This came at a great time as we are remodeling and needed new smoke detectors. It was very easy to install. We tested it out and for such a small device, it packs a punch with the alert. We will be purchasing more of these for the rest of the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a smaller and sleeker smoke alarm. Easy to install, came with clear directions and easy to use mounting bracket. The bracket is marked so if you hang it on the wall, it’s sits correctly. It also has a safety feature that you cannot place it in the mounting bracket if the batteries are removed. I thought that was helpful. It is my understanding that smoke alarms are only good for 10 years. So I wrote the date of install on the back of mine so I know when to a) change the batteries annually and b) when to replace the device. I included a video of testing the alarm. It has the standard loud chirp.

However, it would be nice if it also had co2 detection as most devices seem to have. And, having it be AA batteries is the only downside for us as it seems the batteries always seem to stop working at 2 am where you’re sleeping, so a wall plug in would be nice to have.

The alarm is very loud clear to hear and would definitely alert. Opening and closing the detector was easy I have mobility issues and everything was very simple and easy to setup myself

I pan fried bacon til room was smoky, and tested this against my Nest smoke detector, which was 7 feet farther away. My Nest continued to try and go off, whereas this didn’t even warn me. I had planned to use this in the back of our basement where my teen has just moved, but will use something else instead.

I love the long battery life, and will be sure to change when we change the clocks each year. I feel more confident our basement is safe when space heaters are on now with the addition to this smoke detector.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smoke alarm is much smaller in size than your typical device. It was easy to install and sounded very loud during the manual test. Time will tell if it lasts, but it seems to function very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am most definitely one of those people who hate the chirping sound these alarms make when they are out of batteries. I also hate the sound when they go off. So this alarm is VERY effective! You will know; immediately, if anything is on fire. Works great at its job. Don't use it next to your ears though; ouch!
