[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to try the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Regenerating Cream for an honest review. I loved the feeling of the cream and the way it felt on my skin as well as how it felt on my skin. I loved how it felt on my skin when it went on initially and after it had sunk in and how I felt my skin felt when I woke up. It left my skin feeling soft, hydrated and super smooth, like incredibly so. My only complaint was that the unscented "scent" didn't smell good. I feel often an unscented cream is sort of bland or just smells like nothing. This cream had an unpleasant odor and wasn't my favorite. My preference if Neutrogena would like to know would be an absent scent or a soft, good scent. The cream's lack of a scent to me didn't speak unscented, but it had a negative smell to my experience with it. It was a quality product, definitely worth the trial for anyone who desires soft, supple, hydrated and smooth feeling skin. Only complaint was the scent!

It goes on the face very easy and the best part it does not leave greasy feeling afterwards. I love that its fragrance free which does not irritate the skin. It makes your skin smooth and it lightens dark spots. I highly recommend it.

I use a lot of retinol serums and creams, most of them from overpriced luxury brands, and I was skeptical as to whether or not this drugstore brand retinol cream would hold up next to them. I’m happy to report that it does and checked all of the boxes for what I look for in a retinol cream— it absorbs well, plays nicely with my other skin care products, did not irritate my skin, felt lightweight, and made my skin look and feel great. The only thing I would suggest is different packaging. I don’t like dipping my fingers into a product that I intend on putting in my face more than once. It would be better, more hygienic, if it was packaged in a bottle that dispensed the product. But all in all this is a 5 star product and I look forward to seeing how my skin looks after using it for a couple more weeks.

I was excited to try this. I noticed the burning after the first use. I read that mild tingling sensation can happen and to continue use. I tried a few more times, and stopped. My skin is SO irritated and I’m seeing more wrinkles than I had in JUST A WEEK!!! This is awful!!

Very light formula excellent to use as a base for makeup. Works great at night without clogging the pores. I can't not say I saw great results at the end of the month but my face certainly did not get any more discoloration or freckles during the time that I used it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to trial Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Regenerating Cream, thanks to a free sample from Neutrogena and Home Tester Club. I give this facial cream a five out of five stars after using it for two weeks, two times a day. The cream, though it glides on easily and absorbs rather quickly for how thick it is, initially leaves my skin slightly greasy. I found that if I allowed it to absorb for a few minutes, and then I used an oil-absorbing sheet, there isn't a better cream! This is definitely for the driest of skins. In fact, I don't know that I'd use this with oily skin type. However, it is perfect for my skin, which is on the drier side. I am switching my regular cream out with this one full time and can't wait to see how well it works over time!!

Some products can leave you feeling greasy or dry, but this one hasn’t don’t any of that. It goes on nice and smooth and feels great all day long. Start with 2x a week application and work your way up to 7 days because retinol can be drying for more sensitive skin.

In terms of my background, I have used retinol in the past, but not religiously. I am in my 40s and I don't have wrinkles per se, but of course my skin is not as great as it was at 20! At night, I typically begin my routine by using a makeup removing balm by Neutrogena. I rinse my skin and then use a mild toner. After that I apply this product. During the day, I always wear SPF and when spending time outside I reapply to make sure my skin is protected. This particular product has not caused me to have any adverse reaction. Since I am new to the product, I have noticed a bit of flaking which is actually a good thing. I know that over time, retinol helps to increase cell turnover, so I am really excited to see the long-term effects of using the product. So far, I can say that my skin looks more vibrant and less dull.
