It was super easy to install utilizing the clips in the backseat. This is one of my favorite features. The clip in installation provides more stability and reassurance that the seat is not moving. It is very easy for my daughter to lock herself in with the seat belt where we only have to check. She enjoys the high back and the head rest. Seat padding feels super comfortable and we heard no complaints on our longer rides.

This seat was perfect for us as we have one in a booster and one in a high back booster. Installation was easy and I absolutely loved the built in latch feature which made the process so much simpler. It made the car seat feel safer too, as the latches made me feel more secure than the straps on other car seats which are hard to tighten. The fabric was nice and I loved the color. I could not recommend this car seat more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful looking car seat. I like the lighter neutral tone, and that it will easily go from high back to backless booster. I have another high end booster with a similar latch attachment mechanism, and I found this one much easier to install. The latch arms extend pretty far and make it easier to get a good locking position. It also enables us to adjust recline on the booster, which my 6yo son is loving. He is able to buckle and unbuckle independently, and this has easily replaced the previous seat as favorite. My one point of improvement would be to change to a more pill resistant fabric. There already is some minor pilling from normal use. While I would say the benefits definitely outweigh the minor aesthetic annoyance, that would be one thing I would love to see changed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't let the name Maxi-Cosi RodiSport trick you into thinking it's only for sports moms or families constantly on the go. This is truly an everyday booster seat that's functional and designed to grow with your child through multiple stages—from little kid to big kid. From the moment I opened the box, setup was incredibly simple. The seat comes in just two pieces—the high back and the base—which literally snap together (and apart) with ease. Adjusting the headrest can be done one-handed, which is a huge win because what parent ever has two free hands? It's also lightweight and easy to move from one vehicle to another. My favorite feature, though, is the rigid LATCH installation. Not only did it make installation quick and effortless, but it also gave me peace of mind knowing the seat was properly secured. No more tugging endlessly on LATCH straps or wrestling with the seat to get it tight enough. Like other high-back boosters, the RodiSport includes a seatbelt guide to keep the belt positioned correctly across the child's chest. The armrests are comfortable and functional, and they also help remind my child to place both portions of the seatbelt underneath for a proper fit. My not-so-little one has officially outgrown his five-point harness car seat. While that seat does convert to a high-back booster, it's bulky and heavy, making it inconvenient to transport. When he saw the Maxi-Cosi RodiSport, he was beyond excited to climb in! I love that this seat grows with him and easily converts from a high-back booster to a backless booster with a simple snap. From the moment I opened the box, I appreciated how straightforward the assembly was—just two pieces that click together effortlessly. The ISOFIX anchors were incredibly simple to use during installation, and the seat is remarkably compact while still being comfortable for my six-year-old daughter. One of my biggest concerns when purchasing car seats is whether they'll fit properly in my SUV, which can sometimes be challenging. I was thrilled with how nicely the Rodi Sport fit without requiring much manipulation of the vehicle seat. The headrest adjusts smoothly and easily, and I love the versatility of being able to use it as either a high-backed booster or a low-back booster, which means we'll get years of use out of it. What truly stood out to me was how intuitive and well-designed this booster seat is. The installation was genuinely easy—something I can't say about every car seat or booster I've used. All the adjustments required little to no effort, and the ISOFIX anchors were thoughtfully designed, making them easy to locate and adjust to fit my car perfectly. We've been using the Maxi-Cosi RodiSport and honestly I'm pretty happy with it. The rigid LATCH is a big win for me because it doesn't slide around when my daughter gets in and out, it stays in place and just feels more secure. It's also comfortable (good padding) and the headrest is easy to adjust as she grows. The belt guides helps a lot too, and I like that it can turn into a backless booster later so I'm not using something just for a short phase. The only thing that annoys me is buckling can be a little tight (depending on the car I guess) sometimes the seatbelt rubs near the buckle area so my daughter needs an extra second to get it in. Also I wish it had better instructions/labels right on the seat. But overall it feels sturdy, comfy, and it's been a solid booster for us.

We have been looking for a high back booster to replace another brand, and the Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport absolutely fits the bill. I have an 8yo who currently uses a backless booster, and a 5yo who is using a high back booster and tested this seat. From the moment I pulled it out of the box, the overall quality of the seat and fabrics was impressive. I received a light grey version, which is super cute and sure to stay cool in the Texas summer heat. While lighter fabrics might be more prone to stains, it is also machine washable (and DRY-able!) which will be very helpful. This model has the rigid latch, which is a recent discovery of mine, and I don't think I will ever go back! This is my favorite feature, as install is a breeze. Simply extend the rigid latch bars on either side, click into the latch anchors in the vehicle, and slide the whole seat back. As you push back, you hear/feel some click as it sort of ratchets back and tightens. I was easily able to get the seat secured with zero side to side movement. While lack of movement is not required in any seat, it helps keep seat belt buckle access clear and avoids unnecessary rattles. Fit to child was also a great feature of the seat. Simply grip the top of the headrest with one hand, squeeze the handle, and move up or down. The seat belt guide at the shoulder is OPTIONAL and only required to achieve correct seat belt placement as described in the manual. Use of the guide restricted seatbelt retraction in my vehicle, and placement was fine without, so we will not be using it. Conversion to a backless booster is very easy. With the seat removed from the vehicle, simply hold the bottom and push back on the top and they will click apart. I do appreciate that it easily stays clicked together in high back mode, so it will stand on its own without the back detaching, which is great when removing seats to clean out the car! The seat is low profile and much easier for my 5 year old to buckle himself in correctly. It is comfortable and appropriately padded, we used on a 3-hour road trip with no complaints. It is also a pretty booster, and I love the look in my vehicle. I would highly recommend this booster to growing families, and will likely be buying another for our second vehicle!

Upon first receipt of the booster seat, I was very much impressed with the construction, feel and look of the seat. The color was neutral and could be used for any gender child, which is a plus, as well. When I installed the booster seat into the car, it was super easy and did not require a lot of thought or work to get it placed into the car. The booster was also very lightweight and easy to switch between vehicles. I used the booster with both the back and backless with my child. She was very comfortable with both. Since she is getting older, we will likely opt to use the backless booster more often, but both styles are perfectly fine. Lastly, our favorite feature was the cup holder. My child really enjoyed having her "own" cup holder attached to the seat. Both my child and I really like the booster seat and would highly recommend to others.

Overall, this car seat is well made with nice comfortable and breathable fabric as well as a sturdy build that stayed well in place after installation. I like the neutral color of the off-white and the grey. The fabric felt nice and smooth and soft and can tell it was very breathable. The fabric was well made, and stitched well around the booster, overall great quality. For installation, overall it was easy to install. This particular booster had the solid “hooks” versus straps to hook into the seat. It did take a little just to attach it since they are solid, but once it is clicked into place, it is very sturdy and the bottom of the booster does not move which I feel like can happen, but with this booster, you know it is sturdy and stays in place once it's installed. So you know it is safe and sound providing peace of mind. I like that this booster can be set up with the back and headrest or as my child grows that portion can be removed, and only the bottom base of the booster can be used. It allows great flexibility as my child grows, which I like and it allows for easier transportation when we travel so it's not a bulky booster. It did feel lighter in general too. One thing I do wish the booster had was a second cupholder. This one only came with one. I also did feel like this booster isn't as wide as others, but it didn't seem to affect the comfortability in space for my child. However, it is something to note depending on the child sitting in it and how they grow. If space is a concern in the car this one I think is an average size but not so large. I would recommend this car seat if you're looking for one that will grow with your child and affordable price tag.

This is my third child to use a high back booster and most of the ones I've had are clunky and the material is not great. The Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport is appealing to the eye, the fabric is premium in comparison to most brands, and the latch system is great. It's easy to adjust and my child can tighten the seat belt in the right position all by herself. I anticipate this being the last seat we'll need for her and if we had to replace it for some reason, I would purchase this one again.
