You can't do anything on this TV without opening an account with Vizio. When you turn the TV on your automatically directed to Vizio platform, it doesn't pickup where you left off. If I had known the way the system works I wouldn't have purchased this set. The saving grace is it does have a nice picture and good sound once you get to what you want to watch.

Ive always bought " VIZIO" TV's ever since Walmarynhad Carried them. i recently bought and , given my Friend this 40" VIZIO TV! I also bought my friend a "ROKU" device, i think that they like the Combo! At Walmart's great pricing, im glad i bought them this Great Combo! I would Highly Reccomend both if needing a New TV, or the ROKU device, that seems to be a great marriage beteen the Two!

Not only do you now have to make an account for vizo products now which is stupid in itself, this one won’t stay connected to the internet and won’t stay signed in to the vizo account. Useless brand now. Get anything else to avoid dealing with the headache

It does not respond to remote unless directly aimed at the area of turning off/on %26 then you have to click several times. I also then had to buy a sound bar in order for the sound to not sound like it was in a box. Then sometimes when you turn on the TV it turns it self off %26 then you have to turn it on again. It was not the best experience ever with a new TV.

I bought this for over the air free TV broadcast. One thing got deep into settings and set it to open turning on to the channel it was on. Good, but then can't change channels until pressing Free TV button and back arrow. Then I can manage channels up down or by numbers on remote which most TVs don't have. The biggest annoyance is the previous button doesn't work at all, at least in over the air TV mode. I really miss going back and forth 2 channels. Set audio Dialogue Enhancer to high, great for me old man with poor hearing to hear the most important part, the dialogue. Love that feature, it has off, low, medium, and high. I use high, for me that is a great feature. Didn't need more than 1080p HD, that's what over the air broadcast is. But miss the previous channel button.

First of all; I read it wrong. If I would have realized it was only a 40”; I would have not purchased. It only has 2 HDMIs whereas if I had paid 8 dollars more for the 43”. It had more capacity. The settings is limited and a little more cumbersome. One of the biggest reasons I went with this was because it was supposed to be cyber sale. It actually worked out the Walmart just was trying to get rid of inventory. Next time,(lesson learned) pay more attention.

l Had a hard time getting it to program correctly, after i finally got it to program, it locked up my iphone and i had to have my daughter get it unlocked. . i wanted to attach it to my antenna and it does not have an outlet hoop up place for coaxial cable so will not be able to use my antenna. i had an older panasonic tv make in 2004 and it had a good picture but was outdated with todays technology and was reason i bought tv.

This 40 inch Vizio looks beautiful in the room the picture quality is wonderful however the remote is sort of a pain for instance when you press Channel 4 on the remote it doesn't automatically go to Channel 4 Once you press it it shows a little menu on the screen now you have to press the round circle which is right left up and down all the way to the bottom where it says okay in red then you press the center button and now it will go to Channel 4 it doesn't seem like much to do but it's a real pain when you're sitting there at night flipping channels the remote isn't lit up like they used to be and you have to press your number four then the down button on the circle and then in the middle of the circle is the okay button once you navigate down it's a real pain I don't see any reason why Vizio would make it this way every other TV has a number pad and when you press the number it should automatically go to it

I have a 75" %26 a 65" Vizio tv's this 40" has the same great quality as my other one's ... I bought Vizio's cuz of the price, there 4k, this 40 incher is Ultra HD wow, the pictures fantastic ... you want a low cost tv go with Vizio ... btw there's plenty of free movies to watch

took long to switch between streaming apps or free built in channels %26once it finally does load it ends freezing, lagging or speeding up the video as if trying to get it properly synced with picture %26 audio %26 the show or movie its trying to play... the only app it did allow me to watch anything in was netflix which played smoothly! internet connection was excellent so not internet issue! hulu, paramount the free tv nothing else would work properly
