[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Smokey chapter is perfect it comes with the batteries included which is amazing and it's just perfect for anybody who has a small area or room RV anybody who needs and I'm an extra protection for fire this is definitely your smoke detector go to it is only 4 inches and it is self testing and super easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a smaller and sleeker smoke alarm. Easy to install, came with clear directions and easy to use mounting bracket. The bracket is marked so if you hang it on the wall, it’s sits correctly. It also has a safety feature that you cannot place it in the mounting bracket if the batteries are removed. I thought that was helpful. It is my understanding that smoke alarms are only good for 10 years. So I wrote the date of install on the back of mine so I know when to a) change the batteries annually and b) when to replace the device. I included a video of testing the alarm. It has the standard loud chirp.

Bought in July, now September. Started malfunctioning last month by alarming at odd times. Scares the crap out of us and our dogs. Just now watching TV and it alarmed again and it’s above me where I’m sitting. I’ve replaced the batteries twice thinking that might be it, nope! Will buy another brand and never a Kiddie brand again. I don’t trust this to even alarm properly if I did have a fire! If you like a smoke alarm that will scare you to death randomly, then this one’s for you! I’m done with this POC brand!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am most definitely one of those people who hate the chirping sound these alarms make when they are out of batteries. I also hate the sound when they go off. So this alarm is VERY effective! You will know; immediately, if anything is on fire. Works great at its job. Don't use it next to your ears though; ouch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small and compact, this smoke detector is a great addition to our home. The sensitivity seems better than most that go off with a little oven cooking. Tested the sound and it would be great to alert in case of an emergency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Kiddie Detect Smoke Alarm complimentary from Influenster to facilitate my honest review. This unit contains everything needed to install except a screwdriver. It's alarm is very loud with a high pitched and loud alarm. It contains a button to test the battery life and suggests being checked once a week. It's attractive looking and I found it easy to install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little Compact smoke alarm! This is perfect for small spaces. I raise baby chicks and am always worried about the heat lamp catching on fire. I am going to use this to put near my chicks since it small!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received complementary from Influenster and Kidde for my honest review. So honestly, I have never heard of this brand before but I mean like on the shirt contractor like a builder like why would you know houses feet are supposed to come with these already pre-installed lol. We replaced one that we already had because it kind of kept going off even though it had brand new batteries. This was so easy to install. The directions were easy. I love how compact it is it’s very aesthetically pleasing, and I like that it has the test weekly but in right at the front. and only requires two AA batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like how this is a small size smoke alarm for small spaces. However, it would be nice if it also had co2 detection as most devices seem to have. And, having it be AA batteries is the only downside for us as it seems the batteries always seem to stop working at 2 am where you’re sleeping, so a wall plug in would be nice to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how small this is! It doesn't stick out like the bigger ones we have. This came at a great time as we are remodeling and needed new smoke detectors. It was very easy to install. We tested it out and for such a small device, it packs a punch with the alert. We will be purchasing more of these for the rest of the house.
