Lol. I always thought high-back boosters started at 4 years/40 lbs., so imagine my delight when I found this one starting at 3 years/30 lbs. Cue angelic choir. Imagine my happiness to receive this as part of Stellar Testing Panel. Huge huge win for us!!! Like any responsible parent, I did my research (translation: read enough reviews to qualify for an honorary PhD in Car Seatology). The seat arrived quickly. Setup was surprisingly easy too.. sooooo easy, I didn't even have to channel my inner IKEA warrior. It fit perfectly in my mid-size sedan, the fabric was soft, and my son gave it the coveted kid seal of approval by declaring it comfy before I even finished installing it. Big win.This booster has become our go to. We have two currently and plans to buy a third. The ability to run the seat belt through the strap holder eliminates the issue of the seat belt moving or not being at the proper height- an issue that we were having with other backless boosters. Kiddo reports that it's also much more comfortable. He falls asleep in the car often, and the headrest allows him to sleep comfortably so he's not slumping over. We love how easy it is to remove and move it over to another car. Very portable and light weight. Overall a great quality booster and we have recommended to others too!

The Maxi-Cosi RodiSport booster seat has been a great everyday option for our family. It is extremely sturdy, well-padded, and thoughtfully designed without being bulky. My 3 year old is comfortable on both short trips and longer drives, which makes it easy to rely on for daily use. The standout feature is the attachment system. The seat uses rigid metal rods that extend and lock into the tether anchors. This makes the seat feel securely integrated with the car rather than something that shifts around and is supported by straps. Installation was super simple! Just click it into place and you're secure. In addition to the seats locks, the booster does include a strap to secure the upper portion of the seatback to the headrest anchor. Another one of my favorite features is that it converts from a high-back booster to a backless booster as your child grows. the back is very easy to remove as it simply pops out and disconnects from the base. The booster also contains a hook to run your car's seatbelt through, keeping it out of the face of your child. It feels like every aspect and detail have been considering when this booster seat was designed. The materials feel high quality and breathable, and cleaning has been simple. Crumbs shake out easily, and small spills wipe right off without leaving stains. Overall, the RodiSport is a reliable, comfortable booster seat that's easy to install, easy to clean, and built to grow with your child!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport arrived, the first thing I noticed was how easy it was to get out of the packaging. No annoying styrofoam to get everywhere, just a nice box with a bag keeping the seat clean. Once I pulled it out, I went straight to youtube (I'm more of a visual learner than paper instructions) to find a video showing how it's installed step by step. After watching a quick video, it looked super easy, so I brought it out to my car and got it installed in about a minute (and I did it all by myself without asking my husband for help!) Some Pro's: Changing the headrest height and switching the back on and off is super straightforward and easy. I am also incredibly impressed by the cup holder and the seat cover. We have another booster seat that cost way more, but its cup holder is always falling off and the cover never stays put. The Maxi Cosi does way better in both departments. My daughter and her friends are obsessed with this booster. Whenever we head to the car, there's always a fight about whose turn it is to sit in it instead of the other booster. They're 5 and 6, and they're always saying how comfy it is. If I had to give it one “con”, I wish it had a bit more side impact protection (but hopefully we'll never actually need that!) But we are genuinely impressed and would recommend this to any family or friends. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Maxi-Cosi RodiSport Booster Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It can be used with the back or as a backless seat, but the height and weight requirements are actually the same for both configurations, so it's nice for meeting different comfort and safety preferences but doesn't change the longevity of the product. The back was easy to attach - I think - even for someone like me who gets hives at the thought of putting things together. I say I "think" it was easy because I tried a few times and never heard the click you're supposed to hear when you've attached the back correctly. The headrest is (for real) easy to adjust up and down. It uses the Latch system to attach to the car, which I find super helpful for installation and to make sure the booster doesn't slide around. The seat feels surprisingly cushy and seems roomy. The seat doesn't really have any bells or whistles. It comes with a cup holder, which you slide onto the seat and can slide off again to wash it (it's top-rack dishwasher safe, which is nice.) On the whole it's pretty light to carry. Despite the fact that this seems like a totally fine booster, it wouldn't be my first choice, namely because there's nothing on the seat to indicate if you installed it correctly. I also found some information online that showed it didn't perform as well in crash tests as competitors. It does meet federal guidelines so maybe I'm being too picky but for me the safety is the most important thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is quite a nice surprise! I wasn't expecting much of it, but it delivered! For one, it's absurdly easy to install. The fact that you can just push it back to adjust once you've locked it onto the LATCH system blew my mind! I've been dealing with car seats and boosters for 7 years and had quite a few different ones and this was by far the easiest to install: no straps to be pulled (which, despite being quite fit was always so difficult) and no struggling to find the latches because I can't see them. I slid the locking bars (pictured) as far as they could go, installed them onto the latch and pushed it into position with 2 fingers! I also love that I can use it with or without the back. It will come in quite handy once my not so little guy outgrows the high back. He absolutely loves it right now and finds it comfortable. We've only had it for a few weeks so I can't speak for its durability yet, but the fabric seems strong and is soft and comfortable. I did get this for free as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I did turn right around and purchased another one to install in my husband's car! I mean it when I say I loved it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport. It is the easiest seat to install I have ever had! It literally clicks into the car, and you're good to go. The headrest also moves up or down with an easy click. We ended up using it without the back, and my son felt so grown up. He actually asked 'Why is this so comfy?' Because it's easy to install, it's going to make moving the booster to grandma's car when she visits an absolute breeze. Our only issue is that he has two younger siblings who are also in car seats, and it was a bit tight in the back of my Toyota Yaris despite the other two having narrow seats already. This seat fits fine, but it's a little tricky even for little hands to reach the buckle between his seat and another. I almost wish the arm rest on that side could raise and lower to make buckling in a bit easier. However, overall, this booster is a dream. The convenience and ease of use is fantastic, especially if you want something you can easily move between cars and be confident it's installed correctly and securely every time. I really appreciate the Stellar Product Testing Panel sending this seat for us to try. It was perfect timing, because my son just became ready for a booster. I absolutely recommend it. In fact, we're going to be buying another for dad's car!

My overall impression of the seat is that it was lightweight, clean and comfortable per my son's words. Once I took it out of the box, there was 2 pieces and it was easy to put together. It was light and easy to move from one car to the next if needed. It was easy to adjust to have a proper fit for my son. As soon as he sat down in it to test it out he said it was “comfy”. I will take that because there are times that we travel and being comfortable is super important to me. The material used for the seat looks and feels high end. I love that it can be a traditional seat and then can change to a backless booster. It's a great concept and the only booster seat I will need. It can be broken down from the traditional to the backless booster pretty quickly. The feature that stood out most to me was how easy to put together and light it was.

This booster is great for being able to grow with my child from high back booster to traditional booster seat. The latches are simple to use. I appreciate the cup holder that can be placed on either side depending on where it is in the car. My 6 year old found the seat comfortable to sit in. The downsides I found were that the latch that is closest to the outside if the car can be difficult to get to when it's connected, as you need space to the side of the latch. Additionally, there is no tether like I am used to, so the seat was able to slide all over my third row, where there is no latch system, unless I kept the seat buckled in. Overall, I recommend this seat and found it very lightweight and convenient.

My daughter couldn't stop talking about how comfortable it was compared to her other car seat. We just got a second car and the timing of this new booster could not have been more serendipitous! I wish I knew about this booster seat sooner!! Truly!! In our other car, we have the UppaBaby booster, and while I received this Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport for testing as part of the stellar product testing panel, I will be buying a second to replace our Nuna. I kid you not— this thing is plush, comfy, has arm rests and a sturdy cup holder (our other one broke off in a week). To have a 6 year old say anything (let alone anything positive!) about a booster is wild to me. Don't sleep on this and don't waste your money on any other product. 10/10 would recommend for any of my friends and their kids.
