc. Still in the trial period but feel I am stuck. What I recommend is two (2) Queen's for a truly giant sleeping experience.

We purchased this new mattress prior to a shoulder surgery. Our mattress was old and needed replacing so we purchased a new mattress with an adjustable base to assist during recovery. It took a while to get use to it as I am usually a side sleeper, but with the surgery, I had to sleep on my back for several months. This was definitely more comfortable than the couch!! However, now that I am recovered (6 months out from surgery) I have difficulty getting comfortable sleeping on my side again. I wake up with achy hips, making me wonder if the bed doesn't conform to my body as it should.

Our mattress was past the 10 year mark but lost comfort years prior. It's nice to sleep through the night not having to get up because my hip and shoulder ache. My husband loves having the head and feet up, i love just putting the head up a notch! I like to hit the ground running and this bed is helping me get back there.
