although the safe is functional, we have had to wait 2 weeks to use it because of the offensive odor inside which the company says is due to the fabric glue used in manufacture. Also it had a chip in the paint finish and upon opening the front to insert the batteries there were 3 broken plastic pieces inside obviosly due to rough handling during manufacture. If it were not for the immense inconvenience, I would either demand a refund or replacement.

Brought this safe after looking at it for over a year. It finally went on sale. Gives us peace of mind. Heavy enough so I know that one person can't carry it away. I can lag it down if I want. bolts are 1-3/8 thick. Carpeted insides. I even left a few dessicant bags in the baack to keep out all moisture to protect paperwork, even though it may not be needed. Seems to be constructed well. Can't say anymore until a disaster hits. And I'm not looking forward to one!

As far as be secure I would have to say that I can’t get in, even with the factory code. Lights up green for a good code, but does not open. If it has a key it must be locked inside. Hopefully they will get back to me so I can use it as more than a paper weight.

The safe seems larger than the dimensions provided even though it is not. Everything that we needed to put in it for safekeeping fits perfectly with room to spare. It will definitely suite our purpose. The delivery came a little early and the team delivering were very friendly and accommodating. Thanks

Box was completely thrashed by the shipping company. I inspected it before signing and the safe looked ok—minor scratches and small dent. Sentry quality control isn’t good, I could tell that right off the bat. Interior shelf brackets are screwed in crooked and not tight. Interior lining isn’t glued in well—loose on all seams. Interior shelves are really cheap made. I bought this for the ETL 30 minute fire rating so hopefully it holds up if I ever have a fire. At 220 lbs the entire safe could easily be stolen by one person and isn’t as beefy as I thought it would be—definitely have to bolt it down. I’ve read other reviews that the locking mechanism and handle aren’t dependable so I will see after a few months of use if it breaks.

This a very good safe. Well made and very solid with plenty of room inside for the items that I want to protect. I hope I never find out if the fire and/or waterproof features actually work as claimed. The only issue that I have, is that the bottom of the safe is not level. It wobbles (btw, my floor is level). I used plastic shims to level the safe - it worked for me. If you are looking for a well made large safe from a reputable company and willing to pay the price, I recommend this safe.

Safe is roomy with three shelves plus the floor for plenty of storage. Very confident that safe will hold off anyone trying to break it open based on its weight and sturdiness. Really like how the door is secured all the way around when closed and locked. Problem was the electronic lock fails to unlock safe after installing new batteries and entering the correct code. Had to use the key to unlock safe.. Notified customer service and they are working with me to resolve this issue. I give them 5+ stars for their kind and prompt response to my problem. Unit arrived with most of the packaging torn or missing along with several scratches on the front (door). The electronic keypad was slightly damaged and a new one was sent out immediately. Unfortunate situation for me however, again, customer service is helping.

Nice size not to large but large enough to store a lot of documents, coins, etc. Only thing I wish there was a light inside that would really help. I found a magnetic light and attached to one of the shelves, and will get 2 more for the other shelves. Lights really make a difference.

Great size for all our needs. We had the smaller version at our last house but not enough room. This is great, easy to use and easy to follow instructions. I especially like the adjustable shelves and padded shelves/interior.

This is a great fireproof and waterproof safe that has replaced four smaller sentry boxes, no problems setting up, just a little bit concave on the bottom, other than that, everything is in one place, just what we were looking for.
