[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Twelve years ago we spent a week at a lake house and got to try out a Tempur-Pedic mattress. We were sold after that week. Never had I slept so well, and my husband's back was happy too. It took us a few years to finally purchase our own, but I cannot imagine ever changing to another product. We bought a queen in 2015 and a king in 2019. Both are the same type, the original formula. Love them. For some reason I prefer the queen mattress, but don't sleep on it because my husband prefers the king. Both are wonderful. For the years we used the queen, I would climb into bed and say to my husband, "Aren't you glad we finally got this." Not exaggerating. It felt so good at the end of the day climbing into it. Still like the king mattress very much but it does not feel quite the same to me. It may be the frame. The queen has the flat foundation on a standard metal frame. The King has a power base so we cannot have a flat foundation under it, so that may be the difference. I can recommend both mattresses though. Love the traditional Adapt. It feels very firm at first but completely adapts to my body as I move.

We bought this mattress 30 days ago. It is the most uncomfortable mattress we have ever owned. We are tossing and turning all night long. This mattress causes extreme back pain and numbness in the arms for side sleepers. We have tried kneeling and walking on mattress to loosen up, but nothing works. I am now sleeping on the couch. We called 2 days ago to return and we are still waiting to hear back from a representative from Tempur-Pedic. So far, not an easy return process as suggested by salesperson in flagship store.

I purchased two TWIN XL Medium Adapt mattresses from two different stores within two months of each other and within the last six months. The first mattress is much softer than the second one,, i.e. the firmness is lacking. It is obvious that the mattress is defective but Tempurpedic will not warranty it because their claim is that the mattress has to have a sag or depression. They believe that the same model does not necessarily have to feel the same from one mattress to another. I interpret that to be that they have quality defects in production and they don't want to stand behind their product. I submitted a warranty claim but Tempur wants to ignore it because it is not in their interest to stand behind their product. Tempur is asking for pictures that are impossible to provide.

At first this seemed like an amazing mattress, my wife and I were excited and enjoyed having a "high quality" mattress for the first time in our lives. A few months passed, the trial period went by, and all was well, until, slowly but surely, my wife started to experience chronic pain. This bed has cause my wife to not only have pain every night when she sleeps, but also while she's away from the bed during the day. She now has occipital neuralgia, chronic hip, back, arm, and leg pain. None of which were present before this bed, and all of which have gotten worse the more she sleeps on it. She now has tried countless things to treat the pain, from something as simple as new pillows and a mattress pad, all the way to getting nerve blocks. But it all comes back to the fact that as long as she's sleeping on this bed, nothing will fix the pain. Normally we'd just initiate a return and try another option, no harm no foul, but with the short trial period (other companies offer year long trial periods) tempurpedic said there was nothing they could do (we all know that isn't true). I just reached out again, a few months after my first inquiry, because, again, the pain has just gotten worse, but I'm also again not too hopeful. Unfortunately the amount that these mattresses cost makes it unfeasible for us to get a new mattress, especially since it won't be paid off for another 2.5 years. I'm writing this review to make people aware that the trial period is not nearly long enough to determine if a mattress (that you could spend a decade plus sleeping on) is right for you. And if you go past that trial period tempurpedic will wash their hands of you, no matter what, so you better hope nothing arises.

Very pleased with the mattress when I tested out at a store I knew I had to have it. The big test would be my wife because she was not with me at the time but she loves it too. You know what they say happy wife good night sleep something like that I think. GREAT BED.

For the most part we love the bed. No more back or neck pain. We can't feel the other moving around. And we seem to be sleeping much sounder. Coming from a California King to a split king is a little to get use to. It definitely feel a touch smaller. The dog is not thrilled with the new bed at all and has almost pushed the beds apart (the dog gives it four stars). We also purchased the amazing Cloud pillows. So worth it too.

I should have consulted with a representative instead of just ordering on line. I ordered a twin bed to fit the space. Well, I can't roll around. But ultimately with my physical limitations I find it difficult to move around anyway, so I expect that ultimately flat on my back will be my best position.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy my Temur-Adapt Medium Hyrid. I wake up now less stiff and less pain free. I love the bed frame. I can raise up the head of bed and watch TV comfortably where my neck doesn't get uncomfortable. There is a button that you push and puts zero gravity on my back!!! Which is amazing due to my back issues being a nurse. (Professional Harzard). The mattress is so amazing. I always slept on regular plane mattress which was causing alot of health problems. I can say that it's worth the cost.

I really love the comfort of this mattress but the covering is so slick I can't keep sheets on the bed! I've tried putting on a mattress pad; it just wadded up under the fitted sheet. Life with no mattress pad is no better. I'm remaking the bed from the bottom up, because the fitted sheet is in the middle of the bed, every morning. Anyone have fitted sheets with little rubber strips on the bottom?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thirteen years ago I bought my first tempurpedic classic mattress. I had never been able to sleep comfortably until then. I had a ruptured L5-S1 and a bulging L4-L5 with obvious disc disease. I even found myself sleeping sitting up during chemotherapy treatments. Thirteen years later, my back went out while moving and I noticed my mattress was no longer supporting me. I purchased the new mattress and within 4 days of sleeping on it, I am back to normal. This is a life altering product for me.
