[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small and compact, this smoke detector is a great addition to our home. The sensitivity seems better than most that go off with a little oven cooking. Tested the sound and it would be great to alert in case of an emergency.

I was pleasantly surprised by how small and sleek this smoke detector was. Our current detectors are bulky and a bit of an eyesore and I had no idea detectors could be this discreet. It was also really easy to set up and install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Detect Smoke alarm is a great compact smoke alarm option to have in the home. I like the size of it, and how easy it is to use. It works with 2 AA batteries, and can be tested as well. (Careful when testing with the loud sound!) We put it in our living room, better safe than sorry. Make sure to read the manual as well, it has a clear guide on places to avoid putting it in (ex. garage, dusty areas) Would definitely recommend this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smoke alarm works pretty good and is nice to have but sucks it takes batteries. I’d prefer one that is hardwired but this one does the job. I’d recommend if you are good at remembering to change the batteries.

I pan fried bacon til room was smoky, and tested this against my Nest smoke detector, which was 7 feet farther away. My Nest continued to try and go off, whereas this didn’t even warn me. I had planned to use this in the back of our basement where my teen has just moved, but will use something else instead.

The alarm is very loud clear to hear and would definitely alert. Opening and closing the detector was easy I have mobility issues and everything was very simple and easy to setup myself

However, it would be nice if it also had co2 detection as most devices seem to have. And, having it be AA batteries is the only downside for us as it seems the batteries always seem to stop working at 2 am where you’re sleeping, so a wall plug in would be nice to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think fire/smoke detectors are one of the best safety items you can have in your home. That’s said - they aren’t super appealing visually. I like how small this one is- shorter than a pair of women’s sunglasses!!! It’s easy to install- it has screws, but I think it would also work well with paint safe adhesive strips.

So when I see how small and compact this smoke alarm is, I fall in love. And this came perfect timing, because I’m remodelling my room, so this will definitely replace my old alarm. I like that it uses AA batteries instead of 9volt. I always have AA’s around my house. The alarm is loud and would easily wake my family. Easy to use. The alarm is a little sensitive. I’d rather know it will go off easily than wonder if it will go off in an emergency situation. I’m looking to replace all of my smoke detectors due to age. I will be buying this same model for the replacement. Great product.
